The six ogre villages were located in such a way, that they were surrounding the boss chamber in the middle from all sides.
Seeing this, the ladies had obviously speculated that the ogres had made their villages like this in order to protect the boss chamber from the dungeon diving intruders.
There was no problem with the logic behind this thinking. Something like this was common for many many dungeons. So most adventurers would reach the same conclusion as the ladies.
But the ogres here were quite special. So naturally their reason for making their villages like this was not similar to what the ladies were thinking.
Normally monsters of a dungeon floor would be subordinates to the boss of that floor and would follow their orders. But the ogres here were not related the the boss of the chamber at all.
Grace came to know this suprising truth while two of the village chiefs were spit roasting her.
