Chapter 222 - Chapter 222: Stelle's Giggles and March 7th's Gloom

[As for the new character in the second half of the update, the Mysterious Blue-Haired Young Girl is a 5-star Ice-Attribute Erudition Path character.]

[There's not much to say about her. Her kit has both strengths and weaknesses, making her a fairly standard fictional counter card. However, since she's Ice-Attribute, she'll clash with the Jingliu combo, and currently, she doesn't offer a significant advantage over it.]

[Once Ice and Fire weaknesses are removed, the Mysterious Blue-Haired Young Girl's true potential will shine. Even with full Ice and Fire weaknesses, her Imaginary capabilities still surpass the Jingliu combo in the Simulated Universe.]

[Whether you pull for her is up to you. She's recommended for players who prioritize gameplay strength. If you can't clear the Simulated Universe, then pull for her. Who knows when the meta might suddenly shift?]

[However, a word of caution: unless the boss summons minions, the Mysterious Blue-Haired Young Girl is completely useless in the Forgotten Hall's pure single-target or dual-target scenarios.]

[Alright, once Lumina and the Mysterious Blue-Haired Young Girl are released, I'll create a detailed skill showcase and mechanics breakdown video. That concludes today's preview analysis. Farewell!]

With those final words, the video came to an end.

"Hmm~"

After watching the video, Lumina browsed through a few more clips until night completely fell. Through the window, she gazed at the moon hanging high in the sky before putting her phone away.

Walking to the bed, she drew the curtains shut, lay back down, pulled up the covers, closed her eyes, and drifted into slumber...

"March, Stelle, Little Swarm, how was your rest last night?"

Early that morning, to cultivate a perfect Saintess image for March 7th and the others, Lumina reluctantly rose from her plush bed and returned to the hotel where they had arrived the previous night.

As soon as she entered the hotel, she saw March 7th, Stelle, and Little Swarm emerging from the VIP passage, escorted by the hotel boss, who was practically oozing obsequious respect.

Under this deferential treatment, March 7th and Stelle reacted in starkly different ways.

March 7th wore an expression of palpable discomfort, flashing awkward smiles and waving her hands dismissively at each ingratiating gesture from the hotel boss.

Stelle, on the other hand, stood tall and proud, her chest puffed out, a faint smile playing at the corner of her lips, clearly relishing the fawning attention.

"Sister Lumina, you're here!"

Hearing that familiar voice, Lumina looked up to see her "Sister Lumina" standing at the hotel entrance.

March 7th's face lit up like she'd spotted a savior. She grinned, bounced with joy, and waved enthusiastically.

Acknowledging March 7th's greeting, Lumina strode over to them.

"Lady Lumina!"

The hotel boss, who had been fawning over March 7th and Stelle just moments before, immediately shifted his sycophantic attention to Lumina upon her arrival, lowering himself even further in obsequious deference.

Lumina gave the boss a slight nod before turning her gaze to March 7th and the others, her face breaking into a warm smile as she asked:

"Little March, Stelle, Little Swarm, how was your rest last night?"

"Aside from a few... ahem, things, it was pretty great," March 7th replied, glancing at the hotel boss beside her and scratching her cheek with an embarrassed smile.

Sensing the unspoken meaning behind her words, the shrewd hotel boss feigned ignorance, though he clearly understood what she meant.

While the pink-haired girl clearly wasn't entirely comfortable with the fawning, the gray-haired girl seemed to relish it. Ever eager to please, the boss maintained a delicate balance, ensuring his flattery didn't anger March 7th while still pleasing Stelle.

"I'm super satisfied!" Just as the boss had anticipated, Stelle, thoroughly immersed in the experience, stood with her hands on her hips, striking a pose that radiated pure satisfaction.

As for Little Swarm, she stretched out a claw and scratched her head, looking as if she hadn't rested at all the previous night.

Observing their reactions, Lumina nodded with a smile, then turned to the hotel boss and waved her hand dismissively.

"Boss, may I have the bill?"

"This... Lady Lumina, you know..." The hotel owner had initially felt a surge of joy under Lumina's gaze, but her words instantly plunged him into awkwardness.

"You've contributed so much to Apricot Grove. Not only would I never charge you for letting your friends stay one night in the World Suite, I'd permanently grant them its use and management rights without asking for a single coin..."

"Alright then." Lumina nodded, accepting his reluctance. She turned to March 7th and the others, saying, "I need to discuss something with you. Let's talk outside."

Before they could respond, Lumina turned and left the hotel.

Without hesitation, the group followed Lumina out of the hotel.

As for the hotel owner, a man who had risen to such a position naturally understood that Lumina had urgent matters to discuss with March 7th and the others. With keen insight, he watched them leave the hotel, his gaze following them until they disappeared from sight.
