Malrick occasionally take time to create one or two world rings. Over the years, he had accumulated dozens of them.
The smallest ring held a world with a diameter of several hundred kilometers, while the largest stretched over ten million.
Among these, a few had been promised as prizes for victory in sparring matches—gifts meant for Banner, Wanda, and a few others.
The rest he had created for future contingencies.
Malrick casually took out two rings, each with a diameter of about a hundred kilometers, and handed them to the two women standing before him.
If one were to compare wealth, no one on Earth could rival Malrick.
He could, quite literally, take out a small world filled with untapped ores and resources.
Owning one of his world rings was like owning an entire miniature planet.
However, these pocket worlds lacked light or life. To make them habitable, they would need further modification.
Diana and Kara accepted the rings, then followed Malrick's instructions, channeling their consciousness into them.
"What a massive space!" Diana exclaimed in awe. "Malrick, you can actually create something like this?"
Kara's eyes widened as well. "It's like carrying an entire world with you. Can Kryptonians do anything like this?"
"This isn't a Kryptonian ability," Malrick explained with a faint smile. "It's more like a talent I've gained at my current level. What do you think, Diana? How about storing Paradise Island inside the ring?"
Diana frowned and thought for a few seconds before shaking her head.
"I don't want my mother and the others to remain isolated anymore," she said softly. "Wonder Woman told me that Paradise Island has been cut off from the world for too long.
When Steppenwolf invaded, they couldn't even call for help. I don't want it to be that way again.
If possible, could you take me to see Kamar-Taj's pocket dimension instead?"
She handed the ring back to Malrick. Kara followed silently, returning hers as well.
"Going to Kamar-Taj is fine," Malrick said with a raised eyebrow, "but what are you two doing?"
Diana shook her head.
"These rings are too valuable. I can't take it."
Kara stayed quiet, only looking at him with calm insistence, signaling for him to take it back.
Malrick sighed dramatically.
"So one of you was ready to steal jewels from your mother to support me, and the other wanted to move bricks to earn money for me. But now, when I want to take care of you, you both refuse?"
He pinched their cheeks firmly.
"This is different…" Kara mumbled, flustered.
"How is it different?" Malrick teased with a grin. "It's the first time I've given you both a gift. Think carefully before saying no."
Diana and Kara both froze instantly.
They remembered that same grin from the times when they'd tried to talk their way out of training punishments. This time, neither dared to resist.
Diana looked at the ring in conflict, then up at Malrick.
A moment later, she smiled.
"If I'm not even allowed to refuse," she said softly, her tone turning playful, "then shouldn't you put it on me yourself, Malrick?"
She lifted her arm, her slender hand hanging gracefully in front of him, while the other rested gently on his chest. Her gaze shimmered with unmistakable charm.
Kara frowned slightly from beside them, quietly activating her Kryptonian enhanced brain to observe and… learn.
Malrick blinked in mild surprise, then chuckled.
"Alright."
He took Diana's smooth, elegant fingers and slipped the world ring onto her middle finger.
"How's that?"
Before he could pull away, Kara's hand appeared from the other side—wordless, but her expression clearly said: I want one too.
"Fine, fine," Malrick sighed with amusement. He slipped the other ring onto Kara's middle finger.
Kara withdrew her hand and admired it proudly.
But Diana leaned closer and said, "Not yet, Malrick."
She held up her left hand, turning the back toward him, then slowly slid the ring off her middle finger.
"Not this position," she said.
Diana rotated the ring once, then placed it on her ring finger, pressing it all the way down.
"It feels more fitting here," she added with a wink. "Wonder Woman told me this."
Malrick's lips parted as if to ask whether she knew what that gesture meant—but before he could speak, something yanked sharply at his neck.
If the force had been applied to anyone else, they would've been snapped in half.
He turned toward Kara, who pursed her lips and removed her ring, sliding it onto her ring finger as well.
"Why are you doing that too?" Malrick asked, half exasperated.
"Lois wears hers there," Kara replied quickly. She clearly didn't want to admit she was copying Diana. "I learned it from human culture."
Of course, Lois had never actually told her that, but Kara's super-brain was in full analytical mode—it didn't take her long to figure it out.
"Alright, alright," Malrick said, raising his hands in mock surrender. "Just keep the rings. Now let's head to Kamar-Taj and relocate Paradise Island."
How the rings were worn didn't matter much to him.
After all, the two women had followed him across universes.
The most romantic elopements in history usually involved running away to another city—or at most, a distant mountain.
But Diana and Kara had followed him through dimensions, into a completely different universe.
They hadn't asked about the future, hadn't brought anything, and hadn't hesitated.
That kind of trust and devotion meant more than any symbolic gesture.
Malrick opened a portal, slicing through dimensions, and stepped directly into Kamar-Taj's pocket world.
It was nighttime there.
Moonlight filtered through the dimensional veil, blanketing the serene landscape in silver light.
He instructed JARVIS to look after Tony, then led Diana and Kara onto the soft grass.
The sight was breathtaking—cool moonlight spilling across forests, meadows, and lakes. Moon beasts gathered on the hills, lifting their heads to absorb the moon's glow. Unicorns drank from a crystal stream, their pale bodies glimmering under the light.
The entire world looked like a painting—tranquil, pure, and beautiful.
Diana and Kara stood still, lost in wonder. The peace and beauty here stirred something deep within them—a yearning to stay.
Malrick guided them through the forest and over the hills, passing a group of small fire dragons circling the air like pigeons. He couldn't help but wonder how Banner had been training them lately.
Maybe the Hulk had taught them obedience—with his fists.
Soon, they reached a massive lake at the world's center, spanning nearly two hundred kilometers.
"What do you think?" Malrick asked, gesturing toward it. "Would this be a good place?"
Diana looked around, her eyes bright.
"It's perfect. If my mother doesn't agree, I'll convince her."
Since Diana approved, Malrick didn't hesitate.
He took out Paradise Island and placed it within the vast lake.
Against the immense waters, the island didn't look too large.
Using his control over the world's energy, Malrick connected Paradise Island's base to the crust below, anchoring it in place. Then he, Diana, and Kara descended onto the island.
At that same moment, within his inner world, Malrick's consciousness turned toward the sky.
The three Infinity Stones—Space, Time, and Reality—floated high above the landscape, glowing brightly once more after their long dormancy in the DC Universe.
Malrick formed a hand seal drawn from the Book of Cagliostro, and the Time Stone erupted in a blaze of green light.
Time began to accelerate.
Tenfold. A hundredfold.
The acceleration increased rapidly, and energy consumption climbed just as fast.
He then activated the Space Stone. Among the six Infinity Stones, it was one of the most crucial—it could fuel the others.
With its endless stream of blue energy, the rate of acceleration skyrocketed.
Soon, time within his inner world flowed ten thousand times faster.
At that speed, everything moved in turbulence—the elements themselves boiled and churned. Even the stars seemed like streaks of moving light.
It was impossible to comprehend laws under such conditions, which was why Malrick usually limited it to a thousandfold at most. But this time, he needed the speed—for the gestation of his Regedo Clone.
"Remaining gestation time: ninety-nine years, three hundred fifty-five days,"
"At ten thousand times acceleration, that'll be only three days in real time," Malrick murmured, satisfied.
