Asher stood quietly in a corner of the hall, clutching his injured arm and watching the others. They were discussing how to deal with the approaching Tiamat.

Although Merlin and the others had tried to get him to join their brainstorming, Asher refused, citing discomfort.

It wasn't that the battle with Goetia had left him fatigued, nor was it regret over not having the strength to stop Goetia from returning to the Temple of Time. He simply felt tired inside. According to Romani's earlier words, Tiamat was currently in a semi-sealed state, and the reason for sealing herself was, without a doubt, due to the Progenitor Goddess's gentleness.

She hoped someone would defeat her. Not to return to the Imaginary Number Space, but to permanently vanish.

Asher suddenly recalled his previous interactions with Tiamat in the dream, and the words she spoke at their final farewell. She said: "I will go back." ...Back to slumber.

She was once abandoned by her own children. The gods used her body to create heaven and earth, producing the soil of life, stabilizing the Earth's environment. Then, for a planet where an ecosystem was established, she became an unsightly hindrance. Like a night watchman, silently giving everything in unseen corners, doing nothing wrong, yet becoming an eyesore to the gods. She created everything, but in the end, she was discarded as unnecessary and exiled to the Imaginary Number Space.

An Imaginary Number Space with no life. And ultimately, what awaited her was the end of her life... this was the life of the Progenitor Goddess, named Tiamat. Asher didn't know if he was being overly compassionate, or if Tiamat's words at their farewell had simply moved him.

Everyone was thinking about how to deal with Tiamat, while he was contemplating what he should do. Awaken Tiamat's self-awareness? The battle with Goetia had almost exhausted his magical energy, and he was now in a very weak state, covered in countless wounds. Dealing with one Beast had already cost such a huge price and barely resulted in its retreat. Now, asking him to deal with a second Beast... The difficulty was too great.

Moreover, even in his prime, how could he awaken Tiamat's self-awareness? By shouting passionately at her, or by shedding a few tears? Don't be foolish; this isn't some third-rate script. If tears were so powerful, could he have cried a moment ago and moved Goetia into becoming the Human King?

And... the Chaldea group, and the people of Uruk, seemed to want to completely eliminate Tiamat. This was indeed the best approach, because the current Tiamat was completely unconscious. While sealing herself, she also sealed her own consciousness, taking revenge on this land purely out of instinct.

Asher looked up at the discussing group, and at the mirror Gilgamesh had just summoned. The mirror showed Ereshkigal currently in the Underworld.

"Hey! Can you hear me? Why has it been so gloomy since just now? What happened exactly? Can someone explain? Also, that Servant... I mean, where is Asher now?" Ereshkigal (Ere-chan) shouted while searching for Asher's location, finally spotting the young man in a corner. The exaggerated battle on the ground earlier was clearly felt even by Ere-chan in the Underworld. So, after she had called out a few times in the Underworld, Gilgamesh had used a mirror to show the scene in the Underworld.

After Mash gave a rough explanation, Ere-chan, after a few seconds' delay, suddenly leaned in, her eyes wide with disbelief as she looked at Asher: "So you guys were just fighting another Beast? No wonder I could feel the vibrations even underground, and those souls were fleeing in unrest.

So that's what it was..." Ere-chan snapped out of her brief contemplation, staring at Asher and quickly asking: "Oh, right, are you okay? Is there anything wrong with your body? Many of the souls I know ended up in the Underworld because they were injured but didn't pay attention. If you have any injuries, you must rest well."

"Asher?" Seeing Asher remain silent, Ere-chan called out again, her eyes filled with confusion.

Asher snapped back to reality and gently shook his head, "Don't worry, I'm fine. I just need a little rest." Ere-chan frowned slightly, staring intently at Asher. She could sense the despondency in Asher's will. Although she didn't know the exact reason, she could still tell that much.

"Can we try to lure Tiamat into the Underworld?" At this moment, Ritsuka Fujimaru, who had been contemplating a countermeasure, suddenly spoke. There were no living beings in the Underworld, so perhaps it could also be effective against Tiamat. Ritsuka's suggestion was approved by everyone, and all their gazes fell upon Ere-chan, but Ere-chan still looked at Asher with concern.

She always felt that his mood was somewhat off.

It wasn't until Mash called out again that Ere-chan came to her senses and nodded gently: "Hmm... this method is feasible, but..." She suddenly blushed, showing a somewhat embarrassed smile, "To set up the Underworld Gate throughout Uruk, it would probably take ten years."

"Ten years..." The few who had just been excited immediately lost their spirits. Ere-chan looked left and right, playing with her hair, looking very embarrassed, and said in a tiny voice, "But that... actually, I haven't been doing nothing these past few years, so... three days, just give me three days, and I can set up the Underworld Gate."

Gilgamesh's expression suddenly became subtle, and his eyelids seemed to twitch slightly. The Underworld Gate, which should have taken ten years to set up, would be compressed into three days. It was clear how many things Ereshkigal had been secretly doing underground during his reign.

Finally, after everyone's discussion, they reached a conclusion: at least, they had to hold Tiamat back for one day, trying their best to buy time for Ere-chan to spread the Underworld Gate throughout Uruk. Asher silently listened to their conversation, then turned and walked out of the hall. Gilgamesh looked at Asher's retreating back with a meaningful gaze.

Ishtar also looked at Asher with great concern, and everyone else's gazes also fell on Asher. The lively discussion suddenly fell into an eerie silence.

Mordred suddenly mumbled, "I feel like Father is a bit off."

"Absolutely off! Did that guy get a shock or something from fighting that Beast just now?" Ere-chan speculated.

"I'll go check." Jeanne was about to step forward as she spoke, but Merlin put a hand on her shoulder and shook his head gently. "I'll go. You all continue thinking of ways to delay Tiamat." After speaking, Merlin stepped out of the hall.

Outside, the sun had set at some point. Merlin searched for a moment, then walked over to Asher. "Can I sit next to you, Arthur?"

Asher didn't even look at him. "Suit yourself." Merlin sat down with a "heh" sound, casually putting down his staff, then turned to Asher and smiled: "Are you hesitating, Arthur?"

Asher didn't answer, but Merlin simply smiled and said: "Let me guess, is it about Tiamat? You're not still hesitating whether or not to be an enemy of Goddess Tiamat, are you?"

"Enemy or not... that's for you to consider. It won't be quick for me to fully recover from my injuries right now." Asher shook his head and said.

"But you still want to help her, don't you?" Merlin still smiled, but his gaze was as deep as if it could see through hearts. "Just like you said before you left Britain, you want to save the Second Beast?"

Asher kept silent.

"It seems I guessed right," Merlin sighed softly. "Arthur, I can understand your thoughts, but you must have seen it, right? That existence is no longer Tiamat. She is a Beast of Calamity that brings disaster, the Principle of Regression!"

"She was once the Progenitor Goddess," Asher said.

"Once, that's past tense," Merlin said.

Asher remained silent. From inside the hall, the sounds of discussion about how to delay Tiamat, and sudden bursts of laughter, could be vaguely heard. They probably thought Ishtar's Heavenly Bull was still there and could prevent Tiamat's advance.

"Is there any particular reason you have to do this, Arthur?" Merlin suddenly asked.

"Reason?" Asher chuckled, listening to the lively discussion in the hall.

"The only one willing to help her..." He suddenly stopped smiling and turned to look at Merlin. "Is me."
