Countless impacts thundered from within the energy wave as the concentrated beam mercilessly pummeled Black's form.
"Lowly garbage, AHHHHH!" Black's agonized screams pierced the air. He wrapped his limbs tightly around his torso and head in a futile attempt at protection, but it was useless. Except for the front of his body, every other part was invaded and systematically destroyed. His muscles and cells could no longer withstand the endless assault and began collapsing entirely. Countless droplets of blood oozed from his subcutaneous tissue, instantly transforming him into a crimson-soaked figure.
Black gritted his teeth and endured the torment, occasionally releasing pitiful wails of agony.
One second passed? Ten seconds? Under this inhuman torture, time seemed to stretch infinitely, each second feeling like an entire century of suffering.
After what felt like an eternity, the endless destructive energy finally dissipated from Karnel's hand. Black, who had been suspended mid-air and was now barely clinging to consciousness, plummeted down and crashed onto the dark ground below.
The demonic energy floating in the air seemed to catch the scent of something delicious. It condensed into thick black vapor that rushed through the unconscious Black's ears and nose, penetrating deep into his body.
Black was jolted awake by excruciating pain coursing through his being. He curled up like a boiled shrimp, enduring the inhuman agony as the corruption spread.
"Power... This is power! Hahaha! My... my strength has become greater!" Black sensed the change within himself, the demonic energy that had flowed into his body had been completely absorbed and transformed into his own power. He couldn't help but laugh maniacally.
Looking at the Supreme Kai who had been transformed by demonic energy and now appeared grotesquely ugly, Karnel felt disgusted.
Black had been completely corrupted by the demonic power, and all his injuries were miraculously healed. His strength had increased dramatically as he stood up with renewed fury, a smug expression plastered across his transformed features. His eyes, now corroded by demonic energy, flashed with sinister black light as he gazed arrogantly at the Saiyan hovering in the sky above.
"Lowly Saiyan, this power... it's incredible, I can hardly believe it myself! Now, allow me to repay you properly!" The demonized Black twisted his neck, producing an ominous "cracking" sound.
Observing Black surrounded by raging demonic flames, Karnel felt a strong sense of crisis emanating from him. His expression grew solemn as caution filled his thoughts.
"I don't believe a dying fish has any chance of making a comeback," Karnel sneered dismissively, though internally he remained highly alert.
"I will return every bit of pain you inflicted on me tenfold! Haha!" Black laughed wildly. His body shifted slightly and vanished instantly, leaving only a demonic shadow where he had stood.
"His speed is much faster than before..." Karnel's heart jolted as his body shot away, the space around his crimson aura shattering into fragments.
The battle resumed!
On the Demon Star, the clash between god and half-demon god erupted once more. The boundless sky filled with demonic energy and murderous intent. Carrick II, ruler of this dimensional realm, remained silent and cowered in the shadows with his tail between his legs, watching in terror.
The aura surrounding Karnel surged to its absolute limit, shattering space wherever he passed and revealing the colorful lights of interdimensional passages beyond.
"Haha! I seem to possess endless energy in this world, Saiyan! Just wait to be destroyed by me!" Black grinned wickedly. As soon as he paused, demonic energy from across the entire realm rushed into his body, rapidly replenishing his violently consumed power.
Super Black Dragon Canon!
Black unleashed an energy blast with one hand that far exceeded his previous capabilities. The energy wave transformed into a massive black dragon, stirring up terrifying dark air currents as it streaked toward the distant crimson figure.
Karnel remained calm and said nothing, firing a red energy wave from his hands to meet the attack head-on.
In the sky above, two energy-formed dragons, one black, one red, bit and clawed at each other in an evenly matched struggle.
"Haha! Saiyan! Let's see who can outlast the other!" With endless demonic energy from the entire world continuously pouring into his body, Black shouted confidently.
Although Black had grown significantly stronger after his demonic transformation, Karnel's fighting ability remained comparable. It would still require considerable effort to defeat him, and killing him in this realm saturated with boundless demonic energy seemed nearly impossible.
Karnel sneered inwardly 'Let him be arrogant for now. Once I master this completely and can use it at will, that will be his death sentence.'

His mind sank into his inner awareness, gently coaxing like soothing a child, slowly calming and guiding the trace of temporal power within his divine core.
'Yes, it really works! Though it's not very obedient yet...'
Karnel was thrilled. The power of time could indeed be mobilized by his will. Although it was somewhat difficult, it shouldn't pose a major problem once he became more familiar with it.
Karnel continued maintaining full energy output with his hands to prevent his energy wave from being overwhelmed, while internally he slowly guided the temporal power, circulating it throughout his being to gradually familiarize himself with its nature.
