Chapter 566 - 566 Lady Morgan, I've Come to Negotiate!

Though it was rather mischievous, Wayne still agreed to the twins' request. They could report to the Ministry of Magic after handling their joke shop affairs.

Despite their unreliable appearance, their flexible minds were exactly what the rigid Ministry employees needed.

Combined with his connections, it wouldn't take long for them to climb above Percy.

After circling the village, Cedric went home with his parents, and Wayne prepared to leave, too.

"Remember to save me a copy of the photos," Wayne said finally, uttering words nobody else understood before waving and Apparating away.

"What photos?" Percy asked urgently after he left. "Do you need my help?"

"We do, of course we do," Fred grinned like a blooming flower. "But it's not time yet. You'll need to cooperate properly when the time comes, Percy."

Overjoyed, Percy nodded repeatedly. "No problem, I'll definitely cooperate."

The twins exchanged smiles and celebrated with a high-five.

Meanwhile, Wayne went home first and stayed for a while, only sneaking into Sakura's residence late at night.

Sakura still lived with her parents, and only now could it be considered safe.

Fortunately, Sakura stayed up rather late. When Wayne secretly climbed through the window, she was organising the alchemical knowledge she'd learned from Nicolas Flamel that day, recording it in notes for future review.

She was stunned when Wayne came in.

"Wayne, why didn't you just Apparate directly into the room? Climbing through the window is so dangerous."

Sakura's family lived in a three-story detached villa, with her room on the third floor.

"You don't understand, climbing in feels more exciting," Wayne chuckled and embraced the sweet, soft woman.

With no one else around, Sakura wasn't as shy, though her pretty face still felt warm as she quietly snuggled deeper into the young man's embrace.

"How have your studies been going lately?" Wayne asked with concern.

"Mr Nicolas Flamel teaches very well, but I'm just too slow," Sakura said apologetically.

She had learned much from Nicolas, but the more she studied, the more she realised how much she still lacked.

"You're already very clever, no need to rush."

"But I want to be helpful to you. There's so much of the floating city blueprints I can't understand," Sakura said somewhat dejectedly.

Wayne comforted her, "That's advanced technology from a magical civilisation. It's not something easily mastered. Take your time - someday you'll be able to build your own floating city."

Sakura shook her head sweetly. "I don't want that. Wouldn't it be fine to live with you in the future?"

Silly girl.

Wayne just smiled at her expression and didn't continue the topic. Before long, Sakura, held in Wayne's arms, began feeling drowsy and unknowingly fell asleep.

When she woke the next morning, she found herself still lying in Wayne's embrace.

Though she had slept deeply through until morning, Sakura had successfully... developed a stiff neck.

Sleeping in someone else's arms wasn't really a comfortable position - it was just that the emotional value masked the discomfort.

Fortunately, magic was miraculous enough to quickly cure it, sparing Sakura much suffering.

The weekend passed in a flash, and the Olympian delegation also left Britain.

The next day, the Tribe wizards who had been confronting each other in Egypt withdrew to their own countries, and Dumbledore also left with the Alliance personnel, turning the area into a buffer zone between the two sides.

Athena's successful peace negotiations earned her praise from Zeus, and Andros didn't report her.

After speaking with Wayne on Sunday night, he resolved to abandon the dark side for the light. However, Olympus had shown him kindness, so Andros wouldn't directly turn against them. Instead, he would help Wayne eliminate the other divine realms.

He understood that today's orderly society was far superior to ancient times. If the world were truly ruled by divine realms, it would revert to the state where human life was as cheap as grass.

In his era, the constant wars between ancient Greek city-states were shadowed by the divine realms behind them.

Wayne didn't actually care about Andros's power; he was only willing to lend a hand because he felt some goodwill toward him because of his template and personality.

As the conflicts subsided, the world's situation gradually stabilised.

Wayne also felt assured enough to search for the core of the Water Elemental Plane, finally succeeding in finding and refining it after a month, thus gaining complete control over the Water Elemental Plane.

Just like the Fire Elemental Plane, the core of the Water Elemental Plane also had a guardian, whom he subdued and named Neptulon the Tidehunter.

Neptulon's combat power was somewhat poor compared to Ragnaros, but he was more troublesome and annoying. Anywhere there was water, he could endlessly draw upon water elements to heal his injuries and replenish his strength.

Wayne only managed to defeat him by using his Domain to isolate his absorption ability.

"With the elemental planes dealt with, it's time to handle Morgan..." Wayne thought it over and still brought Astoria back into the suitcase.

The curse on the Greengrass family was Morgan's doing. If he was going to kill Morgan, it would be better to bring Astoria along.

"Wayne." After arriving, without even asking why she had been summoned, Astoria immediately threw herself into his arms.

Wayne smiled and ruffled her hair.

Among all the girls, each gave him a different feeling.

Cho was gentle like water; whenever they were together, it was always very peaceful and comfortable. She would surely make a virtuous wife.

Hermione had a bit of a wild girlfriend vibe; the little witch had quite a temper, but the contrast when she was shy or admitting fault was also very endearing.

Nagini was the caring big sister who could always tolerate him and silently give, no matter what.

Grace was more like Wayne's soulmate; when they were together, they never lacked topics to discuss.

Only Astoria was someone Wayne treated like a daughter. Astoria would always support him unconditionally and was absolutely obedient, truly the world's most thoughtful little comforter.

Now that his 'good daughter' had suffered so many years because of Morgan's curse, he would definitely help her get even.

After Wayne finished explaining the whole story, Astoria was silent for a moment, then hugged him tightly.

"Wayne, maybe we should just forget about it."

"Why?" Wayne looked at her in surprise.

Why would she react like this?

He had imagined Astoria being angry, scared, even terrified, but he never expected her to give up on revenge.

"You're already under enough pressure; it's not worth making another enemy for no reason," Astoria said softly. "Didn't you already lift my blood curse for me? No one can truly explain the feud between my ancestors and Morgan. Better to avoid trouble than invite it—let's just pretend it never happened."

Wayne immediately understood Astoria's perspective. While touched, he also found it somewhat amusing.

"Is this something you should be worrying about? Since I told you about it, I'm confident I can permanently eliminate her."

"Isn't it better to deal with it now rather than wait until she discovers the blood curse has been lifted and tries to ambush me later?"

Astoria froze for a moment, then pondered with her not-so-clever little brain. It did seem to make sense.

"Well... alright then, I'll follow your lead. I'm fine with whatever you decide."

"Give me one more week, then. I'll make some additional preparations before we set off."

"Mm."

Over the course of the week, Wayne prepared all his contingency measures.

His focus wasn't primarily on Morgan herself, but rather on Avalon.

Facing a spatial artefact capable of freely shifting locations, Wayne remained cautious—either he wouldn't act at all, or he would strike with overwhelming force.

He converted all the points he'd accumulated this semester into shop credits, exchanging them for the Twisted Space ability of Veigar. Then he diligently practised the spatial locking technique that came with his divination technique.

...

After ensuring everything was foolproof, he finally brought Astoria to the Arctic.

Wayne and Astoria materialised before an utterly unremarkable lake.

"This is the legendary Avalon?" The wealthy young girl asked incredulously. "It looks like it's about to dry up completely."

"Just camouflage. You have to admit, this Morgan is quite interesting—lying low all this time without anyone realising she possesses a realm comparable to a divine domain."

Wayne produced the Void Staff, its entire body purple and crowned with a withered orb.

This was undoubtedly a supreme artifact—capable of not only piercing through enemy defenses but even tearing through space itself with tremendous power.

Dozens of pillars, emitting sinister energy, rose around the lake, distorting the surrounding space, before locking it.

After completing all preparations, he raised his wand and made a forceful slashing motion.

Instantly, a spatial portal radiating colourful light appeared before them.

...

Meanwhile, inside Avalon...

The moment Wayne forcibly tore through space, Morgan immediately sensed something wrong and tried to flee with Avalon. But to her astonishment, she discovered the external space seemed to have been frozen—she couldn't even shift her spatial coordinates.

Before she could process this further, Wayne's cheerful voice reached Morgan's ears.

"Lady Morgan, I've come to negotiate terms!"

Morgan's face paled dramatically.

Damn it, how did this calamity find me?

Shortly after the voice faded, Wayne already descended into Morgan's flower field with Astoria in tow.

The surrounding flower fairies scattered in terror, their floral faces blanching as they fluttered their tiny wings and hid fearfully behind Morgan.

"Lady Morgan, it's been a while," Wayne greeted with a smile.

"Lawrence, I certainly didn't invite you here." Morgan's expression was foul. "Forcing your way into someone's home - you shouldn't be that rude."

"No choice. If I didn't do this, I might never get into Avalon in my lifetime."

Wayne glanced around and nodded with satisfaction. "This place is quite nice, suitable for placing in the backyard as a garden. What do you think, Astoria?"

"I think it's lovely too. Gardevoir would definitely like it." The wealthy young girl responded obediently.

Their complete disregard for her presence thoroughly angered Morgan. With a cold expression, she rose from her throne and produced a sceptre.

"Lawrence, I know you have grievances with Slytherin, but what does that have to do with me?"

"When he came to see me last time, I didn't even meet him. Yet you're being so aggressive - isn't this going too far!"

Wayne paused. "Slytherin came to see you?"

He truly hadn't known about this.

Morgan also froze. "You're not here to confront me because of Slytherin?"

"Of course not. How would I know he visited you?"

Morgan was stunned. Had she just confessed unnecessarily?

"Then what do you want?" Morgan forced composure. "I don't want to get involved in your conflicts. I just want to protect my Avalon."

"It's not about my conflict with Slytherin, but about the matter between you and me."

Wayne took the wealthy young girl's small hand. "Let me introduce you - Astoria Greengrass, my fiancée."

"So what?" Morgan frowned, not understanding what Wayne was trying to say.

"You might not be familiar with the Greengrass surname, but you must know their ancestors well."

The smile slowly faded from Wayne's face. "They are descendants of King Arthur, and victims of your malicious curse."

Morgan trembled, her gaze snapping sharply toward Astoria.
