Suddenly, Iruka suffered a crushing blow. For an instant, he froze, overwhelmed by the scene before him, but he quickly steadied himself, forcing his mind to recover at the fastest possible pace.
He struck again toward Moyu. Yet Moyu still didn't retaliate. "Teacher, please—stop first. Let me explain."
From beginning to end, Moyu had no intention of quarreling with Iruka. He had never once thought of harming Naruto or Uchiha Sasuke. All he wanted now was to clear this senseless misunderstanding as soon as possible.
"What is there to explain?" Iruka snapped, eyes blazing. "I will never let you harm my students!"
Iruka refused to believe him. The Moyu before him looked like a threat—someone who needed to be subdued immediately before things spiraled out of control.
Moyu almost wanted to cry. Why wouldn't Iruka believe him?
Even as Iruka lunged again, Moyu only dodged—side to side, evading every strike without countering once. It was clear he had no desire to injure his teacher.
But as Iruka pressed on, doubt began to stir. Something felt wrong. Why did Moyu never strike back? Could it be… he had truly misunderstood him?
Then he glanced at the two students behind Moyu. Naruto and Sasuke stood there, unharmed. As a teacher, Iruka's first instinct had always been to protect them—but perhaps this time, things weren't as he imagined.
Moyu sidestepped another blow and exhaled sharply. "If you keep this up, don't blame me for being rude!"
He didn't want to fight, but neither would he keep being cornered. Constantly dodging solved nothing. It was better to stop the conflict altogether—to make Iruka listen, even if by force, and then talk it through calmly.
"I won't back down!" Iruka declared, voice firm with conviction. "I'll protect my students, no matter what!"
Moyu couldn't help but respect that resolve—even as he felt bitterly helpless. "Then at least listen first," he muttered, half to himself.
Left with no choice, he turned toward Naruto and Sasuke. "You two, help me explain!"
Naruto blinked, momentarily dazed, then quickly understood. "Teacher Iruka! Moyu isn't a bad guy! He's just teaching us how to control our chakra!"
His words burst out like a flash of light—direct and earnest.
Even Sasuke, calm and cold as ever, nodded in agreement. "He's right. Moyu's lesson is only about making us stronger. There's no other intention behind it."
Naruto added firmly, "Teacher, please—don't misunderstand Moyu anymore."
