Ahil smiled and Raksheet sat down beside Ira.
"Shall we go now?" He asked.
Ira looked at him and nod. She looked at Ahil and waved at him. He stepped back and waved at her. He know his pain is nothing infront of Ira's but he had to show as if he is going through the same amount of pain and hardship as Ira to make her feel that there is someone who understand her.
After Ira and Raksheet left, Ahil started to prepare to leave as well. He prepared the carriage in which he will bring Anaya to palace. He informed his father and grandfather about his leave and left immediately. All the way he was just thinking how he will face Anaya after what he did to her. He hurted her self respect and may be he had broken her trust as well.
He didn't told her anything about his identity and suddenly made her and her family his slave. He still remember those questioning eyes looking at him and him revealing his identity as if they are asking him why he did this to her. Why he played with her emotions?
As the memories of his last meeting with Anaya started to roam in his mind and made him feel restless, he sighed and closed his eyes to take a nap. He will go crazy if he continues to think about it.
The carriage suddenly stopped. Ahil's eyes opened because of the sudden jolt and he looked outside the window by parting the curtains. As his eyes fell on the people standing at a distance, waiting for him with all their belongings and family members, he immediately stood up and fixed his appearance.
He again peeked outside the window and searched for Anaya who was sitting under a tree with her sister who was talking nonstop but Anaya wasn't paying any attention to it as her mind was completely diverted towards Ahil who has suddenly asked them to leave Bayar and come to Jwalana. Apart from leaving her kingdom, she was bothered by the thought of seeing the person she once loved wholeheartedly. But he betrayed her and even humiliated her by making her his slave. He didn't even spared her younger sister.
As Ahil saw the emotionless face of his love, his eyes soften and guilt rose in his heart. He was feeling too ashamed to go infront of her but he have to. He have to take her to Jwalana where she will be safe. Apart from his family, she is the only one for whom he want to win this war. So that he can live with her.
He closed the curtains and went towards the door. He took a deep breath to control his emotions and gain some strength to face her. He held the door knob and while collecting his all courage, he opened it. He wore a serious yet kind expression to not show his weakness to others and went towards them.
As everyone saw him coming out of the carriage, they stood up to greet him. Anaya was in daze until her sister shook her and informed her about Ahil's presence.
She looked at the direction where her sister was pointing and quickly stood up, fixing her appearance and kept her gaze low.
"Greetings your highness." Everyone said.
Ahil greeted them back and glanced at Anaya who avoided looking at him in eyes as those eyes reminds her of the days where they used to spend time with eachother as friends while talking freely and sometimes looking at each other deep in eyes without realising it. Those golden eyes of his were the proof of his love for her until he made her his slave and broke her heart.
She felt betrayed as if he used her just to make her father his spy. All the beautiful memories were planned by him to seduce her and make her kneel down infront of him.
Ahil accepted her ignoring him and smiled bitterly.
"Your highness, do you think people of Jwalana will accept us after knowing that we are from Bayar?" Anaya's father, Vansh kashyap asked, the fear of getting rejected by the people of Jwalana started to form in his heart.
Ahil smiled at him and replied "Why would they reject you if they don't know where you are from?"
"I didn't get it." Vansh replied.
"No need to tell anyone that you are from Bayar. When the war will end and we will win Bayar, you can come back. Till then, you all will stay in Jwalana palace." He again glanced at Anaya who didn't even raised her eyes to look at him atleast for once.
'Sly as always.' she thought.
Ahil sighed deeply seeing her ignoring him all the time and gestured them to come towards the carriage.
"Let's go then. Come." He said and asked the soldiers to carry the bags towards the carriage. He tried to approach Anaya and take the bag from her hand but she moved aside without looking at him and held her sister's hand, walking towards the carriage. He stood there for a moment, processing what just happened and realising how much anger she is holding inside her.
Everyone entered inside the carriage and the two children, anaya's sister and the son of other spy rushed towards the window seat and sat down, looking outside the window and touching the seat as it was so soft and comfortable. They had never sat inside a beautiful carriage like this.
Anaya came towards her sister and sat down along with her mother. Ahil and both the men sat down on the other side, a little away from their families, discussing the information they collected in Bayar.
After awhile, as all of them were tired, the women and kids fell asleep.
Ahil was thinking about the information he just got from his spies when his eyes fell on Vansh who was looking at his daughter with pity and apologetic look.
Ahil sat straight and asked to Vansh. "What happened? Is something bothering you?"
"My daughter, her marriage." Vansh replied without looking at Ahil.
As Ahil heard him, his heart skipped a beat. "What?"
Vansh looked at Ahil and said. "I had thought to get my daughter married this year. She had already crossed eighteen. It would be hard for her to get married after some time. But because all the things that happened in last few months, I couldn't focus on her marriage proposals. And even she didn't payed attention to it."
"M-Marriage proposal?" Ahil stammered as he heard that his lover got marriage proposals and he almost lost her.
