Chapter 211: The Peasus Family Tree

At a certain location, near the Peasus family cemetery, a gravestone was buried with a marker.

A person's name had disappeared. The grave had been dug up. The marker read: "Pesus."

Part of the stone was missing, making it impossible to read the full name in the grave. There were no remains on the tombstone.

At the stable, Thorem was injured. Thorem's hind leg had a large wound from a bony hand.

His body was bruised, the flesh was turning blue, and some red liquid was leaking out.

Blood was trickling down his head. A small hole was punctured in the center of his forehead. His front leg had a wound from a punch.

Pega bowed his head in apology to Thorem, his forehead pressed against the ground.

Thorem lay on the ground, a blue rope made from chain holding his nose.

Pega's apologetic voice came from within his soul.

Peka apologized profusely.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'll make it up to you!!"

Peka, feeling guilty, knelt down and apologized to the horse, Thorem.

Amidst the pile of horse corpses and the herd of human bones lying in disarray,

Behind Peka, the herd of bones was running towards Peka. There were over ten of them.

And one, strikingly, with white eyes, was running towards him, clutching something in its hand.

The sound of footsteps was approaching Peka little by little. Thud, thud, thud.

Peka continued to bow his head in apology.

The red eyes of the human bones were running towards Peka.

Ten bony hands swung and punched, attacking Peka from behind. Whoosh!

The ten hands attacked, intending to kill Peka.

An explosion came from behind Peka. Boom!

A blue light appeared, a wide barrage.

A man in white stood still. Holding a sword, the short-haired, white-haired Pixen Persus, the eldest brother of the Persus family, appeared.

Pixen stared at the white bones, trying to break through his own barrier.

Pixen's sword created a bolt of lightning. Boom! Lightning extended forward, slicing through the skeletons in front of him. Boom!

Pixen's voice was low and deep. "Peka, what are you doing? Kneeling to someone else?"

Pixen stared at the skeletons lying dead, his face expressionless.

Pixen heard a familiar voice and quickly turned to him. "Brother Pixen, what are you doing here?"

Pixen looked back, tears still streaming down his face.

Pixen turned to look at Peka. "You were kneeling to apologize to that horse. Was that what I saw?"

Pixen quickly wiped away his tears and nodded, "Yes. I feel guilty for leaving that horse behind. I'm sorry..."

Pixen spoke through the tears that wouldn't stop flowing.

Pixen's expression showed anger. The calm expression disappeared. "What did you say? You're bringing our Perseus family down."

Peka bowed his head in apology. "Sorry, sorry, sorry. I'm sorry. This is my fault. So, let me go. I'll take care of this place myself."

Pixen quickly grabbed Peka's neck and lifted her up into the air. Thud!

Ugh...? Peka was lifted into mid-air by the force of the squeezing.

"You've been kidnapped. Not only that, you now have to kneel and apologize to a lowly horse. My family is great.

What are you trying to do? Come out here alone.

You have a fiancé. Besides this, what else can you do? Tell me, Peka. Perseus. The Perseus family doesn't want useless people?"

Peka couldn't breathe, her mouth gaping open, veins showing from her eyes.

No breath could escape her mouth.

Peka couldn't breathe. Peka's body didn't respond.

"I, I... I..."

Peka's eyes gazed at the beautiful moon, reflecting the image of the horse Thorem, who had flown across it.

Peka thought back to his past. This place was the home of the Perseus family.

His parents were arguing at the dining table. A large amount of food was placed in the center of the table.

There were no servants. Mother and father sat opposite each other, and Peka sat far behind the head of the table, overlooking the dreary scenery.

A lightbulb lit up, and his father's face showed anger as he glared at Mother Peka.

"What do you mean? This child has no cultivation ability!"

"Yes, this child has no cultivation ability. I've asked people and made many cultivation pills.

But no matter what I do, I can't stimulate our child to awaken."

Father Peka stared angrily. The dining table was smashed to the floor. Whoosh! Boom!

The food on the table was uneatable, and a hole appeared. "What did you do? Do you know that not being able to cultivate means Peka will become an ordinary person!"

Mother Peka sat silently, her expression remaining calm. "I know. So, we'll have Peka marry the son of Elder Lanna. That'll end the matter.

Our child will live a comfortable life. Our daughter is beautiful, so no one will dare harm her!

Peka's father stared at his wife. The table exploded with a loud bang! He slapped it with his right hand. Boom!

"What did you do? Peka should have the ability to train. What have you been doing behind my back lately?

Don't think I don't know?"

Peka's mother's calm expression turned angry. "What did you say? Are you saying I'm having an affair? Is that what you think!?"

"Of course! Where have you been lately? I've seen you go out a lot!?"

Peka's mother stood up from the table. "Don't bring me any more blood! I won't stop being angry!"

Peka's mother lunged across the table. Pewwww!

Peka's mother lunged forward. A white light appeared, the shape of two white wings.

Bird-shaped wings appeared at Peka's feet.

A white light struck Peka's father's face. Whoosh!

Father Peka swung his fist to block the attack. Whoosh! Boom!

White wings spread out, growing larger. "You old man, give in! You're acting all conceited!"

Boom! Father Peka burst through the wall! Boom!

Peka was shocked as the fight began. Fear was evident. Peka sat there shaking with fear.

Mother Peka stood on a chair, staring at the hole in the wall.

Father Peka walked out of the hole. "What are you going to do?"

"How about we kill you?"

The two charged into a fight. Boom! Boom!

A year later, Mother Peka lay on the bed. In the bedroom, an old woman, a nurse, stood beside her bed, and Peka, crying out.

"Sobbing... Mom... Mom... Don't hurt yourself... There must be a cure. So try your best!"

Why did this happen? Please, Mom, live on. I beg you.

Don't hurt yourself. I'll be good and obedient. So be strong... sob...!!"

Pega cried out in pain.

Pega's mother lay on the bed, her face bearing the marks of bird wings.

She still had a smile on her face. "Don't worry, Mom. She'll be fine. Be strong. Now, get out. I still have plenty of energy left. So, go. I still have things to discuss with others."

Pega's mother lay there with a dry body, as if something had sucked her away, leaving only bones. Her body was thin and malnourished.

The guard who had been standing guard walked over, grabbed Peega's hand, and led her out of the room.

After a while, a man walked into the room and closed the door. "Sorry I'm late, Mom. Is something wrong?"

The person who entered was Pixen, with a calm expression.

Pega's mother beckoned. With growing less and less strength,

"Come closer to me, Pixen. Come closer. I have something to tell you."

Pixen stood close to her mother and bent down close to her sleeping position.

So she could hear what she had to say.

"Pixen, I won't be around much longer, so this is the last thing I'll say."

The mother turned to look at Pixen, whose expression was calm and her red eyes stared calmly.

"This may be the last thing I'll ask you to help me with.

Would you mind listening to my request?"

Pixen expressed slight doubt. "What is it?"

"I saw a vision of the future. A young woman with white wings, riding a white horse, soaring across the sky.

The horse was white, so I wanted to help that child. If you ever see that, please help that child."

"A white horse? But why should I help? "

"In the Perseus prophecy, the ancestor of the Perseus family prophesied that in a thousand years, something would be born.

One who would break the rules and soar across the sky with pure, white wings.

Run above others, rule over all, create pure, white wings, and break the rules for others. This was the highest wish of the first generation of the family.

The warning sign was that I, with white wings, appeared on my body.

Never forget this. This is something that must be passed down from generation to generation."

Pixen reached out and held her mother's hand. "I understand."
