While Tony kept Alioth busy in the distance, a square orange portal suddenly flared open on a barren stretch of the Void.
"Wow! Is this the Void? The one crawling with Lokis?" Deadpool stepped out backward, arms wide. "B-15, be honest—are there other superheroes here? Thor? The one who's destined to weep while holding me?"
The TVA hunter, B-15, emerged behind him, calm as ever. "I'm afraid it's not what you think, Mr. Wilson. There aren't many living beings here. The Void has a creature that erases everything it touches. It's why nothing survives."
"So you're saying even the Avengers might've been here, but poof, buffet time?" Deadpool threw his hands to his face. "Oh my angel, this place is colder than Gotham!"
He spun dramatically toward Malrick, who was the last to exit with the Spider-People. "Right, Clark?"
Malrick shut the portal with a glance and replied flatly, "Ask Batman."
B-15 stepped forward, shaking her head. "Wilson, you brought them here for Wolverine, not the Avengers. If you want to save your friend, focus. The storm creature, Alioth, isn't the only threat. Cassandra Nova is here too. If you waste time, Logan may not have any left."
Deadpool planted his fists on his hips. "Oh, Logan's in danger? Shocker. Bet he's already found himself a rebound boyfriend with a hood."
"Why do you say that?" B-15 frowned.
"Uh, sorry to interrupt," Holland's Spider-Man cut in, pointing to a wreckage nearby. "Over there—those two lying on the ground. One looks exactly like Wolverine in the picture you showed us."
Everyone turned. Two bodies were collapsed in the dirt, one sprawled over the other. The man beneath was unmistakably Wolverine. The one on top wore a ragged hood.
Deadpool gasped loudly, clutching both cheeks. "My angel baby! I was worried about this hairy old wolf just a minute ago, and now look at him—already cuddling someone new!"
The Spider-People ignored him, swarming the scene.
"They don't look hurt, just unconscious," Gwen noted.
"Still hugging awfully tight though," Holland quipped.
Malrick scanned the wreckage calmly. "Looks like booster debris. They must've fallen from the sky. Logan broke the fall, so neither died."
B-15 crouched down, scanning Wolverine with her Time Pad. The screen confirmed the truth. "It's him. Same signature as before."
"Called it!" Deadpool clapped like a child. "Bee-colored suit, grumpy stare—classic Logan. But who's under door number two?" He tugged at the stranger's hood, revealing a scruffy yet ruggedly handsome face.
Deadpool froze. Then he staggered back, pointing with both hands. "He's him! He's that man!"
Gwen groaned. "Dramatic much. Who is it?"
"Sexiest Man Alive! The fantasy of every audience member!" Deadpool whispered like it was a state secret.
"Captain?" Holland's Spider-Man blurted, squatting beside the man. His eyes widened. "It's Captain America. But… how? He's not supposed to be here. I haven't seen him in forever, nobody even mentions him anymore…"
B-15 shook her head. "Peter, he's not the Captain America from your world. And where yours is now… well, that's private." She tapped her Time Pad, reopening a glowing doorway. "Mission complete. We found Wolverine, so we're leaving."
The young heroes hesitated, disappointed. They had expected a dangerous mission in this strange place, not to stumble over Logan within minutes.
B-15 noticed and said briskly, "You're with the TVA now. You'll return to the Void again. Today, we go back."
"Wait." Malrick stopped her, his tone sharp. His senses locked onto the battlefield miles away. "Someone's wielding Infinity Stones here. Doesn't the TVA care?"
B-15's head snapped toward him. "Impossible. All Stones pruned from the timelines are stored in TVA custody. None should exist here."
Malrick's eyes narrowed, golden light flickering. With his enhanced vision and hearing, he caught sight of Tony fighting Alioth, Wanda locked in combat with a bald woman brimming with energy. Recognition hit him.
"That's Stark. That's Wanda. From my world." His gaze slid to the opponent. A chill ran through him. "At first I thought it was the Ancient One. No—it's Cassandra Nova. Xavier's sister."
B-15's face hardened. "Are you saying she's using Infinity Stones?"
"Yes. The Time Stone and the Reality Stone."
Her expression darkened. "This is worse than I thought. We've only managed a fragile balance with her until now. If she truly has Stones…"
"She only has two," Malrick cut in. "It's dangerous, but not apocalyptic. Unless she gathers all six."
He remembered clearly: six Stones together could rewrite reality itself. Thanos hadn't exaggerated when he said he could erase the universe. But with only two, the power was limited.
"I'm going to retrieve two people," Malrick added, his eyes steady. "While I'm at it, I'll deal with Cassandra."
And with that, he vanished from sight.
Deadpool tilted his head. "Picking people up? Who does he know here? Don't tell me it's Supergirl and Flash."
B-15 scowled. "Wilson—"
"Don't wait too long!" Deadpool cut her off. "Universe reset buttons are twitchy!" Then he stopped and blinked. "Hey, look. Wolfie's awake!"
Wolverine's eyes opened, his battered body tensing.
"Hi, I'm Peter Parker, from—" Holland began cheerfully, but Logan barely heard him. His gaze found Deadpool, and his face twisted into pure rage.
"F*** you, you stupid idiot!" he growled, teeth bared.
