"What? Wolf?"
"It's just a false story Agastya spread to keep people away from forest so that no one will know about our hidden place."
"We should go forward. May be they went inside the forest." A man said.
"No." The other one replied.
"Why?"
"I heard that there is a wolf pack roaming in this forest. If we go more forward, who knows we will be able to come back or not. We should not take any chance. If they have went inside, they won't be able to survive till the morning. We don't have to search them."
"Right." Their leader said. "Let the wolves enjoy their dinner. Let's go back."
Soon everyone left and the forest became completely silent. The sound of Grasshopper and leaves can be heard that would easily scare a normal person but Cabail and Vikram, Being a spy were not affected by it. They stood up and looked around carefully to confirm that everyone left and started walking towards Cabail's hidden place.
They were taking every step carefully and slowly as the pain didn't left their body yet. Those people had beaten them a lot, specially Vikram. He was completely covered in blood and some wounds were still bleeding. They were taking eachother's support.
When they reached their hidden place, they could hear someone's low screaming and two people talking with eachother. They recognised the voice and knocked on the door impatiently.
"Agastya!" Cabail called in his hoarse voice.
"Ankush! Open the door!" Vikram yelled.
Ankush and Agastya were surprised to hear someone knocking on the door and looked at eachother with wide eyes. But when they realised who it is, they ran towards the door and opened it. But the scene infront of them shocked them even more.
"Sir Cabail!" Agastya said and immediately helped them in.
"Vikram! What happened to you?" Ankush asked worriedly and helped them sit on the chair.
They groaned in pain and Cabail said.
"Water."
"Wait. Ankush bring them water." Agastya said.
Ankush immediately ran towards the corner of the room and brought water for them. He kneeled down infront of them, looking at them worriedly.
"Who did this to you?" He asked when they finished drinking water.
"Someone kidnapped us. And I think they were from Bayar." Vikram replied, trying to sit straight.
"What?" Agastya asked, wiping the blood from Cabail's face with a cotton.
Vikram nod and his eyes fell on Shreyansh who was completely messed.
"Who is he?"
Ankush looked at Shreyansh and replyed with pure hatred. "Murderer."
"Murderer? Who did he kill?" Vikram asked.
Ankush looked at him with tears in his eyes "His majesty Viraaj."
Vikram's eyes widened in shock and he asked out loud. "What?!....When?!"
Cabail was shocked too but wasn't able to say much. He just rested his head on Agastya's chest, feeling weak to not even protect Viraaj. They failed in their mission.
Ankush nod and explained everything. Vikram was in daze for sometime but suddenly said.
"I know who is his master."
Everyone looked at him in surprise, including Shreyansh.
"Who?" Ankush asked eagerly "Isn't it Veer?"
Vikram nod and looked at him "Yes, he is. But he have one more master. More powerful, rich and the biggest traitor."
"Who?" Agastya asked.
"King Dhishva."
Shreyansh's eyes widened in shock that how Vikram know about it. Others were shocked too. This news was like a biggest failure of their life. They trusted the traitor himself to protect Viraaj. They handed over Viraaj to his killer.
"W-What are you saying Vikram? He is his majesty's son. He love him. Why would he kill him?" Agastya asked.
"I don't know." Vikram replied. "I just heard him talking to a man in forest. Veer used to go to buy the poison from that man but this time, king Dhishva came and I heard him saying that he and that man wants the same thing, his majesty's death."
Ankush fell on ground, holding his head. Thinking how stupid he was to trust Dhishva to take care of Viraaj. He should have paid more attention to Viraaj and people around him.
"If you don't trust me, ask him." Vikram said, pointing towards Shreyansh.
He nod in agreement to save his life.
Ankush's anger rose to see Shreyansh. He immediately stood up and grabbed the rod again to beat him but Agastya stopped him as he know Ankush will kill Shreyansh if he continues to beat him like this.
"Stop it Ankush." Agastya said, pulling him away from Shreyansh.
"Leave me! I will kill him!" Ankush roard.
"You can't! We need his testimony to prove king Dhishva and Veer's crime."
"I don't care! I will kill them too! Bloody traitors!!!!" He yelled his lungs out and broke down in tears.
Agastya hugged him and threw the rod away. He rubbed his back to console him. Ankush hided his face in Agastya's arms and cried out loud.
"I failed.....I failed in my first mission... that's why....I am getting punished like this.....I am a failure!"
Agastya caressed his head and Vikram said. "We haven't failed complete."
Agastya looked at him, Ankush still crying in his arms.
"We failed to... protect his majesty....but.... other part of the mission is still not finished. We have to find evidence against Veer and king Dhishva. And we have got the evidence." He said, looking at Shreyansh.
The messenger from Jwalana reached the Aaro palace in rush. He entered in the palace and Dhishva came towards him after receiving the news of his arrival.
"Greetings your highness." The messenger said.
"What happened? Why are you here at this hour?" Dhishva asked.
"Your highness, I am here to inform king Raksheet about war. Can I please meet him?"
"War? What happened?" Dhishva asked again.
"I will tell you everything but please let me meet him first." The messenger request.
Dhishva ordered a soldier to go and summon Raksheet.
