Altria's vow echoed across the gathered knights.
Her deep blue eyes were steady and resolute.
When she finished speaking, she drew her longsword and presented it to Eriyi with both hands.
Eriyi had witnessed many oath ceremonies back in the Yasha family, but this was different.
This was an ancient European knight's pledge of loyalty.
For a girl who adored stories and legends, it struck her straight in the heart.
Her expression tightened with seriousness, her eyes shimmering.
She accepted the sword and, imitating the ritual as carefully as she could, gently tapped Altria's shoulders with the flat of the blade.
"I accept your loyalty, Knight Altria. From this day onward, you are my Chief Knight."
Malrick, standing nearby, could not help but smile.
The sight was strangely surreal.
The true King Arthur now knelt as a knight, while Eriyi and Altria both wore solemn expressions that felt slightly mismatched, no matter how one looked at it.
After the short ceremony ended, Eriyi did not immediately return the Sword of Promised Victory.
Instead, she plunged the Sword in the Stone back into the ground, then drew the Oath Sword that Malrick had forged for her.
She raised both swords and crossed them above her forehead.
"Excalibur!"
During her passage through the Age of Gods, the Holy Grail's magic had transformed Eriyi.
She now possessed magic circuits and the heart of a Red Dragon.
This time, she successfully unleashed the power.
Twin pillars of golden light surged into the sky, forcing apart the clouds as radiant ripples spread outward.
In that moment, Eriyi seemed like a divine figure standing upon the earth.
Any remaining doubt among the knights vanished.
This was their King.
And so began the legend of King Arthur Eriyi Pendragon.
...
First month.
King Arthur Eriyi Pendragon dispatched her first and only great general, Altria, to pacify southern England.
Within a single month, the Red Dragon entered Camelot, the White City.
From there, Camelot became the base from which the fractured kingdoms were unified.
Second month.
Whenever Altria's army encountered resistance, King Arthur herself would appear.
She transformed into a giant and subdued all opposition with miraculous light, the Full Moon Wave.
Wherever the light reached, even the most brutal and corrupt lords would kneel in tears, confessing their sins.
Third month.
All fragmented cities and kingdoms submitted to King Arthur's rule.
The name of the King of Knights resounded across Britain.
Heroes and knights from every land donned armor and journeyed to Camelot to swear allegiance.
Thus, the Knights of the Round Table were formally established.
Chief Knight Altria swore with her sword angled eastward that she would never allow betrayal against King Arthur.
Yet because she was too upright and impartial, rumors quietly spread within the order that the Chief Knight did not understand human nature.
Fourth month.
Winter arrived, and the problems caused by rapid expansion surfaced all at once.
Many cities lacked food and proper clothing, and the newly absorbed armies were disorganized.
Merlin, acting as strategist, proposed abandoning the outer cities, shortening supply lines, and preparing defenses against the Saxon threat from the north.
The white-haired mage was promptly slammed against a wall by the first strategist, Malrick.
Malrick stepped forward and declared that the King was chosen by heaven and would naturally be favored by it.
That very day, rice and meat fell from the sky over Camelot.
It was said that night, Chief Knight Altria wept openly.
She held a chicken leg in one hand and rice in the other, eating until late into the night, declaring it the happiest meal of her life.
The following day, endless supply convoys departed Camelot.
From then on, no one in Britain failed to praise the benevolence of King Arthur Eriyi.
Fifth month.
The army marched north, crushing the Saxons and reclaiming lost lands.
Sixth month.
The White Dragon Vortigern finally intervened.
Its army was defeated.
When it entered the battlefield itself, it was subdued by the Full Moon Wave.
Britain achieved complete peace.
However, King Arthur Eriyi had no desire for further conquest.
When Kay and Gawain suggested attacking Rome to the south, she refused.
Years passed quietly.
Britain reached the end of the Age of Gods.
As mystery faded, productivity declined.
At that time, Strategist Malrick opened a dimensional world and named it Avalon, the Land of Eternity.
King Arthur Eriyi led her people into Avalon, where they would live in lasting peace.
...
"It is said that after entering Avalon, King Arthur Eriyi refused to marry and instead established a constitutional monarchy, appointing Altria as Prime Minister."
Malrick closed the biography in his hand.
"Everything matches the legends. The Age of Gods fades, King Arthur withdraws from history. How is this even considered a Singularity?"
Standing before him were Fujimaru Ritsuka and Mash from Chaldea.
They had recently intruded into Avalon, speaking of Singularities and the Incineration of Human History.
They were swiftly captured by Altria and brought to Malrick.
"The Singularity here barely affects proper history," Fujimaru said nervously. "But the Doctor said you could help us save the world."
"The Doctor," Malrick murmured. "So the Counter Force spoke through him."
It seemed even the world preferred to use intermediaries when dealing with him.
"Incineration of Human History," Malrick said calmly. "That is simple."
He snapped his fingers.
The scenery shifted instantly, and they found themselves outside the universe itself.
Before anyone could react, Malrick flicked his finger again, detaching several world bubbles from the cluster of universes.
"Those Singularities are now independent," he said. "They no longer affect proper history. The Incineration is over."
Fujimaru stood frozen.
The crisis was resolved just like that.
"Then… what about Goetia?" she asked weakly.
Malrick glanced in a distant direction.
The mastermind perished instantly.
"He is dead. You may return."
With another snap, Fujimaru and Mash were sent back to Chaldea.
Years passed.
Chaldea returned again.
"Lostbelts? An Alien God?" Malrick scoffed. "You really treat me like a savior."
This time, he did not intervene directly.
Instead, he sent Eriyi and Altria.
Together with the others, they traversed Lostbelt after Lostbelt, resolving each crisis.
Eriyi enjoyed the journey.
Altria matured after confronting another Lion King in the Round Table Domain Lostbelt.
After they returned to Avalon, another decade passed.
On this day, Malrick finally emerged from seclusion.
"I have comprehended everything," he said with a satisfied breath. "Come on, Eriyi. Let's find a world with great food."
"Food?" Altria immediately appeared, her eyes lighting up. "What kind of food?"
