Leon ran to her and pulled her into a hug.

"Leo..." Mira spoke; that was the first time he had heard her call him by name.
"I am here..." Leon grabbed her hand with a gesture of promise. Mira was still, but he could sense that she was anxious, afraid.
"Mira... can we have her...." She looked at him, and hot tears rolled down her face. She was still and didn't know how to respond.

The phone rang on the bedside table, pulling Leon out of sleep. He blinked against the darkness, fumbling for it with half-closed eyes. He took the phone,
"Leo... where are you. Her vital signs have improved." Leon disconnected Finn's call. He looked at the phone wallpaper, their adorable family of three. He rode back to the hospital.
