its been a week and the gala is in two days, i had everything except my outfit but it didn't matter I could just pick out something from my closet, i haven't even worn half of the cloths in it. after the talk we had Alec left early the next day and we haven't spoken since then, I was beginning to think he changed his mind about being my partner but i don't care I planned to go alone or with my managing director.
sitting on my couch in my room, with my laptop on my laps. a cup of red wine on the side table and most of all peace and quiet, I needed to relax before the real drama started, someone knocked on the door "come in" I answered, it was George he was carrying a box with a bag on it "mistress, a package came in for you" he said, "oh from who" I asked, George paused for a bit I could tell he was deciding if he would tell me or not
"unfortunately mistress I don't know" I narrowed my gaze at him, what does he mean he doesn't know. the security in this villa is so high that a fly cant fly by without being noticed and he's telling me someone dropped a package for me without being caught, I stayed silent staring at him waiting for him to tell me the truth but he said nothing else.
I could tell him to take it back but since the package is from an anonymous person where will he send it to, sighing in defeat i said "drop it on my bed" walking to my bed he dropped it and quietly left the room. I stayed seated on my couch staring at the package, my mind raced through the people that could possibly send me a dress without getting noticed by the maximum security in the villa, I chuckled when I pictured Alec's face when i tell him his maximum security villa has been breached. I thought of tony as a possible suspect, he is a hacker and a brutal one, maybe he wanted to send me a gift for no apparent reason, he did that sometimes when I was Estella.
but then I didn't give him my address yet, and he doesn't have my current number to even track where I live so it couldn't be him, scratching my head, I decided to check the package maybe it will have a clue about who sent it. getting up from the couch I walked up to the package peaking inside the bag first, it was a pair of black stiletto heels, I was dumb founded but it didn't have anything that could point out who sent it to me, placing the pair of heels back in the box, I looked at the big box
opening it there laid a beautiful silk red gown, picking it up it flowed to the ground, it was a sleeveless show back mermaid gown and i loved it, looking back in the box there was a note in it, dropping the gown i picked up the note and read it "sorry I haven't reached out since I left, the dress is for the gala, I saw it and I thought it will suit you perfectly, see you next tomorrow" I looked down at the name at the bottom, it was Alec. why did he have to send the dress anonymously, he literally owned this place, he could have just brought it to me himself even though I would have rejected it.
looking down at the dress, I wanted to send it back but it looked stunning, but I didn't like the fact that Alec keeps doing things for me even when I didn't ask and clearly didn't need it. folding the dress I placed it back into the box and dropped in my closet. I have to speak to him about it again. walking back to sit on the couch, I picked up my laptop and continued what I was doing.
"did she take it?" Alec asked "yes master Alec she did" George replied, and for some reason Alec let out a sigh he didn't know he was holding "you're really into the girl" Jayden said, leaning on Alec's desk "why are you still here, I thought i told you to leave" Alec said frowning, Jayden scowled "its time for lunch, I wanted to ask if you wanted to grab something" Jayden replied
"you can go, I'm still working" Alec said, focusing back on his laptop, shrugging Jayden walked to the door "okay" he said leaving his office. Alec stared at his laptop screen the logo of a new company that resurfaced from nowhere highwire tech company.
