'A comfortable life is good.' Karnel lay there lazily on the sand, not moving a muscle, thinking of nothing in particular as he muttered contentedly to himself.
Since Karnel had sternly warned her not to use excessive force, Zangya naturally didn't dare disobey the terrifying man. However, she secretly decided to give this perverted old turtle a thorough beating within those limits.
Even though Zangya held back most of her strength, the weak Master Roshi still had little ability to fight back. In just a short while, his head and face were covered with bruises, and there were even two disgusting trails of blood streaming from his nose.
"What's all that racket?!"
The wooden door exploded outward with a furious kick as blonde Launch burst out, clutching a light machine gun and wearing an expression of pure rage.
"It's you again, you old pervert, bullying another innocent girl!" Launch cackled maniacally, apparently oblivious to who was actually doing the beating. "Go to hell! Hahaha!" She opened fire with her machine gun, spraying bullets at Master Roshi.
Master Roshi was utterly speechless, covering his head with both hands as he ran around in circles, shouting desperately, "Launch, look carefully! I'm not the one bullying the girl, I'm the one being bullied! Have pity on a poor old man... Ouch! Stop shooting!"
After venting her initial fury, Launch spotted the beautiful woman who had been attacking the old pervert. Seeing someone else handling the situation so thoroughly, her internal rage began to settle.
Zangya stopped her assault with relief, standing aside to watch the old pervert hop around frantically. She observed with cold eyes, secretly hoping in her heart that the weapon-wielding woman would finish him off.
Of course, that was impossible. Such primitive firearms were a joke to powerful martial artists. The bullets hitting Master Roshi only caused him minor discomfort at most.
Launch knew this perfectly well, which was why she could shoot so recklessly, it wasn't going to kill him anyway!
After a considerable time, Launch finally exhausted all her ammunition and walked back into Master Roshi's house with satisfaction.
"Master Roshi, how did it feel having all those things penetrate your body?" Karnel raised himself up on one elbow, sneering at the battered turtle hermit.
Master Roshi, thoroughly beaten and no longer daring to look at Zangya with lustful eyes, touched his plaid shirt that had been shredded by bullets and smiled bitterly. "That Launch has such a terrible temper. She's always playing with those violent firearms. Blue-haired Launch is so much cuter, she's gentle and can cook all sorts of delicious food."
He glanced nervously at Zangya, then whispered to Karnel, "Where did you kidnap this hot-tempered woman from? Not only is she beautiful, but she's incredibly powerful too. I noticed she was barely trying when she was fighting me."
Karnel smiled slightly and replied casually, "She's lived longer than you have. Ten thousand years ago, she apparently formed some trash team called the Galaxy Warriors with a few other moderately powerful scoundrels to pillage and plunder across the universe. Her strength is decent, but her reputation... not so much."
"Ten thousand years?!" Master Roshi's eyes nearly popped out of his skull.
Zangya bristled with indignation, speaking in a cold, dissatisfied voice: "Those were my companions, not scoundrels! Can you speak properly? Besides, our Galaxy Warriors were incredibly powerful ten thousand years ago. Back then, the four of us had no opponents in the entire universe who could defeat us. We weren't the trash team you claim! And you... you probably weren't even born yet."
"Haha, just a few words and you're already upset? You dare speak to me like that, how very brave of you!" Karnel sneered. "Even with all your boasting about yourself and your companions, in my opinion, the Galaxy Warriors were nothing but a pack of weaklings who couldn't make any real waves."
Zangya choked momentarily, her tone becoming noticeably softer, "I'm telling the truth. In that era, every enemy who dared confront us was completely annihilated. If we hadn't been suddenly ambushed by five strange-looking warriors who separated and sealed us on different planets, they might have died by our hands instead!"
Master Roshi interrupted with a sigh: "What exactly are these Galaxy Warriors? How can they live so long? From what you're saying, Karnel, it sounds like they weren't exactly good people."
Karnel chuckled and pointed at Zangya, "I'll let my housekeeper and maid explain this. After all, I didn't get the complete story before."
'Escape...I must escape!!!'
Hearing him call her a maid again, the anger in Zangya's heart threatened to explode. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, suppressing the grief and rage that made her want to punch this insufferable man in the face.
"There are only four of us Galaxy Warriors," Zangya explained through gritted teeth. "Besides me, there are Bido and Bujin. And our leader, Bojack, he's far stronger than I am!" When Zangya mentioned their leader, she glared at Karnel provocatively, as if to say, 'If you know what's good for you, release me quickly, or you'll be in serious trouble when my leader escapes.'
"What? You mean Bojack?" Karnel suddenly sat up, his voice filled with apparent shock.
Seeing the man called Karnel seemingly stunned by her leader's name, Zangya's face lit up with smugness: "Yes, you're scared now, aren't you? Then release me immediately!"
Pfft!
Seeing Zangya so proud, Karnel burst into laughter and said mockingly, "Sorry, I've never heard of this Bojack and couldn't care less. I was just pretending to tease you."
"BASTARD!!!"
Zangya's head felt ready to explode with rage. No longer caring about this man's terrifying strength, she launched a fist wreathed in energy straight at Karnel's chest.
His arm moved with fluid grace, easily catching Zangya's fist. Karnel laughed and said, "You're so hot-tempered that you can't even take a simple joke. If you're going to be my housekeeper and maid in the future, you absolutely cannot act like this!"
