As Licht gave Liebe his old uniform:
Licht said, "Get changed. You look weird."
Liebe said, "Thanks."
As Liebe was ready, they were ready to head out. As they were at the entrance:
Licht said, "Ready?"
Liebe said, "Yeahhhh... wait. I forgot something."
Licht said, "Just grab it quick."
Liebe said, "Sure." As he returned, he had Dale.
Licht said, "Who is this?"
Liebe said, "Oh, this? This is my new homie, Dickless Dale."
Licht said, "Why is he called Dickless Dale? Wait, you know what? On second thought, I don't want to know."
Liebe said, "Sure."
Mia said, "Sir, is it really if we bring back a criminal?"
Dale said, "Yeah, yeah, sure. Under Section 5, Article 3, if a criminal is above 55 and an ex-knight, certain exceptions can be made."
Liebe said, "Dale here is an ex-2nd Class S-Tier Knight."
Licht said, "Alright then. But Dale, how long of a sentence are you serving, and why exactly?"
Dale said, "Oh me? It's life for the crime of mass murder."
Licht said, "Yup, we aren't taking him. Put him back."
Liebe said, "Come on, don't worry. You are far too dumb to believe this crap. Let's just go."
Licht said, "Alright then."
As they dropped off Dale nearby, Liebe went to the capital. All the captains, Asten, and the king were supposed to be present at the trial. But it was quite apparent that no matter what, Liebe would never be declared innocent. The noble houses would never think twice before executing a half-breed. Not to mention, even with the king's support, only so much was possible. The heads of all 287 houses—and even House Vaude (Licht's house), House Elaurious (Lumos's house), not to mention House Hildr (Hedin's house)—would be completely against him. And House Faust wasn't allowed to join the trial as Liebe is a Faust by birth.
Licht was standing behind Jewel, head of House Vaude. Hedin and Aoi were standing behind Lumos, head of House Elaurious.
As Liebe entered the trial, it was obvious through the whispers that almost everyone despised him. But among the captains, only Malcor was there, and Asten was absent as well.
Meanwhile, outside, as Asten was rushing to the court, Lilith was in his way.
Asten said, "Lilith, we should get going. We are going to be late for the trial."
Lilith said, "Sorry to say, you won't be going anywhere."
Asten said, "Is that a threat?"
Lilith said, "No, just words. Either you can stand down and wait with me, or face me. But if you decide to fight, you have no chances of winning. Not to mention, people will die."
Asten said, "Alright then."
As Gelda and Vexus stopped Thalorin, Lia stopped Thea, Eldrie stopped Elva, Lara stopped Purgeus, and Felda stopped Aurora and Lucius.
In the court:
David said, "Liebe Faust, you stand here today for the crime of high treason. How do you plead?"
Liebe said, "Not guilty. And today, my trial won't be taking place. As today, here is a copy of new laws that shall change this nation for good. With every noble family present, with their consent, these will be enacted here and now."
Someone said, "Preposterous!" Another said, "It can't be!"
There were new laws that stated: half-breeds, nobles, and commoners shall enjoy equal rights; anyone who discriminates between humans, demi-humans, despite race and status, can be punished to death; any noble found guilty of corruption shall receive life sentencing; all noble families will only receive 2% of what they earn from the people instead of 25% as tribute; Hedin Elaurious shall be the new head of House Hildr; House Hildr and Elaurious shall have permission to expand their lands 30 km more in all directions; House Vale shall be a new noble house with Liebe Faust as its first head; House Faust shall be demoted to a minor house with all its assets being seized and transferred to House Vale.
Hedin said, "Lumos, any chances anyone here will accept these terms?"
Lumos said, "Doesn't seem like it."
Licht whispered, "Dad, any chances they will listen peacefully?"
Jewel said, "Hell no. But that's why you are here, right?"
Liebe said, "It appears you are having issues making a decision. Understandable. Allow me to make it easier for you." As he let out his King's Roar, everyone besides Jewel and Licht started to bleed from their eyes and nose.
Malcor said, "You dare!" As he said, "Evil Hound!" A giant hound charged towards Liebe. The dark marks appeared on Liebe's face again. In an instant, before impact, Malcor was unable to move, and the hound disappeared.
Malcor said, "How did you block my attack so easily?"
Liebe said, "You are the one person I won't forgive. You dare poison my mom's mind?" As Liebe's eyes turned black, Malcor was in pain from the pressure.
Liebe said, "What's wrong? Come on, scream harder. You are supposed to be a captain, aren't you? Don't die yet. If you died now, I wouldn't have as much fun."
Malcor said, "Liebe, I'm sorry. Please let me live. I'm begging you, the head of House Vale—"
Liebe said, "For what you did, for the crime of poisoning my mother's mind, you deserve ten thousand deaths." As Liebe punched Malcor, killing him. With Malcor's corpse at Liebe's feet, Liebe said, "Everyone, the choice is yours. Enact these new laws, or join him in hell."
As everyone signed.
Later in the evening in the castle:
David said, "Citizens, I want to tell you something." As his speech was being broadcasted to the world, David said, "That night at the capital, many were injured, yet none perished. And for that, we have Mr. Liebe to thank. He fought for us. And it is true his status as hero is revoked. But after all he did for the nation, he doesn't deserve the title of hero. From today onwards, I, David El Eldoria, declare Liebe Faust as innocent and Grand Hero. And from this day forth, our nation shall enjoy equality among commoners and nobles and half-breeds as well. Every church that worships inequality shall be banished. Eldoria shall fly the flag of Liebe Faust."
As Liebe's flag was hung.
Meanwhile, in the Empire, Alysa was watching the broadcast as she was crying tears of joy.
Helios said, "Why are you crying?"
Alysa said, "I don't know, Helios. I just don't know."
Helios said, "Can it be possible you are falling for him?"
Alysa said, "I don't know. I just don't know. But I feel like I know him, but I have never met him in my life."
Helios said, "In my words, that man is dangerous. Stay away from him."
Alysa said, "But why? It feels like you know him."
Helios said, "It's just a guess."
