"Professor McGonagall, I have nothing more to ask you," Dudley stood up and said.
"Are you really going to interrogate Malfoy?" Professor McGonagall asked with a frown.
"They are indeed quite suspicious," Dudley said with conviction.
"Alright, but you need to be careful. Although Professor Dumbledore gave you the authority to interrogate, Lucius Malfoy is very powerful and is one of the members of the Board of Governors. If he finds out you interrogated his son, I'm afraid..." Professor McGonagall didn't finish her sentence and just looked at Dudley with obvious concern.
"I understand, but since I promised Professor Dumbledore, I will do everything possible to find the person who opened the Chamber," Dudley said with serious determination.
"The classroom next door is available for you to use," Professor McGonagall offered.
Being closer, if something really happened, Professor McGonagall could intervene.
"Good," Dudley agreed.
"Harry, you three wait here for me for a moment," Dudley instructed.
"Good luck," all three of Harry's group said simultaneously.
The three Slytherins saw Professor McGonagall withdraw the magic that had been blocking them.
"Can we go back now?" Malfoy couldn't help asking with obvious hope.
"Next, I will interrogate you," Dudley said straightforwardly.
"You... I'm going to tell my father about this," Malfoy said with an ugly expression.
"As you wish, but now, you must accept my interrogation."
"Next door classroom. I don't want to say it a second time."
Dudley said in a commanding tone.
Malfoy's face flushed red. He looked at Professor McGonagall, but she showed no reaction.
"Hmph!" Malfoy snorted, turned around and walked toward the next classroom.
In the empty classroom, darkness enveloped the four people, with only the light from Dudley's wand illuminating the pale faces of the three Slytherins.
Dudley stood on the platform, looking down at the three boys from above. The authority of an Interrogator was released at this moment, pressing down on them, making them unable to generate any thought of resistance.
Under Dudley's deliberate control, the surrounding environment was full of oppressive atmosphere, very suitable for interrogation.
All three Slytherins looked very uncomfortable.
They felt as if they were in endless darkness. Except for Dudley, they seemed to be abandoned by the entire world here, unable to perceive anything around them.
Dudley gave them the feeling that he could control their life and death at any moment.
That authority, that unquestionable aura, made them unable to summon even half a point of courage.
"The opening of the Chamber... do you have anything to do with it?" Dudley asked in a low voice.
The light from his wand shone on their faces, and they couldn't see Dudley's expression at all.
"No relation, we didn't open it," Goyle immediately said.
"It wasn't us," Crabbe also said.
Dudley turned his head and looked at Malfoy.
Feeling Dudley's gaze fall on him, Malfoy very much didn't want to answer Dudley, but the authoritative aura emanating from Dudley made him have to speak.
"It wasn't me," he admitted reluctantly.
Dudley narrowed his eyes and continued asking, "Let's try a different approach. Are you Slytherin's heir?"
Crabbe and Goyle both shook their heads simultaneously, but in their gazes toward Malfoy, there was a trace of uncertainty.
From some perspectives, Malfoy could possibly be Slytherin's heir. The Malfoy family itself was very ancient, and they were all from Slytherin. Counting back, they wouldn't be surprised if Malfoy carried Slytherin's own bloodline.
Malfoy's face flushed red. He wished he were Slytherin's heir, but obviously, he wasn't.
"I'm not," Malfoy shook his head.
"How much do you know about the Chamber?" Dudley pressed.
Crabbe and Goyle shook their heads.
"I've heard some things before, but definitely not as much as Professor McGonagall knows," Malfoy answered.
"Tell me what you know," Dudley commanded.
At this point, Malfoy no longer knew how to resist. Whatever Dudley asked him, he answered.
After hearing Malfoy's answer, Dudley felt he really didn't know much. Even if Lucius knew something, he probably wouldn't tell his son.
Dudley continued asking some questions and found that they knew nothing about many things.
"It seems they really don't have much to do with this," Dudley's gaze swept over the three people, thinking to himself.
Under his authority, the probability of Malfoy lying was very low. Crabbe and Goyle, those two fools, were even less likely to lie. In this situation, he still hadn't gotten any useful information from them, so the probability was that they really didn't know.
"Malfoy, interrogating you is only to clarify the truth of the matter, not to target you," Dudley said with a light smile.
"If you remember anything later, remember to come tell me."
"I'll reward you."
As Dudley spoke, he took out a piece of candy from his pocket and placed it in Malfoy's hand.
"Also, don't tell your father about such a small matter. It would make you look incompetent, wouldn't it?"
"You two as well."
Dudley gave each of the two a piece of candy.
"Alright, today's interrogation ends here. You can go back."
Dudley nodded to the three.
The three Slytherins looked at the candy in their hands, then looked at Dudley.
Suddenly they felt that Dudley wasn't so detestable after all, and even felt a trace of goodwill toward Dudley in their hearts.
Walking out of the classroom, Dudley saw Professor McGonagall and Harry's trio waiting outside.
"How was it?" Professor McGonagall asked.
"It really wasn't them," Dudley shook his head.
"Oh no!" Ron couldn't help exclaiming.
He had already determined that all this was Malfoy's doing and had even been discussing with Harry just now how Malfoy would be punished after confessing, whether he would be expelled like Hagrid and have his wand snapped.
Harry and Hermione also showed disappointed expressions on their faces.
Soon, the three Slytherins walked out of the classroom, looked at Dudley with complex expressions, then turned and quickly left.
"Well, that's the end of this matter. You should go back and rest early," Professor McGonagall said.
"Professor, I want to know... where did Professor Dumbledore go? Such a big incident happened at school, and he's still not coming back?" Dudley asked.
From when this incident occurred until now, Dumbledore, as Hogwarts' headmaster, had never appeared, which made Dudley very suspicious that something had happened.
"Dumbledore has more important matters to handle. This is not something we can control. During his absence, I will handle the school's affairs. If you have anything, you can also come directly to me," Professor McGonagall explained simply.
