Chapter 262 - 262 Big Victory for the Felyne Squad

"Beautiful big sister Felyne, you're amazing! You defeated the enemy in just one move, meow!"

●ω●

When Lady Tiger returned to the ship looking gloomy, Klee Meow—who had been trying her best to please her "parent"—sensed that she wasn't in a good mood.

She immediately pounced on her, rubbing her cheek affectionately while praising her.

Sherwin could only cover his face helplessly...

That little fool… trying to flatter someone but ending up scratching the wrong paw!

"Meow!"

∑(=ω=)

After just a few rubs, Klee Meow quickly noticed the change in Huamei Meow mood.

The little doll-like Felyne didn't quite understand what had gone wrong, but one thing was certain—she must have done something bad.

Sensing danger, the tiny plush Felyne immediately tried to slip away, but Huamei Meow caught her by the scruff.

"Meow-woo! Beautiful big sister Felyne, Klee was wrong, meow!"

(=Д`=)

Klee Meow admitted her mistake in a hurry, "Even though Klee doesn't know what she did wrong… she sorry, meow!"

Of course, Huamei Meow couldn't really be mad at the little one. She tapped the small troublemaker head lightly with her sword sheath,

then sighed, "Alright, I'm not mad. Go check on Sanji Meow and Link, meow."

"Beautiful big sister Felyne is the best, meow~"

Relieved to have escaped punishment, Klee Meow exhaled in relief, hugged Huamei Meow again, and rubbed against her before the two Felynes—paw in paw—walked from the stern to mid-deck, where Sherwin was waiting.

...

"Holy Light!"

"Woof woof!"

Ohm leaped high from the head of the big white dog, whipping the Iron Cloud in his hand like a lash toward Link Meow.

At the same time, Holy Light opened its massive jaws and lunged, ready to bite down.

(ω)

Seeing that Ohm, despite wielding a longsword, fought in a completely unorthodox manner, Link Meow felt a little disappointed.

Still, he himself wasn't exactly a pure swordsman either, so he didn't hold the same strict standards that Seijuro Meow did for "swordsmanship."

With a quick sidestep, Link Meow dodged the cloud whip that lashed down from above, then swiftly raised his Hylia Shield to deflect the giant dog incoming punch.

The massive white dog, Holy Light—larger even than an average bear—was knocked backward several steps before toppling over, all four legs flailing in the air.

After all, it wasn't one of the Felynes, just a dog. Though it had learned to stand and walk on two legs, it wasn't well-balanced.

Normally, a fall like that wouldn't matter much. With its thick hide and sturdy frame, a tumble wouldn't even leave a scratch.

The problem was that Ohm had intended to land back on Holy Light head after his airborne attack—but because of the fall, Ohm came crashing down right in front of Link Meow instead.

Link Meow gave Ohm a harmless-looking grin, but his expression suddenly shifted as he raised the Master Sword and swung it down hard at his opponent head.

"Iron Rampart!"

Once again, Ohm transformed the Iron Cloud into a thick wall of defense.

However, this time, even though Link Meow didn't use Armament Haki, he had entered demon mode.

A mere Iron Cloud could never withstand the blade of Hyrule strongest cutting Felyne!

The Iron Cloud was a strange material—it possessed both the solid hardness of iron and the ethereal quality of clouds.

When its "iron" strength was shattered, it would disperse like a "cloud."

So when the Iron Cloud wall in Ohm hands was cleaved clean in two, Link Meow easily slipped through the gap created by his own strike—without the slightest resistance.

[Shield Bash] → [Inner Punch] → [Downward Slash] → [Rising Spin Slash] → finishing with [Whirlwind Cutter].

After that fluid combo, the massive dog Holy Light hadn't even gotten back up yet—while Om had already been knocked out cold.

...

"Heh! Go! Wonder Collision!"

Daigo, having set the field, immediately kicked the nearest Wonder Cloud toward another one beside Sanji Meow.

According to his plan, the series of Wonder Cloud collisions would eventually send one containing explosives flying toward Sanji Meow at an impossible angle—just like how he'd taken out so many enemies before.

But Daigo had forgotten one crucial thing: the reason he could pull that off before was because he used Observation Haki to foresee the movement of the Wonder Clouds.

Now, however, Sanji Meow also possessed Observation Haki—and used it even better than Daigo. Whatever Daigo could predict, Sanji Meow could predict as well.

So when the Wonder Collision sequence reached only its third impact, Sanji Meow kicked another Wonder Cloud into the chain reaction, redirecting the explosive one right back at Daigo.

"Yaaah!"

Daigo yelped in surprise and dove to the side.

Boom!

The Wonder Cloud explosion didn't hurt Daigo—he managed to dodge just in time—but it still scared him enough to break out in a cold sweat.

"Tch… that weak little bomb? Even Klee Meow fish bombs pack more punch than that, meow."

Sanji Meow gave the unimpressive explosion a look of disdain, then swayed slightly—vanishing from sight in an instant.

Silent Step (Shave).

"If you don't have any other tricks, then just stand there and obediently let me kick you to death, meow!"

Once again, electric light flashed around the small yellow cat hovering above Daigo, and with a fierce cry, it stomped down at him...

"Devil Leg Style · Eight Gates Released Formation · Evening Elephant · One Kick, meow!"

Among the Four Great Priests, if you ignored Nirvana self-sabotaging tendencies, Daigo was undoubtedly the weakest.

His combat ability mostly relied on Observation Haki and the unpredictable attacks of his Cloud shell.

Unlike the others, who possessed real fighting power even without using Skypiean dials, Daigo strength came almost entirely from his tools.

Daigo himself understood this very well. So when he realized his opponent could also use Observation Haki—and was even stronger than him—panic instantly set in.

But the key to using Observation Haki was maintaining emotional calmness.

Now that Daigo had lost his composure, he could no longer sustain his Haki—and thus couldn't dodge Sanji Meow strike in time.

"Uwaaaaaaaahhh—!"

In a panic, Daigo raised both hands high, praying that the Impact Dial in his palms would somehow block Sanji Meow kick.

Bang!

Crack!

Snap!

At the instant the small black cat leg struck Daigo palms, three sounds rang out in rapid succession—the clash of their impact, the shattering of the Impact Dial, and the breaking of Daigo arms.

"AAAAAAHHHH—!"

Daigo let out a horrible scream as both arms were snapped.

Fortunately, Sanji Meow didn't let him suffer for long. The little cat leg continued its unstoppable momentum, landing squarely on Daigo forehead and sending him straight into the sleep of a newborn.

...

"These so-called Divine Priests are all idiots, meow! I didn't even have to get serious, meow!"

Returning to the ship, Sanji Meow immediately started shouting boastfully—but his eyes kept sneaking glances at Purah Meow and Hua Mei Meow, clearly hoping to earn praise from his beautiful big sister Felynes.

"Wonderful, wonderful! Our Sanji is really amazing~"

Sherwin quickly stepped forward and cut in, praising first.

"Ahhhhh! Sherwin, you idiot meow!"

(=◣皿◢=)

Failing to get the praise he wanted, the little yellow cat went wild, biting and kicking at Sherwin in frustration.

Link Meow and Sanji Meow had returned to the Dodo Advance almost at the same time.

Although they were both yellow cats, the little leopard cat was far more likable than the little yellow one...

(=`=)

The small leopard cat handed a sword hilt with a round pommel to Sherwin, who was still "fighting" with Sanji Meow—it was the Iron Cloud Longsword he had just taken from Ohm.

"See? Look at Link!" Sherwin said, hugging Link Meow affectionately while giving Sanji Meow a fierce glare. "That what a proper Felyne should be like!"

"Hmph! Then don't eat the food I cook anymore, meow!" Sanji Meow glared right back, completely unafraid.

"...I'm sorry. I was wrong!"

The embarrassed Hunter immediately admitted defeat.
