Urahara Kisuke still looked amused, his voice carrying its usual ease. "It's been a long time, Mr. Moyu."

Moyu exhaled helplessly. "It's been less than two months. And next time I catch you spectating while I fight, I'll beat you up as well."

The threat carried no jest, yet Urahara's grin only widened. "If you meet enemies that even you cannot handle, then there is little I can do." His hat dipped slightly as he surveyed the devastated ruins that had been Naruki City, eyes narrowing behind the shadow. "Still… what a terrifying display of power."

Far away in Las Noches, Aizen sat composed upon his throne, wine glass swirling lazily in his hand. Beneath him lay Ulquiorra and Grimmjow, both kneeling, both broken. Their bodies bore grotesque decay, the rot spreading upward from the hollow holes in their chests, eating away as if gnawed by unseen fangs.

At the side of the hall stood a heavy presence—an old king in a tattered mantle. Espada Segunda, former ruler of Hueco Mundo, Baraggan Louisenbairn. His voice rumbled like grinding stone. "This strange power resembles mine. Even after preparing so many measures, to return in such misery?"

Aizen's glass stilled. Ulquiorra lowered his head, his tone hushed. "Forgive me, Lord Aizen. I failed you."

"There is no need," Aizen said softly, rising to his feet and descending the steps. "You performed well." His hands extended, resting lightly above the two Espada.

Color bloomed in the chamber—shimmering hues like a rainbow piercing storm clouds. They fell upon Grimmjow and Ulquiorra's ruined bodies, clashing against the lingering black winds of Moyu's decay. For a time their chests became a battlefield, torn between corrosion and rebirth. Agony contorted their faces.

Then, mercifully, the struggle ended.

Aizen's voice drifted quiet, thoughtful. "So this is Moyu's power, after stepping beyond. As expected, it surpasses predictions. Ninety percent of Szayelaporro's framework has lost value."

Ulquiorra's body began to knit back together, though his pallor deepened. The strain of expending so much reiatsu left his frame trembling. When he finally stood, he spoke evenly. "Lord Aizen, the void barrier retains some effect."

"Is that so?" Aizen's brows arched faintly. "Then it seems we must make adjustments… slight changes to the plan."

Back in the human world, at Urahara's shop, Rangiku Matsumoto sat across from the ex-captain. His explanations had been brief, but enough to win her tentative trust. Even so, suspicion lingered in her eyes. The memory of Kurotsuchi Mayuri left her wary of any Twelfth Division captain, former or not.

"Arrancar raids in the living world, the sudden chaos of hollows," Urahara said, fingers steepled beneath his chin, expression uncharacteristically grave. "Even for me, the cause is unclear. Tessai and I have investigated multiple cities. The pattern is not the same as before. The number of Menos remains within threshold, yet the presence of Adjuchas and Arrancar has surged far past expectation. Judging from Aizen's movements, it seems highly likely this is both distraction and preparation."

"Preparation?" Rangiku echoed, startled.

His eyes rose, glinting beneath the brim of his hat. "Preparation concerning Mr. Moyu. I keep informed of events in Seireitei. A slash across the world… tsk, tsk." His tone shifted into a note of awe. "Without measures tailored to him, Aizen's next steps cannot proceed."

Rangiku's expression grew thoughtful. She recalled the sight at Naruki's edge—the one-sided destruction, Moyu's power overwhelming Espada as if it were nothing. Against captains, against forces beyond captains, he crushed without effort.

"These are details," Moyu said, cutting through her reflection. He opened his palm, displaying the fractured construct he had seized. "According to Ulquiorra, this is called a Void Enchantment. Within it, Arrancar gain more than threefold amplification."

Urahara accepted the fragment, turning it in his hand with keen interest. The construction of the barrier resembled the remnants of Hachigen's Kidō—capable of preserving spirit particle phenomena in stable form, infinitely adaptable.

"In addition," Moyu continued, "they employed another method called Reiatsu Collapse. It unravels reiatsu itself. From what I've seen, even a captain's strength might not withstand it."

The weight of his words sank into the room, casting a shadow across their faces.

At length, Urahara lifted his head, eyes sharpened. "Then it seems I must return to Seireitei. The devices here are insufficient. To unravel the workings of the Void Enchantment requires deeper research."
