At Floatia, Lincoln, his sisters, his friends, and their partner Digimon, along with everyone in Floatia were in the center of town, celebrating the defeat of the four evil Digimon; there were tables with platters of meat, fruit, vegetables, and beverages all around.
"We actually did it." said Lincoln before drinking a cup of fruit punch.
"Regalecusmon, GranKuwagamon, Blastmon, and VolcanicDramon are all history." said Rusty before biting into a watermelon slice.
"Guess they should have known not to mess with us." said Lynn Jr.
"A lesson they learned too late." said Lisa.
"Serves them right for trying to take over our worlds. " said Lola.
"You children have done well to protect both worlds." Seraphimon says to Lincoln and his sisters and friends.
"We couldn't stand by while those four threaten both our worlds." said Clyde.
"It was, literally, the right thing to do." said Lori.
"Agreed." said Pteromon.
"So, what now?" asked Zach before he bites into a chicken leg.
"I guess we can return to our world." said Stella.
"Sure hope our parents aren't too ornery for coming here." said Liam.
"I'm sure they'll get over it eventually." said Luan.
"How long do we have before that hole closes up completely?" asked Lincoln.
"About half an hour." Lisa replied; the kids then look at their Digimon partners.
"What about them?" Clyde asked Seraphimon.
"I'm afraid you'll have to say goodbye to your partners." the archangel Digimon replied.
"WHAT?!" the kids replied.
"This is their world." said Seraphimon. "They don't belong in yours."
"It's not fair!" shouts Lola as she starts throwing food around, hitting just about everyone, except Angewomon who Rusty took a hit for.
"I know it's not right we have to say goodbye to our partners, Lola; but Seraphimon is right." Lincoln says as he hugs his younger, pageant-loving, sister. "But Seraphimon is right; our partners belong in this world, and we belong in ours." Lola cries, along with everyone else.
"Maybe Lisa can make a portal between our worlds and we can come here and visit." suggested Lana.
"I shall begin working on one the instant we return to our world." said Lisa.
"You better!" shouted Lola.
Later, with Lincoln and Agumon, they were hanging out together somewhere, going over their memories of when they first met.
"You shouted really loud when you first saw me." Agumon said with a laugh.
"Hey, I was just surprised." Lincoln said in a defensive manner. "I've never actually seen a Digimon before we first met."
"I'm just teasing." Agumon replied.
"I know." Lincoln said with a chuckle. "I remember when you first Digivolved into Koromon, and then to your current form, then GeoGreymon, then RizeGreymon, and finally, VictoryGreymon."
"We had a lot of battles." said Agumon. "At least it's finally over, and peace reigns in the Digital World."
"I'm just glad that me, along with my friends and sisters, were able to help." said Lincoln.
"I hope we see each other again soon." said Agumon.
At a forest, Clyde and Gaomon were walking down a path going through it.
"Remember when you first Digivolved here, Gaomon?" Clyde asked his partner.
"Yes; I couldn't let Woodmon harm you." replied Gaomon.
"I really appreciate that, Gaomon; you're a good Digimon." said Clyde.
"I had a good time by your side, Clyde; I really hope to you again soon after you leave." said Gaomon. Clyde smiles as tears formed in his eyes and he hugs Gaomon; he hugs Clyde back in response.
With Liam, he was at Floatia's garden, chatting with Kudamon.
"You really liked waking up at dawn to work the fields, Liam." said Kudamon as he and Liam looked across the garden.
"Sure did." replied Liam. "Remember when you took on that Flymon?"
"Yes; I know how much these crops meant to you, so I couldn't let Flymon do any damage to them." replied Kudamon.
"Sure hope to work on these fields again soon, but I always have the ones back home." replied Liam.
"We fought some good battles; never would have won them without you by my side." said Kudamon. Liam scratched the back of Kudamon's neck, who smiles in response.
With Rusty, he was talking with someone next to the party's buffet table, or what was left of it after Lola's rampage.
"I know we haven't known each other that long, but I'll never forget the day we first met." Rusty says. "I wil alway remember our times together, and hope to see you again real soon."
"That's nice, Rusty, but what about Elecmon?" Angewomon says to the lovestruck redhead.
"Who?" Rusty replied.
"Me!" Elecmon shouts before he zaps his partner with electricity.
"OW!" Rusty replied. "Don't be like that Elecmon, of course I'm gonna miss you."
"Really?" Elecmon replied with skepticism in his voice.
"Of course." said Rusty. "I remember when you first Digivolved into Leomon; I thought I was looking in a mirror for a while there."
"Get over yourself, Rusty." Stella says as she was hanging out with Lalamon.
"I'm going to miss your jokes towards that guy." said Lalamon. "And I still feel weird about how he was gawking at me when I first Digivolved to Lilamon."
"Yeah, at least Angewomon made him forget about her." said Stella. "And I definitely won't forget about you."
"And I'll always remember you, partner." Lalamon said before Stella hugs her.
With Zach, he and Gotsumon were saying their goodbyes to each other.
"I remember when you first Digivolved to EBEmon." said Zach. "I thought you looked really awesome."
"Thanks, partner." Gotsumon replied.
"If Lisa needs plutonium for that portal she plans on making, I'll get some from my folks." said Zach.
"Yeah, then we can visit each other anytime we want." said Gotsumon.
"That would be great." Zach says before he hugs his partner.
With Lori, she was hanging out with Pteromon in the shopping district.
"I, literally, can't believe we have to say goodbye, Pteromon." Lori says to her partner.
"Yeah, we only known each other for a few days." Pteromon replied. "If your sister makes that portal she planned on making; at least we'll be able to see each other again."
"That's, literally, true." said Lori. "I'll always remember you until then."
"Thanks, Lori." said Pteromon as she hugs Lori's leg; a fart sound was heard, making Lori's partner leap back. "What was that, and what's that smell?"
"That was my shoes." said Lori.
"You should get new ones if they're gonna keep doing that." suggested Pteromon.
"That is, literally, a good idea." said Lori with a sheepish grin on her face.
With Leni, she was crying as she hugged Luxmon as hard as she could.
"I'm, totes, going to miss you!" Leni says as she embraces her partner.
"I... will miss you also, Leni." Luxmon says as he struggles to breath.
"I hope we see each other again." Leni says as she continues to cry, making Luxmon shed a couple tears himself.
With Luna, she was strumming on her guitar without a lot of enthusiasm as Impmon sat next to her.
"It's bogus how we have to leave each other." said Luna. "If we ever see each other again, we should have a jam session."
"I could Digivolve to Loudmon and use my speakers to really make some noise." suggested Impmon.
"Yeah, you were so rockin when you first turned into him." said Luna.
"Maybe I can learn to play the guitar next time we meet." suggested Impmon.
"I'll definitely bring one for you." said Luna.
With Luan and Palmon, they were sitting next to one of Floatia's gardens while saying their goodbyes.
"I don't like that we have to 'leaf' each other." said Luan before she chuckles lightly.
"Don't be like that." said Palmon. "We'll be just 'vine' until we see each other again."
"Ha, ha, ha; that was a good one; I must be rubbing off on you." said Luan.
"Well, I was born from a part of you." said Palmon.
"Hope you didn't inherit her tendency to overdo it with pranks." said Lori from nearby.
"If she did, we'll be a good team on April Fools' Day." said Luan with a grin that made everyone else shudder.
With Lynn and Pulsemon, they were having a sparring session in Floatia's gym.
"Elec Rush!" shouts Pulsemon before he runs at Lynn with lightining fast speed and rams her hard enough to send her flying into a wall.
"OOF!" Lynn says on contact with the padded gym wall. "That was a good one, Pulsemon."
"Maybe I got my talent from you." suggested Pulsemon.
"Yeah." Lynn replied. "I plan on doing some training before we see each other again for a rematch."
"Yeah, maybe I'll actually break a sweat." Pulsemon replied as he wipes his knuckles on his chest.
"Oh, it will be on when we go one-on-one again." said Lynn.
With Lucy and Dracmon, they were sitting in a dark, secluded part of Floatia, brooding over them being seperated.
"Sigh." said Lucy.
"Sigh." said Dracmon.
"I will miss you, my friend." said Lucy.
"Us being apart is making me feel a dark, abysmal, void in my chest." said Dracmon.
"Deep." Lucy said. "I would like to see you if Lisa makes that portal."
"As would I." Dracmon replied. "Would you like me to be Myotismon for when that day arrives?"
"It doesn't matter to me, but I'm not saying I wouldn't mind it." said Lucy with a blush.
"We can hang out in the cemetery together." suggested Dracmon.
"That would also be good." said Lucy.
With the twins, they were hugging their partners as hard as they could while crying.
"I don't want to say goodbye!" said Lola.
"It's...okay, Lola." said Cutemon as she's being squeezed by her partner.
"I will make sure that Lisa finishes her portal!" said Lola.
"I'm gonna miss you, Betamon!" Lana says as she hugs her partner.
"I hope we see each other again." said Betamon as Lana nuzzles his cheek.
"Me, too!" said Lana. "Maybe we can play in the mud together when we do."
"I'm looking forward to it." replied Betamon.
With Lisa and Fanbeemon, they were in Floatia's research lab, where the former was writing calcuations and formulas on a whiteboard.
"I'll need plenty of plutonium if I'm going to make the portal work." said Lisa.
"Perhaps you could make another processor like the one that sent your brother and his friends to this world the first time they arrived." suggested Fanbeemon.
"That is a good idea." said Lisa. "You certainly are intelligent, my friend."
"I must've gotten it from you." suggested Fanbeemon.
"Perhaps." Lisa replied. "I'll need to do some tests to confirm that residual parts of my DNA resides within you."
"Would a stool sample help?" asked Fanbeemon.
"Perhaps." said Lisa. "It wouldn't hurt."
"What I do know for certain is that I'll miss you until you finish your portal." said Fanbeemon.
"As I will miss you, Fanbeemon." said Lisa. "Normally, I wouldn't show inane human emotions; but in this case..." Lisa suddenly cries before hugging her partner.
Wtih Lily, she was crying uncontrollably while hugging Bearmon.
"Wiwy don't want to weave!" said Lily.
"It's okay, Lily." Bearmon says to the youngest Loud sister. "We'll see each other again someday."
"Weawwy?!" Lily replied as her lips quiver and tears were in her eyes.
"Your sister is so smart." said Bearmon. "I know she'll find a way for you to come to this world so we can play some more."
"Wiwy hope so." Lily says as she wipes tears from her eyes.
"Children, it's time to go." Jijimon says from a beam of light that led up to the nearly closed hole in the sky.
"Okay." Lincoln sadly replied.
"Could someone get him off me?" Angewomon says as she points to Rusty as he was clinging to one of her legs.
"On it." said Lynn as she grabs the redhead, pries him off the angel Digimon's leg, and drags him towards the way back to the human world.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" shouts Rusty as his fingers scrap against the ground.
"Thanks for everything, Jijimon." Clyde says to the elder Digimon.
"We should be thanking you and your friends for saving our world." said Jijimon.
"We were, literally, glad to help." said Lori.
"I guess this is it." said Stella.
The kids hug their partners one last time, while Elecmon hugs Rusty as he tries to get back to Angewomon.
"Goodbye, everyone." said Lincoln.
"Bye!" all the Digimon who were in Floatia said as the kids each enter the beam of light, while Rusty had to be carried in by Lynn; soon, the kids rose up into the air and through the hole right before it closes completely.
One minute later, the kids appeared in Tall Timbers Park in a flash of light.
"Home sweet home." said Luna.
"Wish I was back in the Digital World with Angewomon." said Rusty with a huff.
"Get over it, Spokes." said Lynn.
"Lisa, hurry and make that portal so we can see our partners again!" said Lola.
"Yeah, Angewomon probably misses me badly right now." said Rusty.
"Sure, Rusty." Stella sarcastically says with an eyeroll.
"I shall begin immediately once we return home." said LIsa.
"I hope Mom and Dad aren't mad about us going to the Digital World when they didn't want us to." said Lana.
"I'm sure they got over it by now." said Lynn.
"Let's get going then." said Lori.
The next day, in the Loud house's attic; the Loud siblings were dusting every square inch of it.
"And after you get done in the attic, you can all clean the basement." said Rita with her arms crossed.
"That's right." said Lynn Sr. "You're all grounded for two weeks."
"C'mon, we had to go back to the Digital World to close the hole in the sky, Popstar." said Luna as she dusts an old mirror.
"Be that as it may, you went back when we said not to." said Rita; after the Loud parents exit the basement, Lisa sees some old radio parts and pockets them.
"I can use these to help make the portal." Lisa whispered.
"If you need plutonium, Zach says he can snag you some." Lincoln whispered to his genius sister.
"That would be much appreciated." Lisa whispered to her only brother.
"I don't hear dusting!" Rita shouts from the second floor.
"Sorry, Mom." the Loud kids say before they continue with their chore/punishment.
