3 hours before the attack on Baledia, in the capital royal castle, the king was on the communicator.
The king said, "Supreme One, please grant us mercy. Our nation is suffering. The forces of Lilith Faust have closed off our borders. We can't grow food or survive. And not to mention, we can't get in or out."
The voice said, "Worry not. Your nation almost failed, yet it succeeded."
The king said, "Yes, Supreme One, I understand. We stopped the upcoming storm. We stopped the awakening of Faust. So why is our nation suffering?"
The voice said, "Your nation did what was necessary. Preventing the awakening of Faust is the most unholy outcome."
The king said, "Why can't we just kill Faust?"
The voice said, "Killing Faust is the worst crime of them all. Killing Faust is treason against—"
The king said, "I understand. But please, Great One, protect our nation."
The voice said, "My servants died protecting your nation as you shall now face judgement. But the one who shall deliver judgement isn't me. It is thy who wields the power of Faust and Freyja. Your nation shall not survive. You dared consider killing Faust. Your nation only existed for the purpose of preventing the awakening of Faust. And now you have completed the task. Your nation is no longer required. Light shall be extinguished from Baledia."
As outside, the king saw night and the giant black hole in the sky. The black hole came crashing down, wiping the nation from the face of the world, killing every living being in the nation.
