Heavy rain poured down on them. The smoke began to clear. Everyone's vision recovered, and they were all being restrained by the WOTD members.
Cecilia couldn't get up, held down by Eterna, the WOTD Vice Leader. "Ugh... Eterna?? Why are you here, and so strong... let go!!"
The other gang leaders were also held down and couldn't get up because the strength of the WOTD members had received half of Nic's stats.
Before arriving here, Nic went to the WOTD territory to make them side with him, as this gang was neutral.
Ghost was confused and annoyed because he couldn't move, being held down by a WOTD member. "Damn it!! You are supposed to be neutral, why are you interfering!!"
Then the WOTD leader, Lucas, appeared, firing his gun into the sky. "Enough, all of you. There's no point in fighting."
Back to Nic, who was still silent, stabbed by Alexa. Alexa was shocked and immediately stepped back, dropping her knife. Her gaze was frantic, feeling guilty.
"I-I'm sorry, Nic! I... I didn't mean it... I wanted to kill the person behind you!!" Alexa said, still maintaining her assassin ego.
Alexa continued to talk, explaining that she didn't mean it and just hated everyone here. "I don't know what else to do... so is it wrong for me to do it again—"
Without a word, Nic immediately hugged Alexa.
Silence... the heavy rain continued to pour down on them. In this moment, Alexa was confused, unable to speak. She was shocked by what Nic was doing.
"Hey, you're not alone," Nic said.
Nic immediately used the God of Psychology skill to calm Alexa's mental state and make her listen more deeply.
Nic continued to hold her tightly. "I already know your problem here. You're fed up? Want to go back to the West? For what? Your fake family is also destroyed... didn't you come here to change? They won't accept you? That's not your problem... just consider them your enemy when you want to change. If killing was your mission as an Assassin, then ignoring them is your mission when you want to change."
Nic released the hug and looked deeply into her eyes, showing his bloody hand that had been stabbed.
"Look, if I weren't here, you would have failed and reverted to the old Alexa. Did you forget? I am also from the West, and this war happened because I came... so wake up, Alexa." Nic immediately touched the corner of Alexa's mouth and pulled it up with two fingers so that Alexa would smile.
It turned out Alexa had been crying all along, but the rain made it unnoticeable. She kept suppressing her expression, but finally, it broke. She knelt on the ground, looking at her face in the puddle of rainwater.
"Seriously... I almost hurt your girlfriend... but after we met again, you didn't retaliate, but instead did this... ugh, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!! WHO IS THERE ANYONE LIKE YOU IN THIS CRUEL WORLD!" Alexa said, looking up, crying and emotionally shouting at Nic.
"There is, it's me... everyone can change as long as they want to. Cheer up, Alexa," Nic extended his hand to help Alexa stand up.
But the emotional atmosphere was immediately interrupted because Ghost had seen Nic.
"DAMN IT, YOU WERE THERE ALL ALONG!! THIS WAR HAPPENED BECAUSE OF YOU! GO TO HELL!!" Ghost yelled, running toward Nic as the WOTD member holding him was momentarily distracted.
But when Ghost reached behind Nic, Nic quickly turned around and punched Ghost's face very hard, sending him flying and immediately knocking him unconscious, shocking everyone.
"I caused this war? Nonsense," Nic said.
Nic immediately released the God ofIntimidation and God of Fear skills, instantly making the entire arena area tense. Everyone felt it.
"Don't think you are the strongest people in this world... there is always someone above. Even though you are tough, try to respect new people... WHY SO MUCH HATE?" Nic said with intense emotion.
Cecilia, seeing this, was silent.
But suddenly, the sound of helicopters appeared. Five helicopters came to the location, and it turned out to be the President and his aides.
The President came because he received news that the arena was utterly chaotic.
The President jumped from the helicopter down with authority, then approached Nic. "We are tough because our country is always looked down upon by you foreigners."
Then his five aides also stepped forward. They were nicknamed the Seven-Headed Snake, and the main head was the President.
"Your Intimidation aura won't work because we have received many threats like that," one of the aides said.
The President looked toward Cecilia. "Hey, Seventh Snake, don't you want to join us here?"
Cecilia stood up and shook her head. "Huh? I'm no longer one of you. I'm on Nic's side." Cecilia went behind Nic.
The WOTD gang, Jenna, and the others that Nic had made his allies went behind Nic to defend him.
This confused the President. "You have even poisoned them to become traitors? Interesting."
AOD and DFD went behind the President.
It looked like round 2 of the war was about to begin, but Nic immediately said with a firm voice,
"STEP BACK!!!! I WILL FIGHT THEM ALONE!!" Nic's voice thundered, and everyone immediately obeyed, except Cecilia.
"HUH? WHAT DO YOU MEAN? ARE YOU SURE YOU'LL FIGHT ALL OF THEM ALONE?" Cecilia asked worriedly.
Nic looked at her. "Did you forget who I am?"
"Ah... Death Raven?" Cecilia said.
"No, I AM THE RAVEN KING!!" Nic said.
He immediately used his Fusion Skill and changed his mode, not to Death Raven but to King Raven. Nic's appearance was darker and scarier, and his aura grew stronger.
His red eyes glowed, and his gaze was like a sign of death for all of them.
"That gaze... it's terrifying," the President said.
Everyone behind the President slowly retreated because their bodies automatically signaled a very dangerous threat in front of them. Even Cecilia, a fighting maniac, felt serious chills.
Nic shouted like a terrifying raven's cry, and the sound echoed as if in a cave, making everyone even more terrified.
"I won't play around anymore. I will show you what true fear is." Nic said coldly.
The President immediately prepared. "DON'T BE AFRAID!! HE SEEMS MORE THAN A THREAT!! HE IS ONLY ALONE! I HAVE ALSO DEPLOYED MILITARY TROOPS HERE!"
But as the President spoke, everyone behind him had already collapsed, scattered in a matter of seconds.
The President looked back and saw everyone lying on the ground. "What... is this..."
"President, look out!!" one of the aides said.
The President turned around and saw Nic was already in front of him, his sharp claws only a few millimeters from his eyes.
"Surrender. I don't want to hurt you," Nic said.
Hearing that, the President's ego was shattered, and he was immediately furious. He immediately attacked Nic, making Nic fall.
"You have angered the king cobra... don't mess around in my territory," the President said.
But once again, the President underestimated Nic until he didn't realize that Nic was behind him again, holding his sharp claws to his neck. "Mr. President, you still seem to be messing around. I'm just here to make you surrender and end this."
