The duties of the Devourer of Worlds mirrored those of the Celestials. In the Marvel Universe, every cosmic role had its occupant, forming a vast, slightly bloated administrative network. Malrick now counted himself among its ranks and had benefited immensely, leaving him no room for complaint.
After helping Galactus escape the throes of extreme hunger, Malrick received a small feedback of power, relative to the current strength of his Rege Duo Clone. But even a little gain mattered, and he was more than willing to help.
"Even if you must feed again," Malrick thought, "you can always come to me."
Galactus regarded him deeply. "I will. Thank you, my newborn brother, concept of justice and order." He seemed to perceive the very essence of Malrick's being and offered a warning: "Your potential is immense. Grow stronger in your own way."
"Many Universes are falling into chaos. Even I teeter on the edge of control. Soon, a crisis will shake the multiverse. You must be ready."
Like Eternity, Galactus offered Malrick a careful reminder.
"You don't even know what this crisis is?" Malrick mused. "These cosmic beings are more like riddlers than informants."
"I do not know, for I might be part of it," Galactus replied.
He gestured around the God Realm Dimension. "This is a fine Dimension, full of potential like you. Perhaps you will survive what is to come."
"I must go. Thank you for your help. In the future, if you need me, find me. Eternity or the Celestials can guide you to my location."
"I will." Malrick felt like an urban doctor who had just cured a powerful figure and received a promise in return. Only in this case, it was Galactus.
"I'll send you off," Malrick said, opening a passage for Galactus and Galan.
Galan hesitated, glancing back three times at Malrick, her gaze reluctant, like a child longing for cake. Both father and son noticed her state. Galactus paused, considering the better option for his daughter: she could stay safely, free from hunger and danger.
Malrick tilted his head thoughtfully. "Galan, those snails, stone people, and other creatures all miss you. Do you want to stay for a few days?"
"Eh? Really?" Galan's eyes sparkled as she nodded vigorously. "I… I miss them too. I'd love to stay! Is that okay?"
Malrick's expression softened. "I see no reason to refuse."
"Really? You're amazing!" Galan leapt up, black hair rippling like waves.
Even Galactus smiled at their exchange.
"If I remember, after absorbing energy, you can create stars, right?" Malrick asked.
"In exchange, Galan, I'll provide food, and you help me expand the Dimension. Deal?"
Galan's mind leapt with joy. To be fed without devouring life, to receive delicious meals—she had never imagined such happiness.
Satisfied, Galactus finally departed. "Take care of her, Malrick. If you need me, call."
Galan remained joyful, quickly nourished by Malrick once more. After her meal, she patted her small belly and darted into the spiral galaxy to play with the local creatures.
Malrick returned to his original plan, leaving the Rege Duo Clone and the sea of blood on the God Realm Continent. His main body, accompanied by the Black Light Clone, set off for home.
Having broken through to Law Master, even without the Rege Duo Clone, Malrick could move swiftly within the Realm of Split. This realm had no fixed rules, so even the Infinity Stones' functions were reduced. But now, with Law Master power, Malrick's divine power contained all the rules he had comprehended.
When he spread his divine power through space, it was as if a domain of rules unfolded, allowing him to manipulate the environment and enforce his control. With the Six-Gem Rules forming the Universe's skeleton, he could construct a rudimentary Universe at will, suppressing enemies instantly.
His range extended beyond millions of light-years; within it, he could wield the Six-Gem Rules like Infinity Stones. Normally redundant due to his possession of all six Stones, this ability ensured his strength remained unaffected in other Worlds where the Stones might be limited.
"Becoming a Law Master is indeed convenient," Malrick mused.
His divine power radiated vibrant colors, forming a rule-based domain. Within it, he constructed an illusory rudimentary Universe, breaking through the Realm of Split's barriers into the Outer Dimensions. In seconds, he returned to the Earth Dimension, bypassing Vishanti's defensive array entirely.
If demon gods like Mephisto or Dormammu knew Malrick possessed this skill, they would surely beg him for passage.
Upon arrival, the six Infinity Stones in the world ring resumed full operation, energy flowing back into Malrick, returning him to his supercharged state.
"The amplification here is stronger than in the God Realm Dimension, though unfortunately, the Stones cannot function outside the Marvel Cinematic Universe," Malrick sighed, gazing up at the starry sky.
