"Guess it's up to me to turn the tide!" Once he'd mostly recovered, Naruto had his clone keep distracting the Evil God of the End while he moved in himself, launching a [Wind Release: Rasenshuriken] at the Wild Boar Demon!
His Truth-Seeking Balls were, after all, nonrenewable resources. Although he could replenish them from the Sage of Six Paths, he couldn't afford to waste them needlessly.
Besides, previous attempts had already proven that Truth-Seeking Balls couldn't instantly eliminate the Wild Boar Demon. Combined with the demon's shockingly rapid regeneration rate, Naruto had no choice but to temporarily use his [Wind Release: Rasenshuriken].
"Why does everyone hit me first?" the Wild Boar Demon grumbled to itself. Without the Evil God's cooperation, it had no intention of taking this attack head-on and instinctively tried to dodge.
But before it could react, Naruto was already in front of it. With a powerful kick, he sent the demon flying straight into the path of the incoming Rasenshuriken!
Letting out a pained "Arrrgh!", the Wild Boar Demon, now wounded, opened its enormous blood-dripping maw and lunged at Naruto.
Naruto didn't flinch or move. With the stench of the beast's breath in his nose, he planted both hands against the lower teeth and shoved upward with all his strength!
With a loud "Crack!" the Wild Boar Demon's jaw dislocated—completely unable to shut!
Seeing this, the Three-Headed Demon Eagle quickly rushed over to help.
Each of its three heads opened their long, sharp beaks, gathering Thunderbolt, flame, and Poison Mist respectively!
"Can it still use elemental attacks without chakra?" Naruto murmured with slight surprise, then grinned enthusiastically. Nine tails extended behind him like a spectacle. "Let's see whose power is stronger then!"
Before coming here, he had, per the Sage of Six Paths' instructions, borrowed a portion of power from each of the other eight Bijuu.
Nine blazing orange tails lashed wildly behind him, each spinning a [Rasenshuriken] charged with the power of a different Bijuu!
The Three-Headed Eagle gawked in disbelief—how could this guy contain so many chaotic powers inside him? Didn't he fear an explosion?
Boom!
The opposing forces collided violently in the void. Naruto's Rasenshuriken utterly overwhelmed the bird's attacks, carrying through and slamming into the Three-Headed Eagle itself!
In an instant, a scorched and disheveled bird tumbled from the sky!
But soon after, a brand-new Three-Headed Eagle emerged from the scorched remains!
"Figures—these demons are just too tough to kill!" Naruto sighed inwardly, though he remained calm.
With his arrival, the battle situation had already reversed.
Even while maintaining his clones, he not only held his own against two foes—he was dominating them!
Hagoromo and Nagato working together forced the White Snake Sage to shed its skin four times in just dozens of seconds!
Its current body resembled a freshly hatched snake—so frail that even the lightest touch could tear through its skin!
"If those two thick-skinned bastards aren't bad enough, if this keeps up, I'll end up a dead snake!" the White Snake Sage lamented.
Just then, a Spatial Portal tore open in the void, releasing an overwhelmingly immense Repelling Force from within.
In the blink of an eye, everyone caught in the battle was sent flying!
The next moment, a pale-skinned, elegantly composed youth stepped out from the Spatial Portal!
"It's you, Toneri otsutsuki!" Naruto shouted excitedly.
"otsutsuki!" the immortal and two hostile beings glanced at Toneri cautiously.
Observing this detail, Nagato secretly felt surprised. "They seem unfamiliar with him. So, is it really the Gaka organization behind them? Then why did people from the Xu organization suddenly appear?"
Before they could ponder further, Toneri looked toward the White Snake Sage and said, "I'm here to help Momo otsutsuki take you away!"
Naruto angrily shouted, "So you're actually working with Gaka! I've misjudged you!"
Toneri calmly shook his head. "That's just part of the deal. Besides, what does your opinion have to do with us?"
Naruto clenched his fist. "Hmph! I won't let you take them away!"
Toneri mocked, "You don't seem to have anyone familiar with Spatial Abilities here. How exactly do you plan to stop me?"
Naruto froze. Yeah, that guy Sasuke had gone on strike!
There was no way he could take this guy on alone!
Toneri continued, "I didn't come here to fight you. Save it for the final showdown! Moreover, the Ninja Alliance isn't as peaceful as it was when you left!"
Naruto was startled and quickly asked, "What do you mean?"
However, Toneri said nothing further and left with the monsters.
"Damn it! I hate people who always speak in half sentences!" Naruto growled in frustration.
Nagato remarked, "Unrest doesn't necessarily mean rebellion or chaos. It could also be some kind of celebration event. After all, Seiki is there overseeing everything. It would be hard for anything serious to happen!"
Naruto nodded slowly. "That must be it..."
Just then, three figures abruptly appeared within everyone's field of vision.
Accompanying them was a familiar voice.
"This time, I've brought Neji and Obito back from Shikkotsu Forest. Even if you undo my summoning seal... Eh? Where'd everyone go?"
Naruto said with a deadpan tone, "You really have perfect timing. They just left when you arrived!"
Sasuke immediately shifted blame. "How could you let them escape?"
"What could I do?" Naruto retorted. "Toneri came to rescue them, and you, who has Spatial powers, weren't here. How was I supposed to stop them?"
Sasuke stiffened, coughing twice. "Blame that damn snake!"
Neji widened his eyes. So apparently he was the only one who didn't even get to participate in any battle?
...
When they returned to the Alliance, Konoha's city area was indeed in chaos!
However, the chaos was somewhat different from what they had imagined.
It wasn't looting and destruction, but rather general pandemonium — chickens flying, dogs running wild — just utter pandemonium!
"Quick! Catch him, don't let him escape!"
"Wear gloves! Be careful, they bite!"
"Woof! Woof-woof!"
"Former Elder Danzo, don't pee on that streetlight!"
Through the streets and alleys, people were crawling frantically, cats were walking upright, and even rotting zombies were stumbling around the streets!
This bizarre scene left everyone stunned. Had they ended up in the wrong place by mistake?
At that moment, a faint voice came from beside them, "You're back already!"
Naruto turned his head and was startled by the state of the Sage of Six Paths!
The Sage's ghostly image had become much dimmer, as if he would vanish completely at any moment.
Naruto asked worriedly, "Sage of Six Paths, what's wrong with you?"
The Sage of Six Paths shook his head slightly, "I've sustained minor injuries."
"Even you can get injured!" Madara narrowed his eyes. "What exactly happened while we were away?"
The Sage sighed, "To put it simply, Isshiki otsutsuki and Momoshiki otsutsuki took the Underworld from me. During our struggle, the Underworld experienced intense turbulence."
"Souls escaped from the Underworld and entered decaying corpses. Other souls were disturbed and switched with nearby animals."
"And then, everything became what you see now."
