Chapter 201 - Chapter 201: Magic Transmission Loss Theory

The Teacher had noticed Anaxa the moment he entered the classroom, harboring considerable resentment toward him. After all, Anaxa was sitting rather close to Hyacine—on one side, a charming girl sat upright with her legs neatly together, chest puffed out, listening attentively; on the other, a seemingly careless fellow slouched with one leg crossed over the other, sporting a peculiar eye patch.

The contrast was immediately striking. Any normal person would naturally prefer a well-behaved student like Hyacine.

Then, barely after the class had begun, Anaxa had been repeatedly raising his hand, "disrupting classroom order." Now, with this explosive challenge, the Teacher felt his anger ignite. Pointing his finger at Anaxa, he declared, "Perhaps in other countries or regions, you're revered as a Great Mage. But this is the Arcane Federation! The world's most authoritative Magic Holy Land!"

"What right does a hack wizard like you have to question me here?!"

Anaxa remained calm, shrugging his shoulders. "Based on the fundamental Magic Transmission Loss Theory you just presented, one of the principles is incorrect. I was just wondering, since you openly taught it in class, whether this so-called Magic Holy Land has been perpetuating this erroneous theory all along?"

"Ha?" The bespectacled teacher nearly laughed in exasperation. Magic theory is wrong?!

It was like standing up in a physics class in Anaxa's previous life and questioning the teacher, claiming Newton's first law was incorrect. The magic theory the teacher was explaining had been used for centuries. How could it possibly be wrong?

Perhaps because he was too furious, the teacher chuckled and said, "Then tell me, what exactly is wrong?"

Without hesitation, Anaxa left his seat and walked to the podium, pointing to a theory about Magic Transmission Loss.

This theory stated that whenever magic power was channeled into or activated through a Magic Item, approximately 20% of the magic power would be lost during transmission.

Countless Wizards had tried various methods to reduce this loss, but the lowest they could achieve was still 20%. Over time, this had become a universally accepted "fundamental principle."

In reality, Melly had already reduced the loss in Okhema to less than one percent. At that moment, Anaxa pulled out a brand-new 'bullet' from his pocket—freshly manufactured and devoid of any enchantments.

Holding the bullet in his left hand, Anaxa placed his right hand against its edge and began channeling Magic Power into it right in front of the Teacher.

The Teacher, arms crossed over his chest, initially watched Anaxa with disdain, seemingly curious about what tricks he might pull. But as he continued watching, the Teacher's eyes gradually widened, his expression shifting from disdain to shock. His mouth gaped open in utter disbelief.

"This... how is this even possible?!"

The Teacher was a Gold-tier Wizard—or more accurately, anyone teaching at this school had to be at least at the Gold-tier level. At such close range, he could clearly sense how much Magic Power Anaxa was pouring into the bullet, as well as how much remained within it.

At that moment, Anaxa handed the bullet to the Teacher, who swiftly extended his hands as if cradling a precious treasure. Trembling slightly, he accepted it, and after using his Perception, he could sense that the Magic Power stored within was precisely the amount Anaxa had just infused—virtually undiminished!

Or rather, the loss was so minimal that he could barely detect any difference at all!

Thud—

In the next instant, the Teacher abruptly knelt before Anaxa—or more accurately, before the 'Truth' itself.

Simultaneously, the students in the classroom were stunned by this spectacle, their faces etched with profound shock. Pela was particularly shaken. Earlier, when Anaxa had raised his hand to challenge the Teacher, she had anxiously tugged at Hyacine's sleeve, urging, "Quick, think of something! It's only the first day, and he's already arguing with the Teacher! If he makes a bad impression, what will happen later?!"

But Hyacine had replied calmly, "Don't worry. Professor Anaxa is incredibly skilled. You don't need to worry about him."

Pela was shocked. "It's not just about whether we're worried or not! He's already started denying the Federation's fundamental magical theories!"

The other students wore expressions of gleeful anticipation, eager to see if Anaxa would break the record for the fastest expulsion. Yet, within seconds, something utterly unexpected happened: the bespectacled teacher suddenly knelt.

"Huh?"

"Wait, what?"

"What's going on?"

Due to the distance and their limited Perception as students, they couldn't detect the subtle fluctuations in Magic Power or sense its depletion. But seeing the once-imposing teacher suddenly kneel left them utterly bewildered.

On his first day of school, during his first class, within ten minutes, a Gold-tier Wizard had knelt before a freshman? No one would believe this story if you told it!

At that moment, the bespectacled teacher spoke earnestly, "You're right. I'm not qualified to be your teacher..."

Even if Anaxa never achieved anything else in his life, the mere fact that he had reduced Magic Power loss by twenty percent would forever secure his place in the annals of the Arcane Federation!

Seizing the moment, Anaxa said, "To me, these fundamentally flawed magic theories of yours are utterly pointless to study. Would you mind recommending me for the advancement examination immediately?"

The bespectacled teacher replied without hesitation, "Of course! Of course!"

Below the stage, Pela watched the entire exchange with a stunned expression before turning to Hyacine beside her. "Your teacher... he's actually this incredible?"

Hyacine smiled gently. "Of course! That's why I told you not to worry about him from the start. You didn't believe me."

Pela fell silent, because this wasn't a matter of belief at all! It was like being in an ordinary high school and having a new friend tell you her teacher was Einstein—and then realizing Einstein was sitting nearby, taking the same class as you.

Who would believe that?!

Even more unbelievable, just minutes into the lesson, this "Einstein" began attacking the high school teacher, refuting fundamental theories, and succeeding!?!

Pela couldn't resist pinching her chubby cheek. She felt like she was in a dream.
