Hi, this is W. Usually, I let R handle everything since my role is mainly doing the research (though I sometimes mess it up). I'm not used to writing in English, so I apologize if there are mistakes in this message.Although, well, the huge number of Spanish-English dictionaries of R helps a lot.
R has been feeling depressed lately. Not long ago, his girlfriend,whom he had been with since they were thirteen,broke up with him. It affected him deeply, mainly because she said she felt stuck with him. He still doesn't have a stable job since he's missing some of the legal requirements for his mandatory internship with the state, which he needs in order to become a lawyer. That situation made her decide to leave.
All this happened around the same time EU5 came out, and he's been isolating himself, playing the game while trying to cope. I'm afraid there won't be any new chapters for quite a while. R seems to be working on two different stories now—one inspired by EU5 about life in the medieval era, and another one based on our Warhammer 40k project, which involves a lot of my research. It looks like he's already started writing both.
They're written in Spanish, so I guess they're more personal projects. And, of course, he'll probably finish them—writing usually helps him get through his depression. I went to visit him today since he had been making all kinds of excuses not to meet up.
I hope you all understand—those of you who enjoyed his previous story—but it's likely he'll set it aside for now, as he's focused on these new projects,and there's little I can do to convince him to do anything since he seems devastated.
