"This is honestly too exaggerated..."
Doc Q was so terrified that he immediately started coughing up blood.
If the strength of all these one hundred-plus people was comparable, that meant any random one of them could beat them to a pulp!
Is this the Calamity Company that even Captain Teech (Blackbeard) dare not defy?!
The supreme ruler, Roa, was a super-monster who transcended human limits and could be called a god.
His senior executives were each a force that ran rampant across the seas, unstoppable.
And now, even these people, who should be considered minor executives, were this strong?
Is this rational?!
No wonder that Lord Roa paid them no mind!
Capone "Gang" Bege also had a slight sweat on his forehead and felt some pressure.
Fortunately, his main fighting power didn't come from martial arts or Haki.
Instead, it came from the weapons designed by Judge and installed inside his body.
Otherwise, he'd have absolutely no presence in the Calamity Company!
Toki, who had been quietly following Roa, couldn't help but reveal a look of astonishment.
Or rather, her emotions dictated that she should be astonished now.
Regardless, it was truly astonishing that such a powerful force could be assembled in twenty-five years!
"Excellent, Judge, Caesar, you both did very well." Roa praised them sincerely.
A hundred-plus Artificial Humans close to the level of a Calamity—what kind of concept was that?
The World Government probably couldn't muster such a force—
Well, unless there are many powerhouses among the Devil Giants controlled by Imu.
"This is our duty!" Caesar immediately beamed.
"We could have created even more," Judge sighed with a hint of regret, "but we ran out of resources. Also, each Artificial Human requires constant debugging by me, which is very troublesome."
"It doesn't matter," Roa wasn't concerned. "It's more than enough, isn't it?"
After all, even a few hundred more of this level wouldn't significantly impact his fight with Imu.
"As long as you're satisfied!" Judge's spirits lifted, and he wore a smile identical to Caesar's.
"By the way," Roa asked a question he cared about more. "Has the technology for manufacturing Artificial Devil Fruits matured?"
"Ordinary Zoan Devil Fruits can now be mass-produced!" Judge stated seriously. "The entire Calamity Knights corps are Zoan users, and after they all ate them, we still have a stockpile of several hundred left."
"However, the cultivation of Ancient Zoans is still difficult, with a very high failure rate. After years of effort, we've only managed to create just over twenty."
"Meaning," Roa's raised eyebrow dropped slightly, "Paramecia, Logia, and even Mythical Zoan are still impossible to replicate?"
Judge and Caesar both shook their heads helplessly. "The Lineage Factors of Paramecia are ever-changing and exceptionally strange. Logia and Mythical Zoan are even more elusive. We apologize, Boss, we can't do it yet."
"I see." Roa nodded gently in understanding.
It seemed that even with the same ancient technology data from Ohara, there was still a difference in talent.
Vegapunk could replicate Paramecia and even Mythical Zoans, but Judge and Caesar combined could not.
I misjudged you, old man Vegapunk.
You aren't just an archaeologist; you genuinely possess extraordinary abilities in the field of scientific research.
"What if you had Vegapunk's data on this?" Roa posed the question.
"Vegapunk?" Judge and Caesar exclaimed simultaneously. They exchanged glances, and then Judge quickly said, "With that fellow's talent, he must have figured out some things over the years. If we could really get his research data, our research progress would surely greatly accelerate!"
"Alright then." Roa thought, Looks like I'll have to trouble Stussy again.
"Then we'll rely on you, Boss!" Judge and Caesar spoke with solemn tones.
Neither of them doubted whether Roa could accomplish this.
Although twenty-five years had passed, one thing was carved into their very core: The Boss is omnipotent!
"Right," Roa remembered something else. "Since you've created Ancient Zoan Devil Fruits, why did you only give these guys the most common Zoan types?"
Judge instantly revealed an even prouder smile. "That's because Ancient Zoans need to be eaten by a higher caliber of Artificial Human!"
"Oh?" Roa's eyes lit up. "There are even higher-caliber Artificial Humans?"
"Yes, Boss. There are five Fifth Generation Artificial Humans in total!" Judge clapped his hands. "What are you waiting for? Come out!"
The neatly aligned Calamity Knights parted to create a path.
Five brightly colored warriors stepped forward from the back.
"Oh?" Roa was genuinely surprised this time, because the faces of these five Artificial Humans were finally not the same as the original clone soldiers.
Instead,
Roa looked at the five Artificial Humans, then turned his gaze to Judge. "Judge, they look a lot like you."
The five brothers had red, blue, yellow, green, and pink hair, and all had the same curly eyebrows as Judge.
Is Destiny at work again?
But how would the absence of Reiju be compensated?
"They are all children of me and Sora!" Judge announced. "They are children truly conceived in a mother's womb and successfully born and raised."
"The power of the Lineage Factor underwent the most complete growth within their bodies, ultimately reaching a level surpassing all other Artificial Humans."
Roa observed the five colored warriors again.
They indeed possessed emotions.
The way they looked at him even carried a hint of nervousness.
"Because they are your own children, did you specifically preserve their emotions?" Roa asked with a smile.
"Of course not," Judge stated bluntly. "Only normal emotions can allow Haki to evolve to the pinnacle! If we are to create the most perfect Artificial Humans, then Haki is an absolutely essential component!"
"Very good." Roa nodded with great satisfaction this time.
The aura strength emanating from these five brothers was a notch above Bege's.
In the realm of a Sweet Commander or Calamity, they should be considered very strong.
Paired with their Raid Suits, they might not be inferior to a high-level expert like Marco.
And they could still continue to grow.
Judge had created something remarkable.
"Their names?" Roa asked.
"Quickly tell the Boss!" Judge urged.
"Ichiji."
"Niji."
"Sanji."
"Yonji."
"Go-ji."
The five brothers nervously announced their names to Roa one by one.
"That's quite efficient." Roa couldn't help but laugh.
One, two, three, four, five.
Judge chuckled awkwardly. "A name is just a designation..."
"Very well done, Judge," Roa patted Judge's shoulder gently. "They will certainly shine brightly in the coming war."
"Yes! Boss!" Judge was thrilled.
Caesar, standing nearby, ground his teeth.
It seemed his plan to usurp Judge was not going to materialize anytime soon.
"It doesn't end there, Boss," Dylan, who had been quietly following Roa, suddenly spoke up.
"Judge also developed another remarkable technology a couple of years ago."
"Oh?" Roa looked curiously at Judge. "I'm very interested to know what that is."
"It's the Devil Fruit modification technology obtained from Queen!" Judge revealed. "Based on that, I developed a technology to implant Lineage Factors into the human body."
Roa paused, then asked, "Are you saying you can directly implant Lineage Factor abilities into a normal person's body?"
"That's right!" Judge nodded emphatically. "It shouldn't be possible under normal circumstances. The Lineage Factors in the human body are extremely precise, and the slightest mistake would cause the person to simply collapse!"
"But, there is something in the world that can easily modify human Lineage Factors!"
"Devil Fruits!" Roa's eyes lit up.
"Yes, Boss!" Judge nodded, smiling. "Although we can now replicate Zoan Devil Fruits, we still don't fully understand exactly how they modify human Lineage Factors!"
"But we don't need to fully understand! By adapting the Devil Fruit modification technology, we implant the Lineage Factors into the Devil Fruit's ability, thereby allowing the human body to be indirectly modified!"
"Interesting!" Roa looked at Dylan. "So?"
Dylan smiled and patted his chest. "I honestly never thought that an ordinary person like me could one day possess an indestructible body, superhuman recovery, and also—"
He paused, then raised his right hand. "This!"
Whoosh!
A small whirlwind suddenly rose from his palm.
"Eh! I've never heard of such a thing!" Teech was extremely shocked.
Wasn't this a dual Devil Fruit user in a completely different sense?
He, the one person who could truly eat multiple Devil Fruits, only had one ability right now!
"A very remarkable technology." King also smiled and said, "It made even me stronger."
"My strength has also greatly increased," Bullet added.
"That truly is remarkable." Roa smiled and asked him, "Judge, well done."
"I want one too!" Doflamingo eagerly raised his hand. "Give me one as well!"
Loki looked down at him. "It wouldn't do you any good, would it? Your fighting relies entirely on your weapons."
Doflamingo choked.
True.
"Zehahaha! Then give me one first!" Teech chuckled. "Can I choose any Lineage Factor ability?"
"As you please," Judge said. "But you are limited to one."
"That's enough!" Teech pumped his fist excitedly.
With this, he'd gain another ability!
Zehahaha!
He wouldn't dare say he'd surpass the Boss, but becoming the Calamity Company's strongest executive was definitely within reach!
"Boss," Judge looked at Roa. "Do you need one?"
"I'll pass." Roa casually refused. "That minimal enhancement is meaningless to me."
I'm not even a Devil Fruit user. Why would I implant anything?
"Understood." Judge looked a little disappointed.
He had hoped he could make the Boss even stronger.
"Besides these, there are two other important research achievements." Judge continued.
"There's more?" Roa was genuinely delighted this time.
Judge's efficiency was too high!
Wait, no.
For him, only a few dozen days had passed, so bringing out so many research results at once seemed ridiculously efficient.
But for Judge, this was the result of twenty-five years of diligent research.
"The remaining two achievements are the most important research results in the true sense." Judge said seriously. "Please follow me."
"Lead the way!" Roa followed Judge out of the training ground with interest and took an elevator to a lower deck.
They walked along a wide corridor—wide enough for even Loki to walk comfortably—and reached a heavy metal door with tight security.
The guards at the door were old acquaintances of Roa.
"Spark Red and them?" Roa raised an eyebrow.
There were five guards, all expressionless Lineage Factor Artificial Humans.
But based on their aura, Roa immediately recognized who they were.
"Yes, Boss," Judge replied with a smile. "Although the First Generation Artificial Humans are outdated, it would be too wasteful to just let them die when their lifespan runs out."
"The First and Second Generation Artificial Humans have all received the Pure Gold life extension. They are now the guards of the New Calamity City."
Roa nodded gently.
True, even the green-haired one is an Ancient Zoan user. It would be a waste for him to die from old age.
"Please follow me, Boss." Judge entered the password on the input device next to the door.
The heavy door slowly opened.
Roa, curious, followed Judge inside.
Platinum-colored light shone from a sphere on the ceiling. Six giant glass columns stood within the very spacious metal room.
Inside the glass columns was a green solution, and suspended in that solution were—
"Whoa!" Roa's eyes lit up.
Six children were floating inside the six columns.
They looked to be about six or seven years old.
Five boys and one girl.
A black-haired boy, a blond boy, another blond boy, a pink-haired girl, a boy with horns on his head, and a black-haired boy with an afro and a few missing teeth.
They all had a pair of small black wings on their backs.
"Every one of them looks familiar." Roa's mouth curved up.
"Roger, Shiki, Bullet, Charlotte Linlin, Kaido, Teech," Judge introduced them to Roa one by one. "Based on their Lineage Factors, fused with the Lunarian bloodline, these children are the result."
"Zehahaha..." Teech's forehead sweated, and he laughed dryly. "You actually made them?"
"The blood of Uncle Shiki and Roger had been collected long ago," Roa asked with curiosity. "But where did you get the blood of Brother Kaido and Aunt Linlin?"
"We acquired it in exchange for giving them Pure Gold." Dylan explained. "Although they probably guessed what we wanted their blood for, a little bit of blood wasn't much of a sacrifice compared to the temptation of eternal life."
He paused. "We also got another blood sample from Shiki."
Roa chuckled. "Very thorough planning, Dylan."
Dylan just smiled.
"How much more time is needed for them to be fully cultivated?" Roa asked.
"To be combat-ready, at least two more years," Judge answered.
"That fast?" Roa was surprised.
These little guys only looked about six or seven years old.
Judge raised his finger and pointed at the glowing metal sphere on the ceiling.
"Boss, you asked us to study Pure Gold. This sphere is the result of the research we conducted with the help of Myskina Acier!"
Judge explained. "In contrast to Pure Gold, the light emitted by this metal can accelerate biological growth to a certain extent!"
"While it's nowhere near the level of Pure Gold, a growth acceleration of over three times can be achieved."
"This metal also helped greatly in producing so many Artificial Devil Fruits and Calamity Knights so quickly."
"Oh! Judge! You never cease to surprise me!" Roa couldn't recall how many times he had praised Judge today.
He needs the praise!
"You're too kind!" Judge chuckled happily.
"Have you named them?"
"Not yet," Judge shook his head, then asked expectantly, "Boss, would you like to name them?"
Roa pondered for a moment. "Let's call them the Fallen Angels."
The World Government created the Seraphim, the emissaries of God.
His, then, would be named after the enemies of God.
"Yes!" Judge nodded with delight.
"So, Judge, you mentioned one more research achievement, right?" Roa asked. "What is it?"
Judge stomped his foot upon hearing this. "Boss, it's this New Calamity City itself!"
"Oh?"
"Aside from the crucial energy source still being incomplete, the various weapons of Pluton have essentially been replicated and installed on this Sky City!"
"Even when supplied with an inferior energy source, it still possesses overwhelming firepower!"
"Wow." Roa truly couldn't recall how many times he had exclaimed in amazement today.
They certainly didn't waste those twenty-five years.
