Chapter 288 - Chapter 286: Everything Can Be Medical Ninjutsu

Sunagakure's Ninja Academy had far fewer auxiliary facilities compared to Konoha's.

According to the school administration, this was meant to cultivate a spirit of hardship endurance and simple living—not because they were poor at all!

In any case, students from Sunagakure had significantly fewer recreational activities during breaks than their Konoha counterparts.

That's why, when some upperclassmen spread the word that a Konoha exchange student wanted a demo match, every idle student rushed out, eager to see it with their own eyes.

"That bunch led by Kaseki are really getting worse with age! Picking on someone younger isn't something to be proud of, even if you win!"

"I heard it was the Konoha kid who requested the demo match!"

"Exactly why they're stupid! Winning is obvious, but if they lose, they'll shame the entire Sunagakure!"

"How could he possibly lose? That Konoha brat hasn't even started school yet, plus he's just a medical ninja—the weakest type in combat!"

"True enough. A medical ninja isn't worth fearing at all!"

Kaseki and his group realized their mistake by now; winning such a match didn't seem particularly meaningful.

Thinking thus, they hurriedly pushed forward a representative. "Senka is the weakest among us, so fighting him wouldn't be considered bullying."

Kabuto shyly scratched his head. "Either choice is fine by me. I'm really not strong—I don't think I could beat anyone."

Seeing Kabuto's modest and bashful expression, Senka almost felt awkward. "Don't worry. I'll end the fight quickly!"

Kabuto nodded vigorously. "Thank you, senior. Please be careful too!"

Medical ninjutsu? There's nothing to worry about… Senka scoffed silently. "Fine."

Both sides formed the Mark of Opposition.

"I'm coming—Clone Jutsu!" Skillfully forming a few hand seals, Senka created three insubstantial clones. The four figures—one real, three illusory—attacked Kabuto simultaneously from front, back, left, and right.

[Unbelievable Clone Jutsu skills!]

"Even the weakest among the upperclassmen, Senka, possesses such strength—that's Sunagakure for you!"

Kaseki and the others were just patting themselves on the back when suddenly Kabuto saw through the clones and raised his tiny fist to counter the assault.

They exchanged punches and leapt back to their starting positions—perfectly evenly matched.

After a brief silence, Kaseki's group quickly found new angles for praise.

"Bravo! This is exactly what Senka deserves!"

"Even after his attack was seen through, he reacted immediately!"

Just then, however, they saw Senka staring wide-eyed at Kabuto while his right arm uncontrollably convulsed violently.

Senka glared at Kabuto. "Was it you?"

Kabuto wore an innocent expression. "Didn't I tell you to be careful, senior?"

Deeply distressed, Senka retorted, "But that wasn't medical ninjutsu at all!"

"Yes, it truly is medical ninjutsu!" A teacher from the Ninja Academy stepped forward from the crowd. He shot Senka a sharp look before explaining coolly, "By transforming chakra inside the body into electrons and generating an electric field, one emits electrons toward the opponent's nervous system, thereby disrupting control over the enemy's body. It's a very advanced application of high-level medical ninjutsu!"

"Never thought someone so young could pull off such powerful Medical Ninjutsu..."

Kabuto politely explained, "Actually, this is the simplified version developed by Master Seiki specifically for the Disturbance Taijutsu. It can only affect a specific part of the enemy's body."

The teacher suddenly understood, "So it was developed by Master Seiki! That explains everything!"

Kaseki had already been furious about the outcome, and now seeing the teacher also leaning toward Konoha's side, his dissatisfaction was at its height. "Damn it, that doesn't count! This time I'll fight you myself!"

The academy teacher frowned, "Haven't you acted foolishly enough?"

"B-But he tricked us!"

Kabuto blinked innocently, stirring things up as he said, "Sorry, I didn't realize how weak seniors could be. Maybe my previous explanation wasn't clear enough!"

The academy teacher became even more displeased upon hearing this, "Are you saying he should've revealed more information? Idiot, would an enemy tell you their own intelligence details on the battlefield?"

Kaseki was momentarily at a loss for words. Indeed, blaming an enemy for not providing detailed information was extremely stupid, but he still couldn't accept it.

That technique—as long as they were careful, they could have avoided it easily. But they were deceived through underhanded methods and never considered that possibility.

If given another chance, they would have won.

Witnessing this scene, Kabuto sighed like a little adult, "Teacher, perhaps I should have another match with Senior Kaseki?"

The academy teacher expressed surprise, "You're sure? Kaseki is one of the strongest students in the school!"

Kabuto happily smiled, "Win or lose doesn't matter. As long as we can clear up this misunderstanding!"

Sighing deeply, the academy teacher shot Kaseki a reproachful look and scolded sharply, "Look at him, then look at your own narrow-mindedness!"

Seeing this, Kaseki himself felt confused—could it be that he misunderstood the other party?

Could it be that he didn't deliberately deceive them, but genuinely believed they possessed strong strength?

Shaking his head to dispel these distracting thoughts, Kaseki declared, "No matter what, today I must defeat him!"

With this thought, Kaseki marched forward, "Come on, let me see your Medical Ninjutsu!"

Kabuto nodded earnestly once again, "Then Senior needs to be careful!"

"I'm not an idiot who would fall into the same trap twice. As long as I stay vigilant and avoid being touched by him, nothing will happen," Kaseki thought calmly before declaring, "Come on, I'll show you the true strength of Sunagakure's younger generation!"

Both parties formed the Mark of Opposition.

This time, rather than waiting for the opponent to attack, Kabuto chose to take the initiative.

As for Kaseki, he calmly formed seals. In the next moment, a dome-shaped rock barrier enveloped him.

"The battle has already ended right here. With your medical techniques, you can't even touch me..."

BOOM!

Just as he finished speaking, the rock barrier was smashed to pieces by Kabuto's punch. The composed Kaseki was blasted out together with shattered rocks and debris.

The spectators looked on in shock, struggling to believe that such tremendous power could reside within that frail-looking body!

"Phew! Phew!"

Kaseki spat out the sandy grit from his mouth and glared at Kabuto in shock and anger. "You lied to me again! Didn't you say you only knew Medical Ninjutsu?"

Kabuto replied, all innocence, "Sure did!"

Seeing that Kabuto had the gall to admit it outright, Kaseki nearly choked on his outrage. "That counts as Medical Ninjutsu too?"

"Of course!" Kabuto declared proudly. [Medical Ninjutsu is for healing injuries, right? So keeping myself from getting hurt in the first place—that's the ultimate form of injury prevention, isn't it? In other words… perfect Medical Ninjutsu!]

Kaseki stared blankly. Is that actually allowed?

Then couldn't *anything* count as Medical Ninjutsu?
