I'm sorry, but I think I'm unable to continue this story. When I first started this, it was because I wanted to do something in the summer and not just work 40 hours every week. I wanted to do something that I always wanted to do. That was to write fanfics.
When you read a lot of it, you kind of get inspired, and when I read Worm fanfics, I went to the deep end and started heavily researching everything about the lore, world, and more. Then I discovered Worm CYOA, and that was another deep end I got into.
I literally made so many Google Docs about all my builds, and it's not even a joke that I have over 30 builds from various Worm CYOA alone.
When I made this fic, it was a spur-of-the-moment thing as I was watching some Batman movies and researching Worm, and I had the idea of combining them and making a fanfic based on that premise.
I was at first motivated because it was summertime and there was nothing to do, but my job came, and then college started.
The updates became fewer and fewer because I needed to focus on my Homework and study for my exams, which I passed!
Then I sort of lost all motivation for writing this book because my exams kind of burned me out, and I wrote myself into many plot holes that I didn't know how to fix. Such as the Entities being able to deal with Out-of-context problems, supernatural creatures, and more.
I still want to do Worm fanfics and write them, but with the way my College is going, it's going to be tough, as I need to study for it to pass and not fail and go into debt.
That's why I'm dropping my first fanfic because I didn't properly prepare and plan what to do. I'm already posting another Worm fanfic on the SpaceBattles Forum by the same name.
That fanfic I actually spent weeks planning and developing the story.
I will eventually post it here once I get enough chapters.
I'm very sorry for breaking my promise :( of not dropping.
