"Tsunade's slugs!" he tried again. This time, he was met with no negative comments. But this was only because Shizune had never actually seen Tsunade's slug. She didn't know that the "thousands" of slugs were all just small parts of one, giant, self-dividing immortal slug.
"Shizune, you need to realize one thing," Keisuke said seriously. "Tailed Beasts are just like us ninja. They can cry, laugh, run—well, Isobu can only crawl. Ahem. Anyway, we don't need to treat them with fear or hostility."
His three team members nodded on the surface, but they were all thinking the same thing. Only someone like you, Captain, wouldn't fear them. It's the other way around; the Tailed Beasts are afraid of you!
"The village will be sending a specific notification in a while. For the next two days, you, Kakashi, and Rin will continue to familiarize yourselves with Isobu," he continued. "Of course, if you want to fight him, you can. He's an excellent training partner. First-class durability."

Shisui and Retsu also shook their heads. They were stronger than Shizune, but not so strong that they wanted to challenge a Tailed Beast.
"Fine," Keisuke sighed. He really did think Isobu was a great punching bag. "By the way, one more thing. Shizune, do you know about the Seven Ninja Swordsmen?"
"A little, but not much."
"Then try this one on." From his sealing scroll, he took out a giant sewing needle and placed a Contract Seal on it. "One of the seven swords: the Longsword, Nuibari."
