Huo Yunxiao returned to the old house and found Huo Tianlin sitting in the study. He was wearing a short-sleeved shirt, and the wound on his arm had been treated and wrapped in gauze without any blood seeping out. Wen Shuangqi was sitting on the side, her eyes swollen, indicating that she had been crying.
"Mom," Huo Yunxiao called her as he walked in.
Wen Shuangqi immediately covered up her sadness and said, "Yunxiao, you're back. You should talk to your father. I'll go lie down for a while."
Saying that, Wen Shuangqi left the study as if she was escaping. Huo Yunxiao closed the door and looked at Huo Tianlin's pale face, asking, "Did my mom cry?"
Huo Tianlin nodded. "Yes, she cried when she was worried. But she'll be fine soon."
Huo Yunxiao frowned and said, "She's worried about you and sad. She didn't divorce you because she's soft-hearted, and everyone came to her. She's been through a lot."
