In the subconscious time space sat Luna, Yuta, Rin and Kuro across each other.
"What is the meaning of this, Kuro?" Rin said in fury.
"Calm down young Rin., You have been here once" Rin said in a gentle tone.
Rin sat down grudgingly, but both Yuta and Luna understood — Kuro's calmness carried an intimidating aura.
"Kuro, what do you mean Rin has been here once before?" Yuta asked, clearly curious.
Staring sharply like into Yuta soul, Kuro responded "Do you want to know?"
The air was stiff; no dared to move or talk before Luna interrupted with a smack to the head of Kuro
"Stop Intimidating them"
The tense atmosphere suddenly dissolved as Kuro burst into laughter which clearly irritated both Yuta and Rin but they had suppressed that inner irritation.
As the laughter faded, Kuro turned to look at Rin before speaking "Let the sleeping memories awaken, huh? To understand it all, let's start from the beginning."
Fourteen Years Ago…...
The air blew rather coldly sending shivers down the spines, a young man could be seeing carrying a young boy with emerald eyes and golden hair on his back.
"Who is that?" Yuta asked
"That's me... and my father, Raul," Rin answered softly.
Raul carrying a three-year-old Rin as they went to the open fields together, just staring at it in awe.
"Rin, do you know about the stellar stars?" Raul asked looking at Rin
"No dad" A young Rin answered
"The Stellar Star is one in a million — a star that soars across our skies. It's said that any wish made upon it will come true."
"Anything dad?" Rin said in amusement.
Messing up the once combed hair that his wife Tino had carefully combed, Raul answered "Yeah"
They both played and had fun afterwards letting the once joyous day come to full fruition.
"Rin do you know what today symbolize in Livastin culture," Kuro asked with a stiff gaze as expecting something to occur
"No, my mom refused to tell me and so did you" Rin answered rather calm tone
"Seems like they are still buried, damn the seal I put is powerful" Kuro said in amusement.
"Just give him his memories, he is not an experiment" Luna said in irritation.
"Unfortunately, that is not possible unless he relives it" Kuro answered smirkingly.
As Rin and Raul went home they met Tino waiting with dinner furiously.
"Honey, what took you so long, your answer may just determine my mood" Tino said holding a spoon.
"We went and played" Raul said hiding behind Rin like a child.
"Mommy, daddy, no fighting!" Rin said nearly crying
"Okay son, we won't fight again" Raul and Tino said in agreement.
They ate dinner, the food may have been small but was fulfilling. The peace and warmth of a family together was beautiful but how it did not last.
As Tino and Raul tucked in Rin to sleep, the alarm went off
*BEEP BEEP*
"Demons attacking, get to cover" Villagers shouted
The night continued dreadfully as demons invaded homes killing and killing off people eating them.
No one knew how they had broken in but finding out was up to these alive.
A young Rin hearing all the commotion woke up as he went downstairs.
"What is happening?"
As Rin continued walking, his leg stepped into a pool and was not cold, Rin half asleep opened his eyes to stare in horror seeing his father almost dead.
"Dad- Dad" Rin said crying.
Tino also in a weakened was beside Raul body in blood; clearly, they had faced the monster on their own trying to keep Rin safe.
Raul almost at the brink of death looked at Tino "Get Rin somewhere safe"
"We can still heal and save you" Tino said in tears
"Just get him away Tino"
Turning to look at Rin still crying clutching his father cloth, gently Raul patted Rin hair "Son, you remember the stellar star, it prays you get to see it"
"Take care of your mother and grow to be a strong boy who can make friends"
"It is not possible without you dad!" Rin said crying
"It is and it will happen" Raul said faintly.
Raul turned to look at Tino, he kissed her on the face before screaming with his last breath "Run"
As Tino carried Rin as she ran and ran leaving a dead Raul in the house, Rin looked at the sky, a star flew by.
In anger, Rin screamed at the top of his lungs
"I will kill them"
"I will kill them"
"I will get strong-strong enough to slay all demons so I can avenge my father"
That cry was not the cry of a child but the cry of a young solider ready to risk everything.
Both Luna and Yuta stared back to look at Rin who had been shading tears quietly.
"You remember now Rin" Kuro said quietly
"Yeah, that day was the "The Night of The Broken Sky" in Livatsin"
Your prayers were answered as the god of time sent me to be your seraph, and make you an apostle. I have been training you and you had been imbued with the god of time powers and techniques which has been innate within you.
Rin stared in silence as both Yuta and Luna looked at him
Rin looked up in anger as he told Kuro with a serious tone "Dispel this trickery now!"
Kuro sighed then dispelled it.
Rin stood up as he began to leave the shop, the shop had been the same way it had always been
As Rin was leaving, Yuta stood up "Rin wait"
With a death glare, Rin turned to look at Yuta "Don't follow if you want to die!"
It was not a warning, not a threat but a fact as Rin left the vipers tea.
Yuta followed right after him not in guilt but because he saw himself in him.
"Are you glad you finally told him?" Luna said
"Frankly, yeah; that kid strength lies in his care and emotion for others, besides keeping the truth from him all this while has been painful but has been the will of my god"
"Are you prepared to tell your apostle and is he prepared to carry the burdened truth" Kuro said not smirkingly, not serious but in a caring tone.
Luna only responded with silence.
