An invisible hand crushed Adam's hand, forcing him to drop Vlad's heart. Vlad quickly teleported his heart away and absorbed it back into his body. Johan's invisible hands punched Adam, but the attack was easily blocked by a dark barrier. Adam's hand returned to his body, regenerating instantly.
"Sneaky rat, I can see you and your hands," Adam (the Demon King) said. "I don't have time to play with you. Dharka, deal with them. Make sure they don't interfere with me."
"Yes, Master!" Dharka replied.
Adam teleported away as Dharka unleashed darkness into the sky, and an army of undead minions, creatures, zombies, and dragons rained down.
The Truth and The New Plan
"Everyone listen," Azrael spoke, his voice strained. "That demon inside Adam is trying to kill Adam's body. I saw Serbas's memories. Adam with the demon inside of him is the one that came here and caused the plague. He gave Serbas a knife that can permanently kill Adam. However Adam did something to himself that the demon can't undo, which is the reason why he can't destroy Adam's body. That demon said that when Adam revived serbas family, he would come and kill his family. That is why Serbas was trying to resurrect his family with human lives instead of Adam's life force. Serbas knows that Adam's life force is the reason why that demon was unable to enter Adam's body."
"Adam created a time loop on his body to revive if he gets killed," Lyra added, now realizing the full scope of Adam's self-protection. "It will unlock his immense level due to the glitch. So that's why that demon was trying to access his status."
"Which is why, we need to kill Adam so he can revive and regain his body!" Azrael shouted.
"Serbas is in danger!" Vlad urgently spoke, teleporting away.
"Everyone enter my protected barrier!" Lyra shouted as her spears multiplied by thousands. She created a barrier of divine light and shot down beams of divine light towards the undead. Azrael and Johan rushed towards Serbas's location.
The Final Showdown
The undead army swarmed down toward Azrael and Johan. Azrael sliced through the hordes as Johan turned invisible, crushing creatures as he continued moving toward Serbas.
Serbas, seeing what was unfolding, knew the Demon King had taken Adam's body. Serbas created a barrier with black blood scattered across the sky.
"Listen, no matter what happens, I love you. You need to keep living for me," Serbas said to his family.
"Dad, let me fight as well," Amon said.
"LISTEN! Protect your mum and sister. Run away as far as you could with them. Once I teleport everyone away, run and hide," Serbas shouted.
Adam appeared suddenly in the Black Armor, his fist enlarged with dark aura, punching the barrier and cracking it.
Serbas's black blood rained down, piercing through Adam, but it was blocked by Adam's barrier. Adam unleashed the absorbed damage back toward Serbas's barrier, shattering it. Serbas quickly teleported his family away as he exploded in a poison mist.
Adam sent a wind blast, pushing the poison away, only to see Serbas phasing through Adam's barrier as Vlad joins in.
Serbas shot out a devastating mana beam as Vlad sent out a blood spike to pierce Adam's body. However, Adam was coated with another barrier on the surface of his body.
"You're underestimating me if you think that would work." Adam's barrier, which had absorbed the damage, was changed into power for Adam to absorb.
"Feel this," Adam said, punching both Vlad and Serbas with his power. In one strike, both Vlad and Serbas were smashed into the ground, leaving a huge crater. Both struggled to remain conscious as Adam sealed them with the Ancient Sealing Technique.
"Pathetic insects, you really think you could go against me?!" Adam sneered.
Adam pulled Serbas up by his hair, forcing him to face him. "You should have killed this body as I told you. Now where is the knife?" Adam spoke, spitting on Serbas's face.
"I'll start with your friend here as a sacrifice if you're still stubborn." Adam threw Serbas to the ground, pulled Vlad up by the hair, and raised him.
"Now where is that heart of yours," Adam demanded.
