As Eosian ran out the door and his friend Aile went after him, Liebe said, "Alysa, you should go after him too."Alysa said, "It's for the best if he's left alone."Licht said, "He made a mistake. It's best if we don't make an exception for him."Alysa said, "I understand."
Liebe said, "But it's quite unfortunate that he couldn't finish the food. It's quite unfortunate to waste food."Alysa said, "I understand."
As everyone ate dinner quietly and were leaving, Oriar asked Alysa, "Do you enjoy your current life?"Alysa said, "Yeah, I do, and I wouldn't trade it for anything."Oriar said, "Okay then, I'm proud of you."
Later, around 10 p.m. in a park, while Eosian was sitting on a bench, Aile said, "Eosian, it's getting late. We should head back."Eosian said, "Yeah, just give me a minute."Aile said, "Okay then."
Then Alysa came and said, "You didn't get the chance to finish dinner. Here's your dinner—I hope you enjoy it. And whether you apologize to Liebe or not, that's your choice."As she placed the food beside him, she said, "You can visit me whenever you want."Then she left.
Later, when she returned, Liebe said, "Welcome back."Alysa said, "Thanks."Liebe said, "Want to sit down and talk?"Alysa said, "I think it's best if I talk to Licht about this."
When everyone went to sleep, Licht and Alysa sat down in the living room to talk.Licht said, "I can guess what you wanted to talk about."Alysa said, "Yeah. I just don't understand why Eosian would be so against me dating Liebe."Licht said, "I mean, kids at that particular age have quite the sense of justice."Alysa said, "I know. I tried to be a good older sister."Licht said, "Yeah, life happens. Sometimes we try our best, yet even the easiest things become impossible."Alysa said, "You guys know what my family is like, and the only ones who actually talk to me are Father and him."Licht said, "How about this—maybe you all should just sit down and talk about this like adults. Of course, they're hot-blooded, so if they punch Liebe, let Liebe handle it. Just sit down and enjoy the conversation—that's the only thing I can suggest as the second-in-command of Team Liebe."Alysa said, "Thanks, but that option feels out of my reach. I can't expect Liebe to be so kind and just sit down after everything you guys have done to me for the past 13 years."Licht said, "Yeah, and in those past 13 years, you're one of us. That's why we'll always be there for you."Alysa said, "I know, but I can't let you guys get tangled up in my personal affairs. It just wouldn't be right."Licht said, "Well, let me grab a cup of tea, and then let's continue this conversation."
They talked until dawn, and afterwards, around 7, Liebe said, "Good morning."Alysa said, "What time is it?"Liebe said, "7 a.m."Alysa said, "Oh God, we didn't sleep."Liebe said, "I can see that."Alysa said, "Well, good night."Liebe said, "By the way, Alysa, if you're free tonight, and if you wouldn't mind—want to go on a little sightseeing around 8 p.m.? There's this café I wanted to try. Mind joining me?"Alysa said, "Sure. Licht, want to join us?"Licht said, "I would love to, but I have some paperwork left."Alysa said, "What? You have paperwork?"Liebe said, "You sure you aren't drunk?"
