LUCIUS' POV.
I stood there with anger burning in my heart as my claws were halfway out, rage was boiling in my veins. The sight of Logan holding Diana, sleeping so peacefully beside her, made my wolf howl with fury inside me.
My breath came out sharp, uneven. I could almost feel my claws itching to sink into his throat.
Just as I took a step forward, ready to tear him apart not minding to just end his life and then the door opened.
A soft gasp filled the air. It was her…the woman I'd seen several times hanging around Logan. A pretty brunette, always smiling like she owned every room she entered. Her presence cut through the tension instantly, and I forced my claws to retract before she noticed. I turned my face away quickly, shoving down the growl that nearly escaped my lips.
"Alpha Lucius," she said with a polite bow, "good morning."
