Chapter 291 - Chapter 286: Eternity

A fatal premonition of danger that even a machine could feel came from there, and it was getting worse.

The atmosphere on the entire planet's surface turned into a tornado-like vortex here. Not just this battlefield, everything was trembling because of that power. Whether it was Elf or Dwarfs, Dragons or fantasy-types, at this moment, they all temporarily put their battles aside and watched the source of the danger.

It was as if the end of the world had arrived. Endless lightning intertwined in the sky, declaring the threat of that power. It was a power that was enough to shatter the earth, destroy the sky, and even knock down and shatter the planet that all races relied on for survival.

Opening their wings in unison, the Flügel opened their arms as if they were going to embrace the entire world, releasing their power. The halos on their heads had already rotated to their limits. Their power was gathering, gathering towards their master, their god.

'What would happen after this strike falls?'

Even the God of War Artosh himself couldn't help but feel curious about this. He was even more eager than anyone else for such an unknown.

Unaware of his intentions, the Elves, Dwarfs, and Dragons who belatedly came to their senses were desperately launching their most powerful attacks at this place, but in Artosh's eyes, they were all nothing but boring tickles.

His gaze was still fixed on that pitiful figure who was so weak that he could only be dragged and moved by the Elf, with the flesh and blood on his back scraped away by the rocks on the ground.

Their eyes met. He could see him, and he could let him see him. This was a cross-spatial gaze. Two opponents who were very clear about each other's existence but 'saw' each other for the first time. However, in the next second, that fragile creature passed out directly.

The God of War was slightly stunned by this result and then chuckled in a low voice. He could see that Elf moving with all her might and saw them falling towards the huge hollow that was burning with a blazing blue flame.

The collection of all the Flügel's power, except for the side-story individual, combined with all of his own power as the God of War, the power that would shake the entire planet. That was the absolute strongest strike that the God of War Artosh was proud of.

With the strongest strike in this world in his raised palm, time slowed down in his consciousness. The two falling figures in his sight had not completely disappeared and melted into the sea of spirits.

After this strike falls, what kind of future would appear?

Whether it was victory or defeat, Artosh believed that he would accept such a future with pleasure.

If the One True God, who was enough to end this long war that had lasted for countless years, was truly born today, then his attack was a cheer he offered for the birth of the One True God.

The smile on his lips had not disappeared. Artosh even laughed heartily and, bending his body, he forcefully threw out his power!

Destroy everything, suppress everything, and crush the attacks that those boring guys launched for their survival in a pillar of light that was so huge it seemed to connect heaven and earth, making the entire planet cry!

Heavenly Smite!!!

—A buzzing sound.

Everything in the world seemed to have stopped in place. This was not a unilateral time acceleration caused by an overly fast thinking speed and reflexes, but a truly frozen world—yet it was still possible to breathe.

Including the fantasy-types, the attack from the God of War Artosh made all the races know what true power was for the first time.

It was irresistible, un-resistible, and un-strugglable.

Neither the core explosion nor the Ancient Infinite Blessing could survive in front of such an attack. Even the final Dragon's Roar could only flash for less than a breath like a fragile bubble. The power that they thought could contend with it was just a joke, a joke that made all races feel despair.

This Heavenly Smite, which used all of his strength, had already shattered the entire planet. The cracked continents and the skyrocketing seawater splashed like a squeezed grape. The lava and mantle that erupted from the depths of the planet flew wantonly in mid-air—but they also stopped here.

The same question existed in the hearts of all races, but before their question was answered, the entire world became active again, as if it had a life of its own. A heavy breathing was in the ears of every race.

Time was flowing backward.

The skyrocketing seawater and lava retreated back into the depths of the planet along the trajectory they came from in a few breaths. The lifted tectonic plates and shattered huge rocks also fell back to where they should be, without a single gap between them.

The world had a life of its own. It was breathing, and every breath brought a new change.

The first breath that pierced through heaven and earth. The dazzling light that lit up in an instant made all the races on the battlefield instinctively cover their eyes. A bright sun that emitted light and warmth appeared at the highest point in the sky at some point, spreading light and warmth. Even the shallow seawater was made transparent, sparkling like a crystal blue gem.

The second breath that pierced through heaven and earth. The crimson sky that had lasted for countless generations was as if a hand had wiped a piece of glass, and it faded into a beautiful blue. White clouds slowly floated across the sky, passing by the races that were flying in mid-air.

What also faded was the rocky land that should have been forever desolate. Bright flowers, tender green leaves, and trees broke through the surface of the rocks and the soil, growing densely. Even the endless cold wind that was blowing also turned into a gentle breeze mixed with the scent of flowers, not too fast or too slow.

A fragrance that they had never smelled before, and so many bright and beautiful colors that they had never seen before. Rivers flowed out from the cracked high mountains, drawing long, winding snakes on the ground. Scale-shimmering fish were jumping in the clear river water.

The third breath that pierced through heaven and earth. The four seasons that they had never seen before appeared in front of all races. The vibrant spring, the scorching summer, the refreshing and bountiful autumn, and the snowy winter. When one cycle of changes passed in an instant, it froze again at the very beginning of spring.

The people who were wailing from the pain of their injuries suddenly found that the pain had left them at some point. Their missing limbs reappeared, and all the diseases in their bodies were also cleared out, as if they had an endless amount of strength.

They looked at each other in surprise. When they wanted to continue the war, they found that they couldn't even raise their hands when that thought arose. In the next moment, a falling leaf brought a message. The petals that were carried by the wind swayed, forming a few ribbon-like bands that extended from the entire earth to the highest point of the sky. It was Think's favorite flower, which had been transformed into a bridge that looked like a red curtain.

The petals flew past the Dwarfs' palms, brushed against the Dragons' scales, and swept past the Giants' huge eyes... It was a tornado of flowers, but it didn't make any race feel disgusted. Amidst this fragrance that echoed between heaven and earth, everyone looked up and watched, their gazes extending along this crimson river.

The war was over.

Although there was no verbal notification, this understanding clearly appeared in the hearts of every intelligent race—the war that had lasted for countless years, and whose meaning and victory had even been forgotten, finally came to an end on this day.

And the existence that ended this war was right there.

At the end of that bridge, at the end that was surrounded by flying petals, was the center of the world at this moment. A figure with platinum-blond hair, wearing a white robe, and slightly radiating a pale white light was standing there, smiling as he looked forward.

There was also a figure with pale golden long hair standing there, who was now tightly covering her mouth. The torrential tears could not stop flowing from her eyes, but under her tightly pressed hand was an uncontrollable smile of joy.

The missing flesh and blood had already reappeared on his body. All the suffering he had endured was now a real reward. Without too many words, Su'er just lightly raised his hand, wanting to hold Think, who was walking towards him at a fast pace. However, the hand he extended was forcefully pushed away by Think. In the next second, the pale-golden-haired Elf hugged him tightly. Tears flowed down her shoulder, wetting the white robe.

He slowly patted Think's back. When the slightly trembling body in his arms gradually stabilized, Su'er, with difficulty, pulled out one hand from Think's embrace and raised it. Between his index finger and thumb, he was holding a small ring—a ring made of his soul and Think's soul. The intertwined spirals were engraved with words of love and adorned with the most beautiful gems in the world. There was another identical ring, which was now on Su'er's finger.

"The one I promised you," Su'er said softly, looking into Think's eyes and wiping away a little of the tear stains under them.

Without any more words, Think just tightly gripped the ring that Su'er was holding up with one hand, and with her other arm wrapped around Su'er's neck, she kissed him, even harder than before, as if to let their two souls merge and never be separated again.

Intertwining, until eternity.

Releasing all of his love, the wetness between their lips, kissing everything about his lover with all his might, letting the world melt between them. Su'er's other hand also raised, and as his palm moved away, the entire world also moved away, like a gradually extending huge wide angle. Even his and Think's figures became small.

The palace created by petals and a gentle breeze floated high in the center of the world, filled with the fantasies and hopes of the world's people. It passed through the changes of the seasons and existed forever. Su'er's gaze had already passed through this world, watching the other side that mortals could not see.

"At least for this moment, can you leave this space for us—okay?"
