The instant the Silver Dragon King opened her eyes, an overwhelming pressure from one of the ancient Dragon Kings swept across the entire Lake of Life. Every living creature within a hundred miles of the forest's heart felt it, an instinctive terror that forced them to prostrate themselves, trembling beneath the weight of primal draconic authority.
"You want to show me your power the moment you awaken? Not very polite, are you?"
Space itself tore apart like fabric, and a handsome figure stepped through the rift with casual ease.
Victor Stone had arrived.
"Are you Victor Stone?"
The Silver Dragon King raised her massive head, fixing her gaze upon the tiny human hovering in the void above her. Her ancient purple eyes narrowed in suspicion as she studied him intently. She couldn't sense even a trace of soul power emanating from him, he appeared no different from an ordinary mortal.
Yet this seemingly ordinary person floated effortlessly in the air, which revealed the truth. He possessed considerable strength.
In this world, only cultivators above the Titled Douluo rank could hover freely in the sky. Which meant this person's cultivation had to be at least at that level.
"Yes, I'm Victor Stone."
Victor nodded, his eyes wandering over the Silver Dragon King's form with undisguised interest. Before arriving, he'd imagined she would be an Eastern dragon, majestic, serpentine, adorned with flowing whiskers and scales of legend.
Instead, what he found was a Western dragon. A lizard with wings.
Well, calling her a lizard might be a bit harsh, but still. The disappointment was real.
If she had been an Eastern dragon, this world might have been a cultivation realm of ancient fantasy, filled with immortals and profound mysteries. Now it seemed this was merely a Western fantasy world. And judging by what he could sense, it was a particularly weak one at that.
From the moment he'd stepped into this world, Victor had felt how fragile its fundamental laws were. The heavenly principles here were so weak that a cultivator at the Foundation Establishment stage could display power equivalent to someone at the Golden Core stage back home.
In a world where the laws of nature were this frail, the native inhabitants naturally couldn't be that powerful either.
Take the Silver Dragon King before him, for example.
Despite her grandiose title, her actual strength hovered around the middle stage of Foundation Establishment. Well, that would be her strength in her prime, anyway.
Right now? She could probably manage early Foundation Establishment at best.
A hideous wound stretched more than ten meters across her smooth silver back, marring what would otherwise be a beautiful sight. Dark, malevolent energy seeped from the gash, actively preventing it from healing. That injury alone had cost her a minor realm of strength.
'And with this level of power, she still dared to speak so arrogantly in the chat group? She's lucky the girls there are so friendly. Otherwise, she would've been beaten to death already.'
"Human, you look down on me?!"
Victor hadn't even tried to hide the contempt in his eyes, and the Silver Dragon King felt the insult like a physical blow. She roared furiously, her voice echoing across the hidden realm.
Victor opened his mouth to respond, but the arrival of another figure interrupted their confrontation.
"Master, why have you awakened so suddenly, wait, how did a human appear here?"
The newcomer was a striking man with flowing black hair that cascaded down his back. Dragon horns crowned his head, and black scale armor covered his body in intricate patterns. As he approached to pay his respects to the Silver Dragon King, he caught sight of Victor hovering in the air. Immediately, massive dragon wings unfurled from his back, and jet-black dragon claws extended from his hands as he prepared to attack.
"Di Tian, stand down! This human is my prey!"
The Silver Dragon King's command rang out sharply.
'Di Tian?'
When Victor heard the name, he paused for a moment.
Not because he recognized it.
Simply because he thought the name sounded incredibly arrogant.
The "Emperor of Heaven"? Really? If Victor hadn't already sensed that this dragon-man's cultivation was only at the tenth level of Qi Refining, he might have actually worried the guy was some hidden powerhouse. Such a grandiose name, yet his abilities didn't match it at all.
'Aren't you afraid of getting beaten up every time you introduce yourself?'
"As you command, Master!"
Upon hearing the Silver Dragon King's order, Di Tian retracted his aura and retreated to a position behind her. But the hostility in his golden eyes remained undiminished as he glared at the intruder.
Victor seized the opportunity to speak. "Are you certain you want to fight me?"
To be honest, after discovering the opponent's true strength and current condition, Victor had lost his initial interest in battling her. This wouldn't be a fight. It would be outright bullying.
He was a cultivator at the Nascent Soul Realm, for heaven's sake. Going all out against a seriously injured Foundation Establishment cultivator who couldn't even exert her full power? He'd be too ashamed to tell anyone about it.
However, the Silver Dragon King completely misread his hesitation. Seeing what she interpreted as fear in his eyes, she immediately felt vindicated.
"Why, are you scared?"
A smug expression crossed her draconic features. "That's right. You're just a mere human. The fact that you can stand before me without being crushed by my Dragon King's might is already commendable enough."
Her tone turned magnanimous. "I, the Silver Dragon King, am not a bloodthirsty tyrant. Kneel and apologize, and I shall allow you to leave safely!"
Victor's eyebrows rose slightly.
'This dragon really is rude.'
It seemed they had no choice but to fight after all.
"Since you're the one who initiated this challenge, I won't hold back." Victor's expression turned slightly cold. "But I'm concerned I might accidentally destroy the planet beneath our feet. So let's change locations first."
The moment those words left his mouth, Victor raised his hand and snapped his fingers.
In an instant, both Victor and the Silver Dragon King vanished, leaving Di Tian standing there in stunned disbelief.
"This is bad! Master is in danger!"
After recovering from his shock, Di Tian immediately rushed out of the Lake of Life, desperately trying to follow his master's aura to locate them both.
Unfortunately, all his efforts proved futile.
Because at that very moment, Victor and the Silver Dragon King had already arrived in the void of space, dozens of light-years away from the planet.
"Where... where is this place?"
The Silver Dragon King was no longer arrogant. Her massive form trembled as she stared at Victor, her eyes filled with anxiety and fear she couldn't quite hide.
This human had transported her from the planet's surface to the depths of space in an instant, without her having any chance to react or resist. His strength had to be far, far greater than she'd initially estimated.
Then she recalled his words from moments before moving the battlefield.
Could this person truly possess the power to destroy entire worlds?
To wield such terrifying strength... could his cultivation have already surpassed even the God King level?
Thinking of this, the Silver Dragon King felt her heart sink even further. And when she remembered all her previous arrogant declarations, she felt like she was finished.
Victor naturally noticed the flash of fear in the Silver Dragon King's enormous purple eyes.
Unfortunately for her, it was far too late to surrender now.
The corners of his mouth curled upward in a slight smile. "This is where you'll be receiving your punishment."
Hearing those words, the Silver Dragon King immediately spread her massive wings and fled at full speed.
'Run! I must run!'
Victor didn't chase after her. He simply stood there in the void, watching quietly as she fled desperately into the darkness.
The Silver Dragon King was fast, incredibly fast. In the blink of an eye, she'd already covered hundreds of thousands of kilometers.
When she finally turned to look behind her, Victor was nowhere to be seen.
"He's... not chasing me?"
Just as that thought entered her mind and she began to feel a sliver of relief, an ethereal voice echoed from all directions around her.
"You're not going to keep running?"
The Silver Dragon King flinched violently, her head whipping around as she searched the empty void with growing panic. "Where are you? Show yourself!"
"Where am I?" Victor's voice carried a hint of amusement. "Haven't I been in front of you this entire time?"
Following those words, the Silver Dragon King's gaze snapped forward.
What she saw would be seared into her memory forever.
In the previously empty void of space, an enormous golden shadow materialized. The distant stars seemed tiny in comparison to this colossal figure. The shadow simply raised one hand and gently closed it around her, trapping her completely within its palm.
"Now then," that ethereal voice sounded again, like the whisper of a demon in her ear, causing the Silver Dragon King's entire body to tremble uncontrollably. "Are you ready? I'm going to spank you now."
"Don't come any closer!"
