Hades looked reluctant to talk.
"What did you do?" she asked, again.
He rubbed the bridge of his nose. "I might have kicked Dominic."
Sunshine blinked.
Philip sat up. "Now this is a story I would love to hear."
Lisha lowered her hand. "Oh cousin, I know you are jealous because Sunshine was googly eyed when she heard that man's name, but it is no reason to kick him. For crying out loud, he has a wife in the medic bay, and he is grieving the death of his children. This is...."
Hades stretched his hand out and pinched her lips shut. "Stop writing fictional movie scripts. I did not kick him because of jealousy." He looked at Sunshine and said with emphasis, "I am not jealous because you made googly eyes at him."
"I don't even know what googly eyes are." Sunshine cried out.
Lisha leaned forward and said, "Have you seen Bob around Mrs. Alcock's cat, Pipi? His pupils get dilated and he...."
Hades groaned, bent, picked up Sunshine and walked off with his wife.
