Chapter 75 - Chapter 74: The Rise of the Uchiha Sovereign

The air was heavy around the Academy grounds.

Sasuke's proud words echoed again and again, his tone filled with arrogance and certainty.

Naruto stood beside him, fists clenched, face twisted in discomfort.

Every word Sasuke spoke about his brother — about Itachi, the so-called genius of the Uchiha — pierced through Naruto's chest like a knife.

He hated that feeling.

That gnawing sense of inferiority.

He had no parents, no family, no brother to boast about — and yet, here was Sasuke, surrounded by admiration and attention, especially from the girls who giggled at every word he said.

Naruto turned away, but the jealousy in his eyes was impossible to hide.

Shikamaru, who had been quiet till now, finally opened his mouth, his tone calm but sharp.

"Hey, look closely," he said, pointing toward the massive Susanoo in the distance. "That's not Itachi."

Everyone froze.

Sasuke frowned, his pride immediately flaring. "What do you mean?" he snapped, glaring at Shikamaru. "Are you jealous of my brother's power too?"

Shikamaru sighed and rubbed the back of his neck lazily, but his eyes remained fixed on the towering Susanoo.

"I'm serious. Look carefully. The chakra… the aura… it's different."

Sasuke scoffed. He didn't want to hear it.

But curiosity gnawed at him. Slowly, his eyes turned toward the colossal figure.

For a brief moment, his breath caught.

That wasn't Itachi.

The figure standing at the heart of the glowing behemoth wasn't the calm and composed brother he admired.

It was someone else entirely.

Sasuke's expression changed from pride to disbelief.

The murmurs of the students grew louder.

Ino's eyes widened. "Then… who is it?" she whispered.

Even Sakura, who had been swooning over Sasuke seconds ago, was now staring at the Susanoo in awe and confusion.

Shikamaru spoke again, voice low but steady.

"I don't know who that is… but I'm sure. It's not Itachi Uchiha."

The words hit like a shockwave.

Sasuke turned to him with an angry glare. "So what if it's not my brother? He's still from my clan! It's still the power of the Uchiha!"

Naruto smirked, seeing his rival flustered for once. "Heh, looks like even you don't know who your own clan members are, Sasuke!"

Sasuke turned instantly, glaring at Naruto. "Shut up, dobe!"

They were at each other's throats again, like always, bickering under the shadow of a god-like power towering above them.

But before their voices could echo further — the Susanoo began to dissolve.

The enormous figure of chakra and armor faded into shimmering light, vanishing as if swallowed by the rising sun.

Everyone around stared in silence.

Then, from the heart of the dispersing energy, a single figure appeared.

It was Indra Uchiha.

His gaze was cold, his expression unreadable. His presence alone demanded silence.

Even the wind seemed to stop, as though afraid to touch him.

He looked over the crowd of Uchiha standing behind him — and then at the remaining Hokage loyalists still trembling from earlier.

"From today onward," Indra's voice echoed across the ruins of the battlefield, deep and commanding, "the Uchiha will take full control of Konoha."

His tone left no room for argument.

"Not a single person leaves this village. Anyone who resists… dies."

No one dared to breathe.

Not the elders. Not the Anbu. Not the civilians peering from afar.

And then, in the blink of an eye, Indra vanished.

No one saw where he went — only a swirl of chakra remained where he had stood.

Setsuna Uchiha, his grandfather, stood proudly among the clan members. His lips curled into a faint smile.

The others, however, looked stunned, trying to process what they had just heard.

Then, slowly, understanding dawned.

The command had been clear.

A sudden energy burst through the clan — Uchiha members turned toward each other, eyes glinting with excitement and a newfound purpose.

For years, they had been watched, distrusted, confined. Now, power was finally in their hands.

"All units," an elder shouted, his voice trembling yet fierce. "Move out! Secure the Hokage building first!"

The once quiet streets of Konoha erupted into motion.

Uchiha shinobi appeared on rooftops and alleyways, spreading through the village like a dark wave.

Every clan and faction that had once opposed them was quickly surrounded.

The Sarutobi, Shimura, Aburame, and Inuzuka compounds were immediately occupied.

Those who resisted were swiftly restrained — their weapons seized, their movements monitored.

No bloodshed occurred yet — not because of mercy, but because fear ruled stronger than defiance.

The message was clear:

This was no longer the Hokage's village.

This was Indra Uchiha's Konoha.

Inside the Hokage's office, the few remaining elders — Homura Mitokado and Koharu Utatane — sat with pale faces, unable to move or speak.

Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage, sat behind the desk with hollow eyes.

He had already witnessed too much.

From Danzo's death… to the rise of Indra.

He could feel the weight of years pressing down on his back, the burden of every choice he'd made.

The Uchiha now ruled over the village he once swore to protect.

Outside, the crimson glow of dawn reflected off the Uchiha crest fluttering on dozens of flak jackets as their forces patrolled the streets.

Even the symbol of fire on Konoha's gates seemed dimmer now — as if the Will of Fire itself had been extinguished.

Meanwhile, the villagers — civilians and ninjas alike — peeked from their homes, terrified.

Whispers spread through every street, every corner.

Some spoke of rebellion, others of surrender, but all agreed on one thing — the man they saw standing atop the colossal Susanoo was unlike any Uchiha they had ever known.

His eyes, his aura, his presence — it was as though a god had descended.

As the chaos unfolded across Konoha, Indra appeared atop the Hokage Rock.

The wind brushed against his cloak as he stood above the stone face of the Third Hokage, looking down at the vast village below.

His expression remained calm — but his mind was sharp, calculating.

"Toru Uchiha," he said, without turning.

A figure immediately appeared behind him, kneeling. "Yes, Lord Indra."

"Spread the news," Indra said coldly. "Every village, every nation. Let them all hear it."

Toru hesitated for a moment. "Should I… declare war?"

Indra's lips curved into a faint, dangerous smile.

"Not yet," he said. "For now, just let them know who rules Konoha."

"Yes, my lord."

Without another word, Toru vanished, leaving only the whisper of the wind behind.

Indra remained still for a long time, his eyes scanning the horizon.

He could feel the flow of chakra across the village — every fear, every whisper, every trembling heart.

His system's voice echoed faintly in his mind, reminding him why this was necessary.

He needed control — unity — to advance, to reach the next reward.

And for that, Konoha had to kneel.

Below him, the Uchiha clan celebrated their newfound dominance, securing the last of the loyalist factions.

The sun rose higher, casting a golden light over the village — yet it only highlighted the shadows that now ruled beneath.

From afar, the once peaceful village had changed.

Its people bowed under the rule of a single man.

And above it all stood Indra — silent, resolute, and unreadable — like a god overseeing the world he had just conquered.

The balance of power had shifted.

The era of the Uchiha had truly begun.

The morning sun had just begun to climb over the horizon of the shinobi world.

In every hidden village, the same chilling report spread like wildfire — Konoha had fallen under Uchiha control.

Whispers filled every corridor, every council chamber, every hidden base.

One name was on every tongue — Indra Uchiha.

No one knew exactly who he was, but the descriptions in the report were enough to shake even the strongest hearts.

A Susanoo larger than any in recorded history, standing nearly 750 meters tall, eight arms each wielding divine weapons, and a single man commanding all of it with calm, godlike control.

The name "Madara Uchiha" was once used to frighten children into obedience — but now, that same dread had returned under a new name.

Far to the east, in the mist-covered lands of the Hidden Mist Village, the Fourth Mizukage sat silently in his office.

Papers scattered before him bore one phrase repeatedly — Uchiha Indra.

The flickering candlelight made his expression unreadable.

He was calm… too calm.

The truth was, the man sitting on that chair wasn't entirely in control.

Deep within his mind, another presence — Obito Uchiha — controlled his thoughts like a puppeteer pulling invisible strings.

Through the Mizukage's eyes, Obito read the report again, his single Sharingan gleaming with cold reflection.

"So…" his voice murmured in the shadows of the Mizukage's mind, "someone else has awakened that level of power?"

A bitter smirk curved across his unseen face.

"How amusing."

But despite the casual words, there was an underlying tension.

Even Obito knew — if the information was true, then Indra Uchiha was no mere descendant of their clan.

He was a threat. A power even Madara's legacy would respect.

The Mizukage's eyes shifted toward the window, watching the mist rolling across the village.

Outside, the people moved nervously, as if they could sense that something dangerous loomed beyond their borders.

The silence in the room was broken by the faint creak of a door opening.

A woman stepped in — tall, graceful, and beautiful.

Her crimson hair flowed down her shoulders, covering one eye, and her expression carried both allure and danger.

It was none other than Mei Terumi, one of the strongest jonin in the Mist Village, and a woman feared as much for her beauty as for her deadly Lava and Boil Releases.

She walked across the room, her heels clicking softly against the floor, and placed a fresh report on the Mizukage's desk.

"I've confirmed it," she said softly. "The rumors are spreading through every border. Every spy, every merchant, every informant is talking about one name — Indra Uchiha."

Her voice paused, and a faint smile curved her lips.

"What a fascinating young man."

She turned her gaze toward the mist-shrouded horizon, eyes glimmering with intrigue.

"I hope I can meet him one day… and see if the legends are true."

Her words dripped with charm, yet beneath that teasing tone was genuine curiosity.

She had read the full report — how Indra had killed Danzo, overthrown the Hokage faction, and awakened eyes beyond the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.

Eyes that glowed with the Rinnegan of the Six Paths.

The thought of such power made her heart race.

But at the same time, she knew what this meant — war was inevitable.

She turned back to the Mizukage, whose silence remained unsettling.

Inwardly, Obito observed her words carefully.

"She might become a problem later," he thought coldly. "But for now, let her be."

Mei gave one last glance at the misty window, a small sigh escaping her lips.

Her seductive smile faded into something more solemn.

"I will not let the Mist suffer like before," she whispered to herself. "If the reports are true, then Indra Uchiha's rise might be the end… or the beginning."

Far to the west, across the desert dunes, the Hidden Sand Village was in an uproar.

Inside the council hall, the Fourth Kazekage, Rasa, slammed the report on the table, his golden hair shining under the morning light.

His face was tense, voice filled with restrained anger.

"What is this madness?" he demanded, looking toward the gathered council.

"An Uchiha from Konoha overthrew their entire leadership in one night?"

The elders exchanged nervous glances.

Even they didn't know what to say.

An elderly woman leaned on her cane, her wrinkled hands trembling slightly as she picked up the paper.

It was Chiyo, the legendary puppeteer and elder of the Sand.

Her cloudy eyes studied the image printed in the report — Indra's colossal Susanoo standing over Konoha like a god of destruction.

A heavy silence filled the hall before she finally spoke.

"This is not madness, Kazekage-sama… this is power."

Rasa frowned deeply. "Are you saying this report is real?"

Chiyo nodded slowly, her voice heavy with memory.

"Yes. I have seen this before… during the last war, when Madara Uchiha unleashed his might upon the world."

Her words sent a wave of unease through the council.

"This… Indra Uchiha," she continued, "he carries the same blood, the same eyes. If he has indeed awakened the Rinnegan, then he is walking the path of the Sage of Six Paths himself."

Rasa's brows furrowed. He was not one to fear easily, but the tremor in Chiyo's tone made him uneasy.

He leaned forward slightly. "What should we do, then?"

Chiyo sighed, her old eyes staring into the distance.

"For now, we do nothing. We wait and watch. Konoha is unstable. If we interfere now, it may turn against us. But…"

She tapped the report with her trembling fingers.

"Keep a close eye on every move of the Uchiha clan — especially Indra Uchiha. Do not underestimate this boy, no matter how young he is. A single mistake could bring the entire desert to ruin."

Rasa nodded slowly, his anger giving way to reluctant caution.

"Then we will observe. But," he said bitterly, "if an opportunity arises… we will take it."

Chiyo closed her eyes and whispered, almost to herself,

"Opportunities often come at the cost of blood. Be careful, Kazekage-sama."

The council adjourned, but the weight of the conversation lingered.

Rasa walked to the balcony outside his office, the hot desert wind brushing against his face.

He gazed out across the vast expanse of the village he ruled — and for the first time in years, he felt uncertain.

His heart was heavy with thought.

"Why do peaceful days always end so soon?" he muttered to himself.

Below him, the shinobi of the Sand moved restlessly, the news already spreading through the ranks.

Fear was growing — the kind of fear that could either unite or destroy.

Meanwhile, in the distant lands of lightning and stone, messages were already on their way to the Raikage and Tsuchikage.

Each leader would soon read the same chilling words

Konoha has fallen. Indra Uchiha reigns.

The shinobi world, which had enjoyed a fragile balance since the last Great War, was now trembling again on the edge of chaos.

The winds of change had begun to blow and in every corner of the world, people whispered the same thought:

The era of the Uchiha has returned.

And at the heart of it all, standing atop the Hokage Rock, his eyes glowing with power beyond comprehension

Indra Uchiha watched silently, knowing this was only the beginning.
