"No! You… you look so familiar!" Magellan frowned, rubbing his chin in confusion.
"Director! That's him!"
From a distance, Sadi-chan clutched her whip nervously. "That's Kaito! A pirate! He once captured Admiral Akainu and extorted the Marines right from the sea!"
"What?!"
Magellan's expression froze. His tone weakened as realization struck. "The one who captured Akainu… you're that Kaito…"
His mind raced in panic. Damn it… I thought he was just some arrogant intruder. If I'm not careful, I'll die here today.
He clenched his fists. "Kaito! Why are you here? What's your goal? Do you plan to release every prisoner in Impel Down?"
"I'm forming a pirate crew," Kaito said simply. "I came here to recruit."
Magellan's eye twitched.
Recruit? In Impel Down?
If he didn't already know Kaito's strength, he'd have punched him on the spot.
"Impossible!" Magellan barked. "You might have broken in, but I'll give you a chance—leave now! Otherwise, once Marine warships arrive, you'll rot here like the rest of them!"
Kaito shook his head slowly. "Marine warships? They can't even protect themselves right now."
He didn't bother explaining further. In the next instant, his figure blurred, appearing right in front of Magellan like a flash step.
Magellan's eyes widened in shock, but before he could react, Kaito's black-coated fist slammed into his chest.
Boom!
Magellan was sent flying, crashing through several iron walls before vanishing into the distance.
With the warden out of sight, Kaito continued deeper into the prison—but a roar echoed behind him moments later.
"Do you really think defeating Akainu makes you invincible?!"
Magellan's body erupted with thick purple venom that coiled around him like smoke. The toxic aura spread across the ceiling, merging into a massive cloud of poison that glowed with a sinister light.
The air shimmered as the Poison Cloud grew, its deadly miasma filling the level. Even a single touch could strip a man of his senses and paralyze him instantly.
Magellan spread his arms wide and swung them forward. "Go—engulf him!"
The cloud surged toward Kaito like a tidal wave of death.
But Kaito didn't even flinch. His calm expression didn't waver.
With his current strength, poison held no power over him. His body had long since surpassed human limits—his chakra refined to perfection, his will unshakable.
He took a slow breath.
Chakra flared violently within him, and with a roar, he exhaled—a hurricane bursting from his lips.
The roaring gale tore through the corridor, shredding the poison cloud and pushing it back toward Magellan like a raging storm.
"Wind?! How is that possible?!" Magellan's eyes widened. "Wasn't his power gravitational?!"
There was no time to think. His body melted into a pool of venom that slithered across the floor, narrowly avoiding the oncoming storm.
Above him, Kaito hovered in mid-air, his expression sharp.
He inhaled deeply, then released a massive fireball—the scorching sphere blazed like a miniature sun as it plummeted toward the ground.
Magellan re-formed instantly, activating Soru—vanishing in a blur just before the fireball struck.
Boom!
The explosion left a smoking crater in the ground, molten earth glowing within it.
Magellan stared at the fiery pit, his face grim. He gritted his teeth. "Poison Pufferfish!"
He spat a volley of compressed venom spheres that shot toward Kaito like cannonballs.
Kaito raised one hand, palm open. His voice was calm but cold.
"[Shinra Tensei]."
Hum!
A burst of invisible force erupted outward. The poisonous spheres froze mid-air—then dropped helplessly to the ground.
As they fell, Kaito withdrew the repulsion.
He didn't intend to destroy the prison; unleashing his full power would endanger countless innocent civilians across the sea.
"You're not my opponent," he said, frowning. "And you can tell I'm holding back. I have no intention of destroying this place."
"Even so," Magellan growled, "I won't allow anyone to violate Impel Down!"
Purple toxins flooded around him as three colossal Venom Dragons emerged from his back, their jaws dripping corrosive venom that burned holes in the ground wherever it landed. Including Magellan himself, there were four heads in total—like a demon from the depths of Hell.
Feeling the heat of his own power, Magellan's confidence surged. He vanished again with Soru, reappearing behind Kaito with a furious shout.
"Fall!"
His iron-coated fist, infused with lethal poison, swung down. The three dragons lunged at once, fangs bared.
But as the attack landed—
Kaito's eyes flashed crimson, the tomoe spinning into a blazing windmill.
In an instant, a massive, dark-blue skeletal structure formed around him—his Susanoo.
The venomous fists and dragon maws slammed into the barrier, but the spiritual armor held firm.
Boom!
The impact sent a shockwave rippling across the prison. The ground split, metal walls groaned, and Kaito was pushed backward, crashing into the floor below with a thunderous roar.
As dust settled, a towering blue skeletal warrior rose from the crater—Kaito standing calmly within its ribcage.
His crimson eyes narrowed. "I tried to be lenient… but you insist on learning the hard way."
The Mangekyō spun faster, and raw spiritual energy surged forth—piercing straight into Magellan's mind.
The warden froze mid-air. His body stiffened, the light fading from his eyes as he fell helplessly to the ground.
Within the depths of a black-and-white mental realm, Magellan found himself crucified, unable to move, staring blankly at the nightmare around him.
