Just then— on their way, they saw a carriage ahead. "Momshie, let's go and ask those guy over there!" The two of them headed to the carriage. Inside, there's a beautiful and elegant woman. She was sitting as she enjoys the peaceful ambience but suddenly— she felt Luke's Aura drawing closer. "What's this aura? It's a mix of Infernal and a Pa—" just then— "Hello mister! Hey!!!!"
"Wait... A kid?" This shocked the woman. "Greetings fellow travelers! Do you happen to be residents of that Town ahead?" Luke's looking all gleeful. "Yes, yes we are! Oh? By the way, I'm Luke A. Lyfrienia and this is my Momshie, Lura Lyfrienia!"
Hearing their family name made the mistress gasp. "They're from Lyfrienia?" The driver is surprised. "Wait, Lura?" He looks at her. "As in, Lura the daughter of Humanity's Champion, Lunaria?" Lura bows. "It is indeed, I, Lura of the Lyfrienia Clan, daughter of Lunaria Lyfrienia." The driver cannot contain his joy and wanted to shake hands. "Oh! It's honor to meet you, Lady Lura! I didn't expect you had a son!"
"I'm not momshie's biological son, mister. I'm from her sis!" The driver is once again in awe. "Oh? Luna?! That one daughter who almost reached the same height as her mother?! You're her son?!" Luke joyfully nods. "Wha— what can I do for you two?" Lura then takes over. "I know it's confidential but— do you happen to know where the Quintico Village is? My son and I have an important business with them and we needed to reach there as soon as possible." The woman heard their conversation, loud and clear. "Oh? My mistress and I just so happen to headed the same location." The mother and son looks surprised. "I need to ask first my mistress about—"
"Let them in, Mister." They're dazed by how smooth and kind her voice is. "It would seem my Mistress's response is your invitation. Go in the carriage, we'll be departing in a minute." Luke's all happy. "Thank you mister!!!" Lura and Luke headed inside the Carriage and there, they saw a curtain covering the other section. Luke wants to take peek but Lura stopped him. "Thank you for letting us tag along in your travels, mistress. I'll be sure to pay the agreed fees." Just then, "There's no need, Lady Lura, daughter of Lunaria. Your presence alone is incomparable to any wealth."
In that instance, the carriage moves. "Ha.. ha... You flatter me too much. I don't deserve such praise." The curtain still closed but it shows the silhouette of the woman behind it. "No, you deserve it, Lady Lura. Also, I did not expect to meet you in this type of setting." Luke's looking around the carriage. "I overheard your conversation with my escort. Do you mind telling me what business that involves the Clan of Quintico?"
Lura scratches her scalp. "I want to speak with the Clan's Chieftain, Yamashi Quintico II. Reason?" She looked at Luke and felt sad. "It's about my big sis son. You know, this lil boy right here." The woman sensed that Luke is indeed emitting darkness. "I see. Your purpose is to sa—!" Suddenly, a 10 meter infernal blocked their pathway, halting the carriage on its tracks. "Wha—? The carriage stopped...!"
"Infernal! Stay right here Luke, I'll take care of it." Lura left and— "No, I'm coming with you momshie!!!" Luke left the carriage and there, they witnessed how tall it is. Lura braces for battle but disturbed when she heard Luke. "Luke?! Why are you here?! Didn't I told you to stay inside the—" In that brief moment, more infernals sprung from the forest, trapping them in both sides. "Curses! They're too many but— whatever."
"Luke, since you're here, I want you to protect the carriage from our pursuers. Make sure none ever harm our guest." Luke salutes. "Aye, aye momshie!" Lura now equip herself with her signature battle armor and drawn her signature weapon. She now engages into battle. Seeing her on action made Luke in awe. She slaughter her enemy in swift motion, as if, she's dancing. Luke is cheering in the background but suddenly, one of the Infernal is drawn to the carriage therefore, Luke end his antics and quickly annihilate the Infernal with his Tontrus Element. The boy doesn't know what to name the Tontrus power he casted so he just remained quiet.
Now that they see the boy, some of the infernals are drawn to him and decided to pursue him. The driver looks worried. "Oh no, the kid's presence attracted the infernals!!!" Suddenly, an arrow came out from the carriage and it beamed a Blinding Light, paralyzing them in the process. The boy sees the Light and surprisingly, he, too, is also affected. Lura's shocked to see her enemies stunned and look at the carriage. "Light?" In that particular moment, the Light scattered and killed all the Infernals at bay.
"That light— similar to that of the power of the Supreme Deity bestowed to one of the 2 blessed Clans. Could it be that the woman inside the carriage is a Quintico?" She smiled and looks glad. "It seems our journey is blessed. We surely guaranteed to reach the Quintico Village without any problem! I gotta break this news to Lu—"
As she gaze at the boy, his darkness grow powerful, trying to broke free from the light that inflict on him but later, his petite body couldn't take the toll and just collapse. "Luke!!!?" Quickly, Lura carried him. The woman inside communicated with the driver. "Mister, please tell them to head inside the carriage." The driver nods and convey the message to Lura. She listened and now headed inside. "It would seem the boy is also affected by my power." The woman speaks and Lura surprised. "So that attack belongs to you." She said. "It would seem you are indeed one of the Quintico Folk."
"You are indeed correct, Lady Lura." The curtains opened, she revealed herself by taking off her hood, and Lura's eyes widened. "Wait, you're no ordinary Quintico Folk, you're Olivia Quintico, wife of Yamashi Quintico II!!"
Olivia has a straight, longish brown hair with a fair skin. The color of her eyes is almost that of a Sapphire and her beauty is unparalleled.
"It is indeed I, mi'lady." Olivia said and Lura's shaking in disbelief. "I... I can't believe this. I didn't expect to stumble upon you." Olivia also paid her respect. "And I am beyond grateful that you and I have met, Lady Lura of Lunaria." She stood up and takes a closer look to the boy. "This boy is a peculiar one. I sense your Clan's blood coursing through his veins and so is the Infernal. Yet my power somehow put a great toll on him." Lura's unrest and Olivia decides to check any further by getting in contact with him thru her hand.
"By the looks of it, it seems it's not an ordinary Infernal coursing through him but a powerful one." She then look at Lura. "Your sister truly disobeyed the Divine Laws of the Supreme for the sake of Love, huh?" Olivia is writing onto the boy's chest and it glows. "She's deceived." Olivia shows signs of surprise. "My sister, Luna, she's deceived by the looks of that Infernal, Luke's father. She stated in her letter that this boy's father took highly resemblance to that of a Human."
"Resemblance to that of a human, huh? Does your sister happen to fell to a corpse-type infernal?" Lura takes a minute to pause. "He's not just an ordinary corpse infernal. He, like his son, is also a unique breed and I cannot fathom how it all turns what it is by now." It seems Olivia casted something on Luke and it stabalize his power. "For now, all I did is cast a temporal seal to subdue to surgence of darkness in him. It should be enough when we reached my dearest."
"Thank you... Mistress Olivia" Lura felt grateful. "Say Lady Lura, if this child is the result of deception, why are you letting him live? Even if my husband manages to suppress the child's darkness, we don't know what comes in the future." Lura looked at Luke. "My sister pleaded not to kill." Olivia listened. "The child doesn't know anything and it's quite cruel to neutraliza him because of the sins that his mother and father committed." Luke is peacefully sleeping. "I don't know their story and was forced fo believe tidbits of it. But I'm sure my sister enjoyed her last moments with that infernal. A joy which I failed to deliver when I left her."
She stroke Luke's hair. "That's the regret which keeps on haunting me. The part where; in her lowest, I leave her for my own selfishness without knowing she hides her inner struggles through a smile." Olivia then looks at Lura. "So, you took her child just to relieve yourself from guilt?" Lura nods and Oliver concluded through silence. "I am aware the danger and I will take responsibility." She added. "I will nurture him while I'm still living and breathing."
"I see.... I understand." As they talk, Darkness within Luke gone stronger and wanting to be released. "This boy's darkness is extraordinary. What type of infernal is his father?" Lura looked at her. "An Anherion, but he's not just an ordinary Infernal but a— King." Olivia's eyes widened. "Pa — pardon?"
"I... I thought his father's an Corpse infernal. How come that corpse infernal happens to be a Void King? A Royal-blooded Void King is incredibly unique infernal on their own. How come a corpse-type manages to—?" Lura then later said. "Like I said before, just like this child, his father is also a unique breed. In other words, a half-breed."
Olivia can't fathom what's happening. "When the mix of blood starts with his father, that explains the darkness power of a Royal Blood Void King is in chaos." She looks troubled. "We really need to tell my husband about this matter." And so, their travel continues.
At Dusk....
They have finally arrived at the Village. The boy is already awake and is thrilled to see new environment. He told Lura about it and she just nods. Meanwhile they've arrived at their designated location, the humble abode of Chieftain Yamashi. There, they expressed their gratitude to the driver and later headed to where the Chieftain is. On their way, Lura's looking around, looks confused and Olivia decides to step in. "This manor is both our home and Sanctuary. Our clan uses this place for worship and Divine trainings. If the exterior is massive, so is the interior. I suggest to follow me so we could reach where my beloved is."
Lura nods. "Woah! Momshie, momshie! This house is big!!! It's like a—" Luke didn't not finish as Lura took him to her arms. "It sure is and it would be nasty to get lost alright. Now, be still and let's get you healed." Luke obediently follows and now headed to where the Chieftain is.
At the Chieftain's Room...
Olivia came first and is greeted warmly by her husband. "My love? I wasn't expecting your early arrival. I apologize for my lack of awareness." Olivia kissed on his cheeks. "No need apology, my dearest. You are a busy man, I know." Yamashi looks relaxed.
Yamashi has a Blonde hair tied in pony tail, has a mid-tone, and Golden-like colored eyes alike that of Lyfrienia.
"By the way my dearest, we have a very important guest. Behold, Lady Lura of the Lyfrienia Clan." Lura and Luke came in and the woman bow to pay her respects. Luke sees his momshie doing it so he copies.
"Lady Lura?!" Yamashi looks dazed. "I never would've expected your clan prosper under your guidance, Yamashi. Or— should say Lord Yamashi?" Lura smirks and Yamashi felt awkward. "Just— Yamashi is fine, Lady Lura." Lura both put her hands to her waist and remember how much of a clumsy child Yamashi is in his early days, making her chuckled. "You've gotten your looks mostly from your late Father, Yamashi I. I bet your father is proud of you in Celestial Planes."
"Oh stop with the flattery, Lady Lura." Olivia seems intrigued. "You two seems close, do you happen to know each other dear?" Lura and Yamashi looked at her. "Well, Yamashi here is my childhood friend. My mother, Lunaria, and his Father, Yamashi I, were close friends. And my mother usually visits the Quinticos for collaborative operations." Olivia rubs her chin. "I see, I understand. It's a surprise my dearest didn't told me about you, being his friend." Lura laughs. "Oh, I assure you, Yamashi here tends to forget the vital details and just need a little smacking to bring it back."
"Hearing it from you shivers down my bone, yaknow. Also, aren't you also one of the forgetful? You also tend to forget where our village located." Yamashi felt awkward and Lura just let out a giggle. "Oh shushh... I'm still young back then, of course I can't remember it well." Lura just laugh it off. "What a lame excuse coming from you." Yamashi mumbles and suddenly saw Luke beside her. "Oh, speaking of which, how's Luna? Is she doing well?" Scratches his cheeks lightly. "I haven't heard anything from her ever since your mother didn't visit here in the village. Oh? Is this child happens to be your son? He looks just like you with— Umm... Red eyes?"
Lura's saddened and Olivia felt awkward. Yamashi noticed a sudden shift of mood in his surroundings. "Umm... Is there anything I said that triggers this awkward silence?" Lura didn't speak and later— "Oh wait?! I know you don't like long talks, Lady Lura so I'll get straight to the point. What brings the honored Lyfrienia from the Quintico's Village? Is there any need of large-scale purification?" Yamashi gets into business but Lura speaks. "You sure taken notes of my traits, Yamashi." He then scratches his scalp. "I'll take that as a compliment."
"Anyway, going back to what you've said before regarding my sister, Luna." She sighs. "She's dead." Yamashi's surprised. "Second, this boy here is not my son, but rather to my deceased Sister. Third, we came here for personal interest." Yamashi couldn't believe what he just heard. "Luna... Is dead? How? A— and if this child is hers, then who's this lucky person struck Luna's heart?" Luna scoffs but grief is undeniable. "It's not a person who caught my sister's feelings but an infernal."
"You say— WHAT??! An Infernal??!" He's beyond shock. "You're joking, am I right? If you do, this is joke is too much to be regarded as one." Olivia steps in. "It is, my dear. Lady Lura is telling the truth." The room is once again dominated by silence.
