~Lisa's POV
The night stretched into morning before I even realized it.
I had been at it for hours, sweating, panting, pushing myself to the limit. Every time I thought I was done, I just… couldn't stop. There was something wild inside me, something burning to come out fully.
"Faster," I whispered to myself, wiping the sweat from my forehead. "You can go faster."
I took a step back, focused on the open space ahead, and felt the rush of air building around me. I closed my eyes and imagined myself gliding like the wind, light and unstoppable.
"Go," I breathed.
In an instant, the world blurred. The trees zipped past me, the ground disappeared under my feet, and I felt weightless. My heart raced. I could feel the air whipping against my face, cold and sharp.
I stopped suddenly, skidding to a halt a few feet from where I started.
A laugh burst from my lips. "Yes!" I shouted. "I did it!"
