Today lot of students were gathered outside to help set up the tournament where the schedule looked like this:
Class 1 - Mini Game: 09:00 at 3rd September/ Tournament: 10:00 at 4th September
Class 2 - Mini Game: 09:15 at 4th September/ Tournament: 10:15 at 5th September
Class 3 - Mini Game: 09:30 at 5th September/ Tournament: 10:30 at 6th September
Class 4 - Mini Game: 09:45 at 6th September/ Tournament: 10:45 at 7th September
Class 5 - Mini Game: 10:00 at 7th September/ Tournament: 11:00 at 8th September
"Do you think we should give the tourney a try?" Alya asked while she sat on the bench with Cinister and Ragna while giving them both ice creams
"Isn't that obvious?" Cinister responded as he licked the blueberry ice cream "We need to see how much we have grown"
"I don't care much for it I just wanna find the Sword of Devotion" Ragna said as he took a bite out of his chocolate chip ice cream
"You take bites out of your ice cream" Alya said "Kinda weird if you ask me"
"It's not weird" Ragna immediately shot back "It's innovative"
"Whatever guys come on we have to lock in and win this tournament" Cinister said as he stood up
"Calm down, we are here to relax and have a good time" Ragna replied as he laid on the bench and his feet on the arm rest
"Ragna I came to the Tower to find out what or who killed my parents" Cinister snapped back
"Dude my parents are also missing but I don't make a fuss about" Ragna said as he got a bit more serious
"If you were my friend you would help me but no you stay here and wine about a stupid sword we won't be able to find!" Cinister shouted with a bit of anger in his voice
"Oh then just go and find your dead parents!" Ragna clapped back
"Fine since I will go and train and when the tournament comes I will beat you so bad you will see why I'm the leader" Cinister declared as he stormed off
"Oh yeah then I will also do the same!" Ragna said as he went in the other direction
"Do they always act like that?" Enots asked Alya as he came with a strawberry ice cream
"Those two are strong but insanely stupid" Alya responded "Also when did you get here?"
"Well I was walking when I heard Cinister scream out of no where" Enots answered
"I wouldn't worry about it but who do you think will win?" Alya questioned as she got up from the bench
"Probably Ragna I mean I can feel his aura" he gave his opinion
"Nah I know Cini will win because his Nexus control is out of this world plus" She said
"But what if he fought someone with the same Nexus as him?" He muttered under his noise "When you encounter an enemy with the same Nexus. Most people just use their weapons but he doesn't have one" Enots interrupted her
"It doesn't matter if Cini fought someone with the same Nexus" Alya replied "The Ignivar will always obey him no matter if it's his own or his enemies' "
"I would pay to see that" Enots laughed as him and Alya headed back to their classrooms
5 minutes later
In the Academy there is a Gym room where anyone is welcomed and Cinister entered it expecting to find someone
"Hey Draen" Cinister greeted him "I want you to help me with this tournament"
"Why would I do that?" Draen said as he came down from the pull up bar "You know I'm not you're teache-" he got cut off
"I don't care I know you teach Ragna plus your the only one that can beat me" Cinister persisted
"You're naive to think that I will help you and besides didn't that kid Pluto beat you" Draen said as he got on the pull up bar
"What if I beat you in a game of rock paper scissors?" Cinister proposed an idea
Draen stopped pulling himself on the bar and slowly looked at him "HAHAHA! You're funny kid but what makes you think I will play a child game"
"So you're admitting defeat before trying?" Cinister started ragebaiting him "I don't think you're fit to teach"
"Reverse psychology?" he calmly asked as he came down from the bar "Okay I choose rock"
As he said that he punched Cinister in the gut sending him flying against the wall
Cinister immediately coughed up blood
"Fine kid you caught my interest but first I want you to endure 2 more of my punches" Draen said as he prepared his second punch
"Shit!" Cinister said as he tried to cast [Ashen Veil]
"Too slow," the teacher said as he punched him a second time.
This time breaking his rib cage
Cinister's vision started to get blurry but he got up on his feet once again
"Wow you're still standing?" Draen asked in a silly tone as he picked up a boxing glove
"I guess it's time I punch you for real" his voice now serious and deep
Cinister saw how Draen teleported from his position to him.
CRACK
A huge crater appeared on the wall beside it the scaler's was laying on the floor as a pool of blood formed around him
"Welll I guess that's it" Draen said as he took off the boxing glove which was torn up from his punch
"Where the hell do you think you're going" Cinister voiced pierced through the room
"Oh so you can still move?" Draen said as he turned around and saw how Cinister jumped at him preparing to punch him
BUT
Draen instinctively dodged making Cinister fly by and hit the wall on impact
"You deserve one more punch" Draen said as he walked up and punched Cinister again
FWOOSH
Cinister body or should I say the [Vex Flame] dissolved into flames leaving Draen vulnerable
"As I said" Cinister said as he held his bloody hand up casting [Fire Gun 300%] "You will teach me"
The Fire Gun hit Draen in the back but it only burned his gym uniform a bit
"Fine I guess you win this time" he said as he looked at Cinister who fell unconscious on the floor
We cut to Ragna who had wandered off into the Land of the beasts which was out of the Academy's range meaning if he needed help no one would be able to rescue him
"I'm killing two birds with one stone" Ragna said as he jumped on a 30m tree and searched the leaves "I get battle experience while fighting monsters and searching"
"GRRR" a wolf growled at Ragna symbolising for him to get down from there
"Wel I guess I could try this move after all" Ragna jumped down with his sword in his sheath
"Cross Ragna!" he said as in a single second he slashed the wolf with precision and turned him into the equivalent of sashimi
The wolf died instantly with no way to dodge or block
"Maybe slicing that tree 5000 times was indeed worth it" Ragna said as he put the sword back in his sheath
ZAP
"[Bubble]" Ragna parried a lightning bolt sending it straight back at the mysterious thing in the dark
"A parry? And the attack is twice as strong" A white haired man with messy hair covering his eyes and wearing a medieval outfit.You could see multiple scars across his face and an eyepath peeking through his hair. He was holding a claymore in his left hand.
"Who are you?" Ranga asked as he used [Thunder Encloakment]
"Wow I am in the presence of an Eldritch? You could say I am a humble traveler looking for my pet wolf" the man informs him "have you seen him"
"A humble traver doesn't go attacking random people in the forest so what's your business" Ragna said as he extended his encloakment towards him
The man smirked as he dashed past Ragna, leaving a scar on his cheek
"Älright you got me I am the man who protects the forest from people who come here to attack the creatures here"
"You think a little scar is going to stop me from killing them?" Ragna said as he swung his sword towards him "I got a little note for you"
"Hm?" the man looked confused as he used [Thunder Clones] to summon two identical copies of himself
"Thunder Encloakment is a move I trained against the tree so yeah" he said "[Thunder Encloakment mastery 2]"
The encloakment became purple and it shot out faster then lighting killing one of the clones
"Did you know?" the man said as he pulled out his claymore "I could have killed you 3 times"
"Hu-" Ragna got cut of as in a split second the claymore was to his neck
"You better run Ragna" the man said
We cut back to Cinister who is currently being held by Draen in a huge room where there is a training area, a lot of bookshelfs, TV's with playstations, couches, an old looking table with 6 seats with a black haired boy sitting, weapon racks and so much more
He wakes up just to see how Maryline and a gyaru looking girl with yellow hair and weird clothing, are fighting barehanded
"Huh where am I?" Cinister asked as he jumped out Draen's grasp
"This is the student council!" Draen introduced
"Who is this new cute boy!?" The gyaru immediately stopped fighting Maryline and hugged Cinister
"Can you please let go?" Cinister asked as he tried to push her off
"Hey it's been a while" Maryline said as she took a sip out of her Pepsi "And no disrespect but why are you here?"
"I don't know ask this big gorilla why I'm here" Cinister said as he still pushing the gyaru away
"You guys will be training him until the tournament" Draen said with an enthusiastic voice
"Absolutely not" The boy that was sitting on the table and Maryline said in sync
"Sorry you need to, otherwise I will disqualify you from the event" Draen said as he left the room
"Kaecha please train him for me" Maryline said as she left the room and sighed
"Okie dokie!" the gyaru finally let go of Cinister and took him to the training room
As both of them got to the room the scaler wanted to ask her something
"So why is there 6 seats but 3 members and why are they so cold?" Cinister asked as he looked at the weapons
"Oh? Three of our members are working hard on the event and well Maryline and Luck are always this cold" Kaecha said as she took the daggers from the weapon rack
"But the boy looks kinda weird" Cinister pointed out
"Don't worry about it" she said as she got in her position "Get your weapon and let's see what you got!!"
"I don't use weapons" Cinister said "I'm like being bare handed"
"Okie!" she replied "Let's start!"
When the battle started her tone became from happy and cheerful to serious and scary as she quickly zipped towards Cinister
"[Mixed Nex-]"
SLASH
Cinster's body shut down as he fell to the floor face first
"Aw I think I went to far sowwy about that" she said as she used a potion to heal him up
"AHHH!" Cinister quickly got up and started breathing heavily "I thought I died"
"Yeah my bad" Kaecha apologies as she stick out her tongue "I have a lot of work to do"
We cut to Ragna who is sitting on the white haired man with his sword to his neck
"Nice fight I kinda liked it" Ragna said as he got up from him
"Who said we were done?" the man said as he pushed Ragna away and got up from the ground and cleared the dust from his shirt
"You already showed me all of your abilities and [Bubble] countered everything"
"Everything huh?" the man said as he focused all of his Nexus "[Mixed Nexus]"
Ragna eyes widened in that exact moment
TOWER OF SCALING: ADDITIONAL FLOOR
While Cinister and Ragna were arguing on that bench Choi and Scrappy just happened to see them
"Yo, isn't it crazy how they are arguing about their family issues while eating ice cream?" Choi asked
"Bro leave them be you know how they can be." Scrappy answered
"Wait, are you actually mature?" Choi said
"Oh shut up" Scrappy replied
