Yamanaka Inoichi, Hyūga Hiashi, Senju Hashirama (revived by Impure World Reincarnation), Senju Tobirama, and two other honored figures stood together. But the one who surprised Kaito most was none other than the Sage of Six Paths himself—Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo.
According to tradition, Kaito brought Ino before Yamanaka Inoichi and his wife.
Kaito smiled gently while Ino, cheeks glowing, said shyly, "Old man… you didn't escape this time."
"Hmph! From today, you must take good care of Ino!" Yamanaka Inoichi tried to sound stern, though the pride in his eyes betrayed him.
"In the future, I entrust Ino to you," Yamanaka Keiko added warmly.
"Don't worry, mother-in-law!" Kaito pounded his chest with confidence.
Next came Hinata, who stood by his side as he approached Hyūga Hiashi.
Hiashi's eyes softened with a complicated mix of pride and regret. The boy he once doubted had become the hero of the entire shinobi world.
Beside him, Hanabi watched Kaito with admiration shining in her eyes.
"I leave Hinata to you," Hiashi said at last, his gaze lingering on his daughter as though unwilling to let go.
"Of course, Father-in-law," Kaito answered firmly.
The Senju brothers were more relaxed.
"Hahaha! So I live to see the day Tsunade is married off!" Hashirama bellowed with joy, clapping Kaito on the back.
Nearby, Kushina stood with Uzumaki Mito and an elder of the Uzumaki clan, smiling through tears. With Kaito's overwhelming strength, he had even managed to reach the Pure Land and bring loved ones back for this day.
Finally, Kaito brought Kaguya before Hagoromo himself.
The Sage of Six Paths regarded them with a strange expression. "Everyone else gained a brother, but I… I suppose I've gained a father through circumstance." His voice was tinged with guilt. "I only ask you to take care of mother. Neither Hamura nor I ever truly understood her pain. Had we known, things would never have come to this."
He sighed deeply. "Mother was too distant, too cold. If only she had spoken to us… none of this tragedy would have occurred."
"Rest assured," Kaito replied firmly, "as long as I exist, no one will ever harm Kaguya again."
The formalities were complete. The wedding gave way to celebration.
The banquet hall roared with laughter and cheers. Shikamaru approached first, a mischievous grin on his face as he held a bottle of sake.
"No words needed tonight. We have one goal only—to get you drunk!" he declared, handing the bottle to Kaito.
Behind him, Rock Lee, Neji, Chōji, Naruto, Kakashi, and countless others gathered, grins wide with anticipation.
But Kaito only smirked. With his body strengthened beyond human limits, not even every drop of alcohol present could affect him. He drank freely, unfazed, and the celebration raged until midnight.
At last, the wedding came to a close. That night, Kaito returned to his own home, the flicker of wedding candles glowing warmly against the dark.
Years passed. Since his marriage in Konoha, the great Ayanami Kaito and his family had vanished from public sight. Only his legend remained.
In truth, he had created a parallel space connected to the shinobi world—a realm as vast as one-tenth the size of Earth itself. It resembled Mount Myōboku or Ryūchi Cave, but far grander. Verdant mountains stretched endlessly, waterfalls cascaded from towering cliffs, and clouds drifted lazily in the endless sky. It was a paradise, a sanctuary for his family.
One sunny day, Kaito lay on the grass, chewing a blade between his lips. The sky above was flawless, blue and wide.
"Kaito! Have you seen Hikari?" Ino and Hinata approached, walking gracefully across the meadow. Ino wore a fitted white dress, Hinata a soft pink one. Though years had passed, their beauty had not faded—they were still as youthful and radiant as the day he first met them.
Their eyes sparkled with carefree joy, untouched by the weight of the outside world.
Before he could answer, Kushina and Terumi Mei hurried toward him, a trace of worry on their faces as they held a small girl.
"Kaito! While Sister Kaguya was watching, she discovered that Hikari has already left this space!" Kushina said anxiously.
Kaito's eyes widened in mild surprise. "So… she managed to open the channel to the shinobi world on her own? Impressive."
The girl they spoke of—Ayanami Hikari—was the firstborn daughter of Kaito and Ino. Over time, Hinata, Mei, Tsunade, and Kushina had also borne his children. Three daughters and one son.
Kaito adored them all, though he often joked that daughters were his greatest treasures.
But Kaguya was a different matter. After years of shared life, their bond deepened, and to Kaito's surprise, she eventually accepted him fully. Though she had once been the cold, untouchable goddess, here she was simply a woman—a wife.
Her past, however, still lingered. Long ago, before she was sealed, she had eaten the fruit of the Divine Tree and, fearing her clan's vengeance, conceived Hagomoro and Hamura to aid her. Their birth had diminished her power, leading to the creation of the Infinite Tsukuyomi.
Now, though she had the choice, she refrained from having children with Kaito. "I am the essence of the God Tree itself," she once explained softly. "For me to bear a child, I must give away fragments of my strength. That would weaken you as well. There are already many children here. I will watch over them as if they were my own."
Her words had moved Kaito deeply.
On one evening, the two of them argued playfully over it within the sealed space, their sparring blending affection with passion.
Now, Kaguya walked toward him, dressed casually in white shorts and a loose shirt, her figure graceful, her coldness long since melted away. She held a child in her arms, her face serene and warm.
For the first time in countless centuries, she was at peace. She had found happiness, and she intended to hold onto it forever.
