JESSIE
"And to think, I saw her two days before she died." Sofia sniffs, wiping the little tear threatening to escape her tiny eyes. "Life is so cruel." I look away from her eyes, and I set my eyes on the beautiful amulet around her neck.
It's a star in a circle. I believe I've seen that symbol in movies, especially fantasy movies.
"Tell me about it," Elsa says. "It's so strange how you know someone, grew up with them and then suddenly they're gone, they no longer exist."
That's the messed-up version of life right there. That death is a part of life.
Because I could not stop for Death -
He kindly stopped for me -
The Carriage held but just Ourselves -
And Immortality.
~Emily Dickinson.
