Chapter 333 - When Dragons Wear Aprons

The black-and-white maid outfit hugged the girl's slender, delicate body perfectly. Her long, jade-like legs were wrapped in sheer white stockings, her dainty feet resting in small dress shoes, toes slightly raised—making her already tall figure appear even more graceful.

Her hands rested lightly in front of her. After Logan issued his instruction, she bowed politely, and the words she spoke next made jaws drop across the room. The outfit alone was already suspicious enough—but that single word, "Master," erased all remaining doubt about her identity.

This was the very embodiment of every man's fantasy: a beautiful, obedient, and adorable maid.

Misty and Erika both looked at Logan differently now. They suddenly felt that their wounds hurt even more. It had only been a month—just one month—and Logan had already found himself a professional maid? And judging by the situation, this maid wasn't some occasional helper—she followed him everywhere.

Sensing their gazes, Logan hurriedly explained,

"…This is Latias. As the Eon Pokémon, she has the ability to transform into a human form."

After speaking, Logan called out to the maid behind him.

"…Latias."

The extremely professional maid nodded. Light rippled across her body, and before everyone's astonished eyes, she transformed from a delicate young woman into a graceful dragon.

The commotion drew the attention of Trainers working outside. Many temporarily abandoned their tasks and crowded in, watching in envy as Latias shifted freely between human and Pokémon forms.

A Legendary Pokémon by day—capable of battle.

A girl by night—warm and close.

And at all other times, an obedient maid who did whatever her Master asked.

This was the ultimate dream of countless Trainers.

Many had fantasized before—what if my Pokémon could turn into a beautiful girl?

"This is my first time seeing a Pokémon that can turn into a girl."

"So what? Don't you see reports all the time about Trainers announcing marriage with their Pokémon?"

"Marriage with Pokémon? I can't accept that."

"Please—people can marry fictional characters, but Pokémon are somehow crossing the line?"

"..."

"I remember a Trainer named Beifeng who openly bragged online about having sex with Pokémon. Eventually the League had enough and threw him in prison."

"Heh, Beifeng was just stupid. Trainers like that exist—just not many, and they don't talk about it."

"I've even heard rumors about humans and Pokémon having children. No idea if that's real."

"That's not the point—the important thing is this Pokémon can turn human!"

"Why would you want human form? The Pokémon body is better."

One Trainer's outrageous remark left the entire group staring at him in shock.

Logan listened as the conversation veered further and further off the rails. Seeing Erika and Misty's expressions darken, he cleared his throat and said sternly,

"…There are still many injured people who need help. What are you all standing around gossiping for? Get back to work—now."

The staff and Trainers jumped, then immediately scattered back to their duties.

Latias had no idea what they were talking about. She simply blinked her beautiful eyes in confusion—though she did remember what those Trainers had said.

"Latias, go check their injuries."

"Yes, Master!"

Latias bowed. After becoming Logan's Pokémon, he had once asked her what kinds of work she had done before. Upon learning that she had experience working as a maid in a restaurant, Logan immediately ordered her to act as his personal maid from then on.

Latias didn't resent it at all—in fact, she found it quite fun. She enthusiastically applied every maid skill she had ever learned to serving Logan.

"Don't worry," Logan reassured Misty and Erika.

"Latias has worked many jobs before. She even served as a nurse at the Pokémon Center in Altomare for a long time."

What Misty and Erika were worried about wasn't medical competence. But after exchanging glances and seeing Latias, they suddenly felt amused at themselves.

Why are we even jealous of a Pokémon?

With her mood easing, Erika lay down beside Misty.

As Latias prepared medical tools, Misty asked softly,

"…Have you learned anything new about the mysterious man you met in Altomare?"

"I asked the League," Logan replied.

"They have no record of him. He'd never appeared before—it's as if he came out of nowhere."

Of course, Logan didn't add that the mysterious man was himself. Instead, he gently patted Misty's hand.

"…Don't worry about that right now. Focus on recovering."

"…Okay."

Misty blushed slightly at his touch—but her face was so pale from blood loss that the color barely showed.

Latias finished preparing and gently removed the bandages from Erika's abdomen. When Logan saw the wound—nearly piercing straight through—he sucked in a sharp breath, fury filling his eyes.

A deep gash split the pale skin, the contrast between white flesh and crimson blood painfully vivid.

Latias carefully cleaned the blood with medical cotton and replaced the medicine. Erika's brows knit tightly; she flinched from time to time but bit her lip, refusing to cry out.

To distract herself from the pain, Erika grabbed Logan's hand. Her lashes lowered, her voice soft and delicate.

"…Most of Kanto's Gyms have been crippled. I'm afraid we won't be able to support you anymore."

Her brows furrowed, fragile as a willow in the wind. On the nearby bed, Misty clenched her fists, teeth biting into her lip hard enough to draw blood.

She had always wanted to help Logan—yet when he needed her most, she could do nothing.

"Lance may be arrogant," Logan said quietly, "but he understands timing. He seized the perfect moment and plunged all of Kanto into helplessness."

He held Erika's boneless, slender hand. Fortunately, Misty—lost in self-reproach—didn't notice the intimacy beside her.

"Zekrom is extremely powerful," Erika warned softly.

"You must be careful. The Elite Four won't wait for us to recover. They'll complete their plans as fast as possible and then purge Kanto entirely. But even now… we still don't know where their base—actually is."

Shame and frustration flashed through Erika's eyes. As Kanto's long-time coordinator, she had failed to uncover that location even after all this time.

Bound to Celadon City and its Gym, Erika had nowhere to retreat. She had been forced to hold her ground—and that gave Lance his opportunity. Using Zekrom's power, he struck her down heavily.

Had the battle taken place in the wild, even if she couldn't defeat Lance, she could have escaped without suffering such grievous injuries.

"I already have the exact location of Cerise Island," Logan said with a faint, confident smile.

"So don't worry, Erika."

"Cynthia and the others in Sinnoh have also learned about Kanto's situation. They're rushing here as we speak and will arrive by tomorrow at the latest."

"You and Misty just focus on healing. Leave everything else to us."

Erika didn't ask how Logan had obtained information she herself never could. She simply nodded firmly—placing her complete trust in him.
