When the time came to November 11, X784, Anima, who had been waiting for so long, finally arrived.
"Is this Anima? How scary."
"Turning everything into magic crystals and storing them… buildings, people, everything."
"The whole city has twisted and disappeared!"
Inside the Fairy Tail guild, everyone was staring in shock at the distorted world outside the windows.
"Okay, it's our turn next."
Caesar said, "Everyone gather at Fairy Tail in Edolas. After gathering, we'll begin the plan. Do you understand?"
"Oh!"
As the response echoed, a brilliant light burst from everyone's bodies. As Anima activated, they all turned into light and rushed toward the massive portal.
…
Edolas.
When Caesar opened his eyes again, he found himself in a forest, with two people beside him — Mirajane and Lucy.
"Everyone's been scattered," Mirajane said, looking around. "Fortunately, we landed in a forest, not the sky, the sea, or inside a volcano."
"Sister Mira, please don't say such terrifying things in that calm voice!" Lucy trembled and looked at Caesar. "Caesar, how do we leave here?"
"I'll take you there. Hold on to my clothes. I still remember the aura of Fairy Tail in this world."
Caesar spoke and drew out Kakarot's card.
Seeing this, Mirajane and Lucy quickly grabbed Caesar's divine robe.
In the next moment, Caesar took them and teleported. When they reappeared, they were already outside a guild building made from a giant tree.
Those who had arrived earlier — or simply had better luck — were Natsu, Wendy, Happy, and Charle.
Sure enough, no matter how lucky others might be, no one could outdo the protagonist's luck.
"Caesar!"
"Brother Caesar!"
Natsu and Wendy ran over. Mirajane and Lucy stared at the tree-shaped building in awe.
"Is this Fairy Tail of Edolas?"
The noise outside drew attention from inside the guild. Two figures rushed out menacingly.
"Who dares cause trouble in front of our guild?!"
"Huh?! Jade and Troy!" Natsu's eyes widened at the sight of the two.
"You are… Natsu? Wait, that's not right… and… Big Brother?!"
The two looked at Natsu and the others with tense expressions.
But when their eyes landed on Caesar, clad in his imperial robe, they trembled subconsciously. The shadow Caesar had cast on them before wasn't so easily forgotten.
"Hey, we're just visiting again," Caesar said casually. "By the way, call out your guild members too."
Without waiting for a reply, Caesar walked inside like he owned the place.
The two quickly followed, not daring to delay.
Inside, the guild members drinking together froze when they saw Caesar. Then they noticed the people following him — and were even more stunned.
"Myself?"
Lucy, Wendy, and Mirajane from Edolas all stared wide-eyed at their counterparts.
"Wait, she's tiny!"
The older Wendy from Edolas looked at the smaller Wendy and commented bluntly.
And Wendy, staring at her grown-up version, had tears in her eyes.
Can I really grow into that?
Right then, Wendy wanted nothing more than to ask about her diet and training routine.
"Hey, why are you here again? Is Lisanna okay?"
The delinquent-looking Lucy from Edolas asked sharply.
"Wow… that version of me…" Lucy muttered, face twitching.
"Lisanna's fine. Don't worry."
Caesar smiled, then glanced at Mirajane. The two Mirajanes were already chatting happily, getting along surprisingly well.
"You guys talk. I'll go pick up the rest."
Caesar sighed. With so many members arriving, the transportation load was intense.
He teleported again and again, retrieving guildmates scattered across Edolas and bringing them back.
Before long, Fairy Tail's Edolas guild was packed — far too small to fit nearly three hundred members.
The Edolas guild members stared enviously at their Aslant counterparts, amazed by their size and strength.
But when they saw how different their personalities were, their worldviews began to crack.
Gray finally understood why Caesar had laughed so hard last time he came back.
He glared at his Edolas self, wanting nothing more than to strangle him.
Juvia hid nearby, torn on who to support.
"Mr. Gray from this world is so bold…"
She blushed, already daydreaming about a married life with him.
Lisanna, meanwhile, was thrilled both guilds were her family, and she couldn't be happier.
"All right," said Makarov, standing tall. "Caesar, what's the situation?"
"At present, everyone's gathered," Caesar replied. "Mistgun has already gone to the palace. Once he sends word, I'll take a few people and capture the emperor of Edolas. Without his command, Mistgun can control the palace's power freely."
He continued, "When everything's ready, it'll be our turn. Mistgun will reverse Anima and send all of Edolas's remaining magic into Aslant. Then we'll pretend to be defeated by him, so he becomes the hero who saved the world — and can keep living with the people."
"Okay then, Master Shodai," Makarov said, looking toward Mavis. "After this, we'll need your help."
"Well… I don't like it much," Mavis said with a grin, dangling her feet from the table. "But if it comes to war, I won't lose."
She was secretly excited — she wanted to see how Fairy Tail would shine this time.
…
In the Kingdom of Edolas.
Mistgun tore off his mask and cloak, leaving his outfit to Jellal of Aslant.
In Edolas, he was Jellal — and Jellal would become Mistgun.
"The prince has returned!"
When he stepped into the palace, the shocked guards immediately reported to Faust.
The old emperor, known for his greed and harsh rule, sat on his throne and glared coldly at the approaching Jellal.
To Aslant, he was a tyrant. To Edolas, he was a dedicated ruler who had worked his entire life for his kingdom — though his methods were deeply flawed.
