Chapter 127 - Chapter 129 Special Planet

Thinking about why his father, Howard, would hide the truth about the Tesseract, Tony suddenly realized that his father's death might not have been so simple. He believed that if Howard had gone as far as hiding his research into the new energy source based on the Tesseract, it wasn't due to technical limitations of the era.

After all, Howard Stark was the man who had developed anti-gravity systems during World War II. Tony couldn't believe someone like that would be constrained by the times.

So Tony came to one conclusion: the only reason Howard would keep such findings a secret was because revealing them at that time could have led to catastrophic consequences for him.

Of course, all of this was still just speculation. But Tony was determined to investigate—sooner or later, he would uncover the truth.

"Thor, this is for you."

After handing the suitcase to Thor, Clark handed him a key.

"This is the key to Loki's handcuffs. When you're fully ready, you can unlock them."

Thor accepted the key, looked around at the group, nodded, then pulled Loki close. Raising his head to the sky, he shouted:"Heimdall, open the Bifrost!"

In response to Thor's words, the sky darkened with clouds. A brilliant rainbow beam shot down from the heavens, enveloping Thor and Loki.

With a final wave, the two brothers vanished into the light, leaving behind a glowing rune on the ground.

"That was incredible!" Tony and Banner couldn't help but exclaim—it was their first time witnessing the Bifrost.

Standing nearby, Clark felt something different this time. As the Bifrost descended, he suddenly understood something—not how the Bifrost operated exactly, but how to replicate its effect himself.

He pondered for a moment, and suspected this new realization had something to do with the Tesseract energy still within his body. After all, aside from gaining the energy of two Infinity Stones, nothing else had changed recently.

So Clark believed that this strange new ability was somehow linked to that power.

"Should I test it?" he thought.

Deciding to go with the flow, Clark suppressed the strange feeling, then tapped into the Tesseract energy inside him. But perhaps due to the lack of some kind of "dark energy," he couldn't activate the ability just by waving his hands. He needed to accelerate briefly.

"Diana, do you want to go on a trip?" Clark turned to Diana with a smile. He figured—why not take a quick little journey?

"Where to?" Diana was momentarily stunned by the question, then asked instinctively.

"I don't know. Hopefully not too far."In truth, Clark wasn't sure either. He had a hunch that the Tesseract energy allowed him to travel like the Bifrost—but he had never actually tested it.

And he didn't want to go alone. Two is better than one. But the companion had to be chosen carefully. For example, he definitely wasn't bringing Tony or Steve.

First of all—they're both men. If Clark traveled across space with another guy, wouldn't that make things awkward? Secondly, he had no idea where he might end up. What if he landed in deep space?

If he brought a regular human, that person would probably die immediately. So if someone was going with him, it had to be someone who could survive anywhere.

Among everyone present, there was only one woman who met that standard: Diana.

After thinking for a moment, Diana decided she didn't really have anything pressing to do. Since Clark wanted to travel, she'd go with him. What she didn't realize was that "a short trip" might include leaving the solar system.

Once she agreed, Clark said a few quick words to Tony and the others, then wrapped his arm around Diana's waist and launched into the sky.

As Clark accelerated to high speed, he felt as if something inside him had been triggered. It was like flipping a mental switch.

That was the moment he'd been waiting for.

He willed the switch open—and suddenly felt himself enter a "Bifrost-like" state. The scenery around them blurred and streaked rapidly as they traveled.

But unlike the Bifrost, Clark was in control. He could choose direction. He could zig-zag, change paths, speed up, or stop at will.

When Clark came to a halt for the first time, he found himself in a completely unfamiliar star system.

Looking down, he saw Diana still in his arms, gazing around in wide-eyed confusion. Clark had said they were just going for a little trip—so how did they end up in a place like this?

Clark paused only briefly, then took off again at faster-than-light speed. In truth, if his brain wasn't strong enough, there'd be no way he could process anything at these speeds—let alone steer.

In this "Bifrost Mode," Clark could cross multiple star systems in a single second. And he could tell: the faster he was, the faster this interstellar travel became.

He couldn't match the Bifrost yet—but he believed that in the near future, he would surpass even that.

Not long after setting off again, Clark detected a living planet ahead. The reason he sensed it was because once his speed exceeded the speed of light, his vision essentially became useless.

At that point, everything he saw might have been from 10 days ago—or it might suddenly snap back to the present. It was like time itself was skipping.

Even Clark's brain struggled to handle it. That's why, while flying, he didn't rely on vision. He relied on senses—cosmic perception that fed him information.

Upon detecting a planet filled with life, Clark adjusted course slightly and headed toward it. In fact, he had already sensed several other life-sustaining worlds on the way—but this one felt different.

This planet's spatial structure felt like a sieve—full of holes. Curious, Clark chose to investigate.

With one more hyperspace jump, he and Diana arrived at this distant world that had seemed so far away just moments ago.

Unlike the Bifrost, which left behind visible marks, Clark's arrival was silent. No rainbows. No portals. Just a sudden appearance—and they were there.
