Rias lifted one leg and crossed it over the other. Her thighs beneath her skirt were thick and soft, pressing together as they met.
"You surprise me, Yuu. I didn't think it'd take you so little time to come up with a solution."
In reality, he could've solved that the very moment the topic came up. But from his point of view, someone who wanted strength needed to at least put in enough effort to prove they wouldn't crumble under the weight of time.
If he gave her everything right away, there wouldn't be that satisfying feeling that made one say, I did it!
He leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees.
"Basically, I've been thinking about your situation. You're already strong. But not strong enough to beat a chicken... ahem! I mean, Riser."
Rias's lips twitched. Did he just call Riser a chicken? And imply that she, Rias, wasn't strong enough to beat that chicken?
The conversation had barely started, and she already felt the urge to hit him over the head.
Even so, she nodded.
"Continue."
"So the question is: how can I make you stronger?"
"That's a good question."
"And the answer is... magic."
There was a brief silence.
Koneko stopped chewing. And seeing that her master was about to be fooled by Yuu's explanation, she nodded before going back to her food. At least she wouldn't be the only one suffering this time.
"Magic?"
She sounded incredulous.
"Yeah. Magic. The thing I do all the time. I recently made food appear, stretched out a bench, and made angels sing. That kind of stuff."
Rias stared at him blankly.
"Yuu... that's not exactly the kind of magic that'd help me in a fight."
"Ah, but that's where you're wrong." He lifted a finger and wagged it. "Because what you've seen is only the tip of the iceberg. There's a lot more under the surface."
Akeno tilted her head curiously.
"What do you mean by that, Yuu-kun?"
"What I mean is... ah, well, I think it's better if I just show you, right?"
The girls watched as Yuu took out a half-red, half-white sphere from his pocket. It was about the size of his palm. They all wondered what he planned to do with it.
"All the answers are inside this sphere."
Rias stood up and walked toward him, leaning slightly forward as she tucked a lock of her crimson hair behind her ear.
The sight of her leaning made her breasts sway, revealing the valley between them. It was hard not to have his eyes drawn there.
She raised her brows as she looked at the sphere in his hand.
"Is that an artifact? But I don't feel any energy coming from it."
"You could think of it as an artifact."
Akeno leaned over his shoulder, her breasts pressing softly against his back. He could feel their warmth. At the same time, he caught her sweet fragrance.
'I suspect these two girls are trying to seduce me, but I can't prove it.'
"Where'd you get it?" Akeno asked softly near his ear.
"I made it myself."
Both girls looked surprised. Their eyes widened slightly.
After all, artifacts were hard to create. They required deep knowledge, rare materials, and above all, power.
"So, Rias."
To stop them from asking more questions, Yuu continued.
"You ready to train?"
"Yes."
She nodded, stepping back again.
"When will we start?"
Yuu stood up and moved a few steps away from the girls before turning around.
Suddenly, the girls froze as a red baseball cap with a white front panel and a green "L" appeared on his head.
He positioned himself dramatically, the sphere in his hand.
"Poketto getto da ze!"
And he threw the ball toward the center of the room.
The red-and-white ball opened midair, and from its center, a brilliant white light burst out, filling the room and engulfing all the girls.
"What—?"
Rias didn't get to finish her words.
The girls turned into flashes of light, and those flashes were sucked into the red-and-white ball before it closed.
Click!
Only Yuu remained in the room.
He walked over to the ball, picked it up, and held it in his palm.
There was a satisfied look on his face.
"I caught cute girls in my Pokéball."
The ball trembled slightly in his hand. He could feel the energy inside it. Four distinct presences, to be exact.
Yue, Rias, Akeno, and Koneko.
"Ah... I probably should've explained before doing that. But in my defense, they wouldn't have believed me anyway."
Then his figure vanished as well, teleporting directly into the space inside the Pokéball.
