Chapter 8 - Interruption

The silence in my room was broken by Satsuki's throaty, silky voice.

"Which one of us are you going to fuck first, Ren?"

I smirked, my cock throbbing. The choice was delicious. Mei Ling, the desperate, newly-surrendered wife, or Satsuki, the perfect, insatiable succubus.

"You first," I murmured, leaning toward Satsuki. "You deserve the honor for breaking the neighbor."

But before I could move my body into position, a deafening roar erupted from outside.

BOOM!

The entire apartment trembled. The lampshade beside the bed shook violently, and the lights in the ceiling flickered.

Mei Ling let out a high-pitched scream, the sound of her panic piercing the air.

I frowned, feeling a deep irritation run through me. Did someone really dare to interrupt my pleasure?

I ignored the tremor and Mei Ling's screaming, leaning over Satsuki again, ready for penetration.

"Ignore it," I growled, my voice tense from the interruption. "It's just some idiot playing with fireworks."

Satsuki, however, was not in a sexual trance. Her green eyes were fixed on the ceiling. She pulled away quickly, her expression now serious, her professional instinct overriding the succubus's.

"No, Ren. That's not fireworks."

With a swift movement, she grabbed her cell phone, which was on the nightstand.

The phone had already been ringing for some time, but I'd chosen to ignore it.

"It's the building manager," she said, holding the phone out to me.

I answered, my voice cold and sharp.

"What the hell do you want, Takashi?"

The voice on the other end was hoarse, filled with fear.

"M-Mr. Kurokawa! Thank God! It's villains! They've surrounded the entire district! They... they're taking us hostage! They're demanding money to free us!"

I let out an impatient huff, glancing at Satsuki and Mei Ling. Mei Ling was trembling, huddled, while Satsuki calmed her with a firm arm.

Although, you couldn't really call it calming, since Satsuki was taking the opportunity to grope Mei Ling's breasts.

"Villains? Hostages? That's ridiculous. Where is the head of security?"

A dull thud was heard over the phone, followed by a scream, and then a new, gravelly voice, distorted by an electronic filter, took over the line.

"Looks like your 'head of security' isn't going to show up, little friend." The voice laughed, a dry, cruel sound. "You have one hour to gather one billion yen, or everyone in this building dies."

Am I being threatened?

They weren't just attacking a building.

They were attacking MY domain.

They were mocking MY power.

I laughed, a low, dangerous sound.

"Aren't you afraid of the Heroes? They'll be here in minutes. And if you hurt anyone, the penalty will be worse than death."

The villain laughed again, his confidence unshakable. "Before your caped hero arrives, fire will have already cleansed this trash. But no one has to get hurt if the money shows up."

Mei Ling, who heard everything, screamed again, tears streaming down her face. Satsuki hugged her tightly, burying her head in the deep valley of her breasts.

Fuck!

My patience is running out!

The desire to get back in bed and fuck Mei Ling and Satsuki—who were clearly in the middle of an intimate moment—collided with the fury of being interrupted.

"Listen carefully, worm," I said, with an icy calm that was more frightening than anger. "I'm not the head of security, but I am the owner of this district. And you've made a terrible mistake by invading my territory. I don't care about Heroes. I'm coming down there, and when I arrive, all of your men, including you, will be punished with death."

The villain was silent for an instant, shocked by my threat.

"You... you insolent brat!" he snarled, his anger replacing his confidence.

CLACK!

I hung up before he could finish.

I got off the bed, my cock still semi-erect, throbbing with rage. Mei Ling's body was covered in sweat and tears, but Satsuki held her with surprising calm and vulgarity.

"Ren, what are you going to do?" Satsuki asked, her voice low, but her eyes showed a mixture of worry and excitement.

I grabbed Satsuki's gray blazer, which was tossed on the floor, and used it to cover her nudity. Then, I grabbed a pair of black sweatpants and a dark jacket, pulling them on hastily.

"I'm going to handle this." I leaned in and gave Satsuki a quick, possessive kiss on the forehead. "Calm the neighbor down. I'll be back in ten minutes to continue where we left off. Don't you dare leave this bed."

Satsuki nodded with a happy smile. "Go. And come back soon."

I left the room and the apartment. My mind was spinning with thoughts of hatred and fury.

They dared to attack MY BUILDING.

I don't know who it is, but they will suffer greatly before they die.

I reached the elevator and, catching my reflection in the mirror, I realized how beautiful I am when I'm irritated. I pulled a thin black mask from my pocket and put it over my face.

That's it!

They don't deserve to see such beauty before they die.

I felt the floor tremble again, and my patience ran out.

Zzzt!

Using a tiny sliver of a telekinetic ability, I dragged the elevator to the ground floor. The elevator, which had been on the twelfth floor, descended in a second.

The elevator doors opened.

I took a step out and was greeted by four henchmen. All were wearing red jumpsuits and holding automatic rifles.

They laughed, pointing their weapons at me.

"Look at this, an idiot civilian! Where do you think you're going, little friend?"

I didn't answer. I continued to walk, indifferent to the insignificant threat they might pose.

The henchmen got angry and fired.

The moment the bullets left the barrels of their guns, I again used the telekinetic ability I had stolen a few months ago.

Whshh!

The bullets stopped in mid-air, hovering inches from my body, their tips pointed at me, frozen in their trajectory.

I simply walked past them.

As for the henchmen, I didn't give them time to react. My newly acquired and massive psychic ability manifested.

With a single thought, I seized all four of them. They floated into the air, their weapons clattering to the ground.

I immobilized them with the power of my mind, leaving them trapped in a telekinetic bubble, before moving on.

I arrived at the large entrance hall, where dozens of terrified people were being held hostage. In the center was the man who had spoken on the phone. He was the boss, wearing a red jumpsuit with silver insignia.

With a single glance, I could discover his meta-human ability.

His Ability was Rank 2 Illusion Creation.

But it wasn't him that interested me.

Beside him, I could feel it. An invisible presence, hidden by an illusion.

Without any trouble, I could distinguish her appearance beneath the illusion and the baggy jumpsuit: a perfectly curvaceous female body; full breasts, round hips.

But what truly interested me was her meta-human ability, a mixture of Telekinesis, Mind Reading, and Mind Control.

A Rank 3 ability. Powerful and complex.

And soon, it would be mine.

I stopped, staring at the empty air beside the villain.

The boss looked at me, incredulous. "Who are you? Are you scared, kid?"

I ignored him, my gaze fixed on the void. Whether I wanted to admit it or not, that woman was very beautiful...

The boss grew irritated. He began to create dozens of copies of himself, all advancing.

"DIE!" he shouted.

The invisible presence beside him manifested. The illusory copies began to manifest weapons, and the bullets aiming for my chest became tangible. The woman, using her telekinesis, was giving tangibility to the boss's illusions.

I smiled beneath my mask.

I didn't move. The situation was serious; if I moved, the bullets would hit the hostages behind me.

I could stop the bullets, but that would be too simple.

So I have to use my trump card.

Henchmen. Human Shields.

The four henchmen I had immobilized at the entrance were pulled by my telekinesis, flying toward me.

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

The bullets struck their bodies, and screams of pain echoed.

But at the last instant, before any of the henchmen could die, the rain of bullets stopped.

I looked at the empty air, toward that invisible woman, who was literally naked to my eyes.

"Why did you stop?"

The invisible air shimmered. I could see the woman's surprised expression at having been discovered.

She could no longer hide. Her voice, sweet and trembling, drifted through the air.

"I-I... I didn't want to kill anyone."

I let out my most sadistic laugh, a sound that made the hostages cringe.

"Hahahahah... And I'm an exception to that rule, right?" I took a step toward her. "If those bullets had hit me, I would have died, wouldn't I? You're a hypocrite. And dangerous."

The woman's expression froze. But she didn't have time to think.

The next instant, I was in front of her.

My hand closed around her head. She was beautiful, her body equally lovely, but she tried to kill me.

And it's as I always say: if you try to kill me, you die.

WHSHHHHHHHH—!

An agonizing scream escaped her mouth as I began to extract her powers. The absorption of an Ability caused no pain, but to speed up the process, I deliberately sent electrical waves through her nerves, making any kind of resistance to the extraction impossible.

Her body thrashed violently, but my grip was iron. I could feel her suffering; she was feeling the pain of being electrocuted directly in the brain.

I watched her like that until the absorption was complete, savoring the terror in her gaze.

When I finished, the woman's corpse, now visible, fell to the floor. Her expression was a mixture of excruciating pain and eternal fear.

I turned to the boss, who was only now realizing his partner was dead and that he was in danger.

He tried to flee, but I was faster. The process was equally painful, but quicker, as his Ability was of a lower Rank.

Two new abilities for the collection. I felt the power flood my body.

I turned to face the hostages; they were terrified and huddled. I took off my mask, but not before using an ability to alter my face, as I really didn't want to expose my true identity.

I forced a smile.

"Don't worry. I am the Head of Security for this district," I said, with a falsely warm voice. "Any invasion here is punishable by death. It's our guarantee that we care deeply about our clients' safety."

I helped each hostage to their feet, speaking beautiful, clichéd phrases, while my thoughts lingered on the bodies of Mei Ling and Satsuki. When the Heroes and the police arrived, I handed over the nearly dead henchmen and gave a simple, objective report.

Of course, I omitted the part where I stole their powers; it was a simple, agonizing execution. Nothing more.

Some of the heroes tried to interject, but I coldly dismissed them with a rebuke, explaining that this wouldn't have happened if they had arrived sooner.

"But...!" The black-haired heroine who questioned me tried to object, but a higher-class hero stopped her.

The A-Class hero bowed, making the B-Class heroine bow as well, apologizing with a forced smile.

"My apologies for the inconvenience, we will do better next time."

"I certainly hope so," I replied coldly and walked past them, stopping in front of the building manager, who shrank back in fear at the sight of me.

"Tell the head of security he's fired," I said coldly. "And that I'll soon be collecting what I gave him."

Then I returned to the elevator, feeling the newly acquired power flow through my veins. The interruption had been terrible, but the reward was divine.

Before the doors closed, I had one last glimpse of the B-Class heroine; her Hero name is Scarlet Dawn. She was staring at me with a frustrated look, her lips pursed.

I found it funny, but when I looked at her body—those curves highlighted by the red latex suit she wore—I wanted to laugh.

She looked just like one of those heroines from the nineties, where the heroines were nothing more than voluptuous bodies in tight latex suits.

But I held back the laugh. For some reason, I felt this wouldn't be the last time I'd see her.

So I smiled and waved at her.

After the doors closed, I could still see her expression twist in fury. She had clearly caught my mockery

"Hahahahah!"
